14 𝑤𝑜𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎 𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡（𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡4）

Wednesday and I had gone to the police station to give the shitty ass sheriff a picture of the monster that Xavier drew

I will be honest I feel bad I mean I'm glad to go to the Rave'N but what if he finds out why we were at the sack in the first place

Wednesday placed the drawing as the sheriff picked it up

"We both know that there is a monster out there.if  we're going to stop it, I think it's fine we put our differences aside and work together" Wednesday told him

"And this is your stake for me to deal you in? Because remember this Wednesday, you are the only one who say this monster thing or whatever it is not y/n so y/n you cannot agree with her if you never saw it" he said as he looked at the both of us

I nodded and looked at Wednesday and sighed

The sheriff had pulled up a picture we couldn't see what it was tho

"You have seen this monster before haven't you sheriff" I said as he looked at me like I was joking

I had a feeling he knows what it is he was encountered with it if Wednesday is right and the monster can change from monster to human then he could of possibly already know that

"I'm sorry, you gotta do better than that. You got some nice detail though." He said as he gave the paper back

"We didn't draw it" Wednesday said

Shit

"I need to know who did"

"Unless we can see that picture or" I said with Wednesday finishing my sentence "unless were exchanging intel, I'm not at liberty to say."

The sheriff leaned back into his chair

"Why would I share information about an ongoing murder investigation with high school kids?" He said as I rolled my eyes

"Well maybe because those high school kids are going to be the reason this murder gets discovered and without you knowing" I said as I place my hand on the table leaning towards him

"Also we go to nevermore and you don't. Don't you want eyes and ears behind those ivy-covered walls? And here's a better deal it's not just me y/n too" Wednesday said including me

"Listen, Velma, and daphne, why don't you and the Scooby gang stick to your homework and leave the investigation to the professionals"  he said I was about to say something back but the phone started ringing

The sheriff picked up it was another officer

Wednesday and I were walking out when he stopped us " hey Addams let me see that sketch again. The person who drew this, is that your suspect?" He asked as she nodded

Don't tell me she is suspecting Xavier

"When you give me some concrete evidence, maybe we will talk." He said as Wednesday walked out

I stayed I need to tel him something

As he was about to get the phone I slammed his hand down

"You got a hell of a nerve to be saying that saying that you are a shitty ass cop who can't even get his job done. I will figure this out and I will put you in your place real quick. Also get your son away from my sister he has no business with her" I said as I stormed off

I had followed Wednesday I had to keep it in as we were walking Tyler walked up to us

"Don't want to ask what trouble you are in now." He said as I rolled my eyes

"Nothing I can't handle. Your fathers in particularly frustrating form today. Avoid." She said

"Yeah, welcome to my world.  You guys have the Rave'N this weekend, right? It was all the buzz at the Weathervane today." He asked us

"I  must be the only one not obsessed with this stupid dance." Wednesday said looking away

"So, you are not going?" He asked

"No I'm not but she is" Wednesday said as she pointed to me I was looking away tho

"Who is it" he asked us "Xavier" Wednesday answered for me

"And I'm going with them" she said because she was

Tyler had gotten a little sad as he started walking away

"Got it, hope you three have fun" he said

"I'm not sure why you are upset" Wednesday asked Tyler as she turned his way

"That's kind of the problem I mean call me crazy Wednesday but you keep giving me these signals." He said as if they had some sort of relationship

"That's not my fault I can't interpret your emotional Morse code." Wednesday told him

"Then let me spell it out. I though we liked each other, but then you pull something like this, and I have no idea where I stand. Am I in the "more-than-friend zone" or just a pawn some game you are playing?" He asked us giving her different feelings

"I'm just dealing with a lot right now.  I need to prioritize." She said

"Thanks for clearing that up. I guess, give me a call if I ever move up to your to-do list." And with that Tyler left thing had started drawing onto Wednesday shoulder

"Not one word." Before Wednesday could continue walking I stopped her "Wednesday" I said "what now we have somewhere we need to be" Wednesday turned towards me

"When were you going to tell me you have Xavier as a suspect?" I asked raising my voice slightly

"Well you're never around anymore I'm not dumb y/n every time I can't find you, you are with Xavier so yes I made him a suspect." Wednesday said coldly

"But we never agreed on this we are in this together"

"Well someone has to take over and that's going to be me" Wednesday say and walked off soon after

We had ended up at the bee hive

"Enid wouldn't let me keep this in our dorm" Wednesday said as he pinned something to our board

"No worries. Mi Coleman Ed su Coleman." Eugene said as he fixed his glasses

"I assume this is the creature that's been rampaging in the woods." He said which to our shock he knew

"You've heard about it before?" Wednesday and I asked

"Rumors. Mr. Fitts banned me from bug-hunting until further notice claimed a bear was on the loose, which I knew was a lie. Didn't match their hibernation schedules. Speaking of monsters with sharp claws, could you give this to your roomie? Put in a good word for me" he said as he grabbed a bottle of honey

"I hear she's still sans fate for the rave'n." Eugene told us

"Eugene."

"I know the chances of her asking me are next to zero, but I don't care. I'll keep putting myself out there until Enid finally...sees me." He said which I loved he was still trying

"And if she never does?" Wednesday said bringing down his spirt

"She will.I'm playing the long game. My mom says people will appreciate me when I'm older. They are probably just trying to make me feel better, but—" he said but Wednesday was short to cutting him off

"Listen, people like us as in me , you and y/n we are different we are original thinkers, intrepid outliers in this cast cesspool of adolescence. We don't need these inane rites of passage to validate who we are." Wednesday said which was the truth sadly

"Wait so you guys aren't going to the rave'n either? I heard a rumor y/n was with Xavier" he said as we looked towards him

"Actually, we are." Wednesday said

"Why are people already saying stuff tho" I said

"Sketches are the closest thing I have to a lead to try and stop this thing." Wednesday said changing the subjects

"That circle I think I know where that is." He told us as our attention was brought up

Wednesday had out the sketch done showing us the circle that was out in the woods that's Eugene was talking about

"It's definitely a match" Wednesday and I said in sync "what were you doing out here?" Wednesday asked him

"Collecting specimens. This place is ground zero for horny gypsy moths. Do you think it is in there?" He asked as we looked towards to cave

"Only one way to find out." Wednesday said as we walked closer

Eugene shook his head "I'm not a huge fan of enclosed spaces. I'm claustrophobic." He told us which it wasn't a big deal since only Wednesday and me were going to go in

"If you hear me screaming bloody murder, there's a good chance in just enjoying myself. " Wednesday said as she started leading and Eugene and myself started following

The cave wasn't as big as I thought what a bummer

We all had flashlights And there was horns everywhere big ones tho

"Are those all human?" Eugene asked

"No, I think it's got a taste for venison." Wednesday said picking a deer head skull up

Eugene and I started looking around and one thing was found was hanged up handcuffs

"Check this out" Eugene said as Wednesday came over

"Yahtzee" Wednesday said bending down to something her body was covering it so I couldn't see

"What is that?" Eugene asked "concrete proof" I said as Wednesday nodded grabbing a knife and taking the craw out of the rock it was in

And once again we were back at Xavier sack which I didn't like

Wednesday opened the door taking her backpack off

"All right, I won't be long.I just need to find something to match against the claws DNA" Wednesday said as she went in I quickly followed

"Wednesday you still can be on this" I told her as I looked around to make sure Xavier wasn't coming a

Wednesday had found a bloody rag which it must have been when the monster came out at him

All of the sudden the door opened Xavier had walked in we both turned around standing still

"What the hell are y'all doing" he asked us with a bit of anger in his tone can't blame him we were going through this stuff

"How do you know what the monster looks like? Or are these all just self-portraits?" Wednesday asked him

"What, you think it's me? I saved you guys life" Xavier told Wednesday

"So did the monster. It was that you the night Rowan was killed?" Wednesday said bringing up that day

" you are so out of line now." Xavier yelled at Wednesday "I'm trying to uncover the truth. And your art seeks to have recurring motif." She said as he looked around

"Yeah.this creature's been haunting my dreams for weeks.I try to block it out, but I can't do I just.. come in here and paint it. When I was painting this one, class reached out and took a swipe at me. That's how I got theses scratches" he said using his hands to express it

"I thought you were able to control your ability" I said with a worried tone as I walked closer to him

"Not when it comes to this" he replied back

"Maybe it's your guilty conscience." Wednesday said

"I told you I'm not the mobster okay" he said slightly yelling at the both of us now

Wednesday had pulled out the sketch again

"So you just happened to draw pictures of it,down to the location of its lair in the woods? Those are some pretty vivid dreams." Wednesday said as I tried to stop her

"You guys were in here. Before when I caught you outside" Xavier said turning to me and looking directly at me

"That's the only reason you asked me to the Rave'N isn't it to try and cover you are unbelievable and what about that night I told you about this I thought we had something y/n and to think I told Bianca that's you weren't gonna manipulate me but what you did was way worse than her now I start to think do you care about anyone or anything at all y/n? Is that the only reason you paid attention to me" He said

It hurt me

"No Xavier all of those times were real I'm not trying to manipulate you I would never" I plead as I could tell he was getting angry

"Get the hell out!" He yelled at us pointing his finger towards to door we stood there for a moment " I said get out" Wednesday and I got out a tear rolled down my check but I had to wipe it away before Wednesday saw it

I had started walking quickly back to the dorm while Wednesday went back to the police station

I had bumped into someone I picked up my head it was Ajax Enids crush

"Hey are you okay?"

It hit me I wasn't okay I lost Xavier a guy I could trust and I guy I loved wow I loved him

I broke down

"Hey what's wrong" he said as he grabbed my hand and brought me somewhere else

"What's wrong" he said as I wiped my tears

"Oh shit I'm so sorry" I said as he laughed a bit "no your good do you want to tell me what's wrong?" He asked me which I felt like I could trust him and I needed someone to talk to either ways "I fucked up with Xavier because I didn't tell him everything I couldn't. And now he thinks I'm using him for something when I really did like Him and that's not something I would say trying to figure all of this out I can't tell him everything. And now I don't have a partner to the Rave'N which I didn't want to go the only reason I was gonna go was because of him." I said as tears started flowing down my face

"Hey it's okay I think you need to give him some time and then you tell him everything he talks a shit ton about you so I'm sure if you just tell him the truth then he will understand" he said which I nodded "thank you" I said with a smile as I wiped my tears off then I remembered what he did the Enid

"Hold up why did you stand Enid up" I said as I raised my eyebrow "um so you see when I kinda well I did stone myself" he said as he scratched his head I started laughing

" for real" I asked "hey stop" he said as we both started laughing

"Why haven't you told her you know she is going with someone else to the Rave'N right you missed your chance" I said as I put my head on my hand "Yeah I do know and I hate I haven't told her but I want to tell her at the Rave'm but I don't wanna go by my self looking like a fool" he said as I nodded

"Hey I have an idea I know a guy and he needs a date why don't you go with him" Ajax told me as I looked at him "why then Xavier would be more mad at me" I said as I looked away "but if you tell him that this guy only took you as his date to make another girl jealous then he would be okay with it I think" Ajax told me "is that true or"I said because I didn't want to make up an even bigger lie to Xavier

"No it's true don't worry I wouldn't do that to you or Xavier"Ajax told me as I nodded "here I have his number if you want it" Ajax said brining out his phone which my face expression went down

"Oh" Ajax said as he put his phone away "I'll meet you too up but we have to get going it's almost 10:30" Ajax said he was right the time had passed by while we were just talking

And with that we were both headed to our dorms but one thing I didn't realize was someone was watching us with tears rolling down his eyes

It was the next night I didn't talk to Wednesday the whole day not until I tell Xavier everything I mean she is the reason why all of this happened

Ajax,his date, my date, and me were walking up to the front of the door way when I stopped all of them I save Xaiver and Bianca

My heart sunk

"I feel like I'm going to throw up" I said as they looked at me the 4 of us had all gotten pretty close as friends we were like a group kinda

Ajax date Amelia and my date leo were actually cousins so it was kinda cool (oc characters)

"Remember all you have to do is talk to Xavier and Leo just need to impress another girl so y'all are good" Ajax reminded me as they all nodded "your right" I said we we continued walking

Today I need to get out of my comfort zone so I could talk to Xavier well I just felt like it was needed so I wore white instead of black

We all walked in as I saw everyone's eyes go towards me I saw a lot of guys smiling and looking towards me and some girls staring at my dress and talking to their friends

"You are gonna be fine" Leo reassured me as the other two walked away "look everyone thinks you look good because you aren't wearing black I even think you look good" he told me as I smiled "well thank you why don't we go sit down with a drink" I said as he nodded and we both walked away

I walked over to the drinks by myself as I saw Wednesday "I didn't think you were coming" I said as she looked at me and looked at me up and down "wow I can't even tell if your in my blood anymore" she said with sarcasm

"I needed to do something different I can't live in mother's imagination everyday can I?" I said she as nodded then we heard a sequel it was Enid

"Omg love the looks Wednesday you look gorgeous and y/n you look gorgeous too everyone is talking about you too about how good y'all looks of course" she told us as I laughed a bit

"Interesting choice of date tho" Enid told Wednesday as I looked she had came with

Tyler

"You came with Tyler a guy that doesn't go to this school and his dad is on our asses about father and this mystery we are gonna solve what have you gotten yourself into Wednesday" I said as I left going back to Leo

I placed the drinks down "every since you walked in Xavier hasn't taken his eyes off of you" Leo told me as I looked towards Xavier we made eye contact but he was quickly to take it away  "the time will come today oh and by the way who are you trying to impress" I asked as he looked over at a girl she was alone I guess she didn't have a date or I'm not sure tho

"Well I'm not trying to impress her I'm in the same situation you are I fucked up bad" Leo told me she was looking sad "well I think right now is your time to talk to her" I said as his attention rose up "you think but what about you" he asked "what about me you go talk to her figure things out I'm sure it will go good" I said as I smiled "thank you" Leo told me as he started walking her way there I was again alone.

"Goo goo Muck" by the cramps started playing I saw Wednesday and Tyler go up to the dance floor

She may of not shown it but she was having fun for once I had grabbed Enid hand as we both went on the dance floor Leo and his girl seamed to be doing good

Enid and I were dancing moving our body our hips but once certain pair of eyes were glued to me

The song had trailed off and Wednesday had gone somewhere I decided to follow her  "who ever invented heals sure did have a side Hustle for torture" Wednesday said as I walked behind her and beside her was Bianca I stood in front of the too

" as my dear mother always says,"fire tests gold suffering tests a woman". Bianca said as we all looked at each other "speaking of suffering, where's your date? I didn't see you and Xavier on the dance floor" I said as she looked at me "we had a little tiff. About you, actually." She said as she shook her head

"You don't know what it's like." Bianca told me "being beautiful and popular?"I asked her "never knowing peoples true feelings if someone likes me for me" Bianca told me as I brought up a chair next to them "what about your amulet?" I asked her as she looked at it "it's not foolproof. It's a mild prophylactic, so to speak. That's why Xavier broke up with me he could never fully trust me the worst part is I could never trust his feelings either.I never knew if they were real or not you are lucky" she told me as I looked down speechless "do tell." I said

"You don't care what people think of you." Bianca told me she was right "honestly, I wish I cared a little more." We both looked away from each other Wednesday had left

"Can I tell you something" I asked as I looked at her she nodded "I wish we could of started off a different way than hating each other" I told her as I got up and left leaving her

I was watching everyone dance while I felt little droplets I didn't think much of it until more started coming down of red paint I could tell the different between blood and paint I have studies blood multiple times and this was not it I kind of enjoyed it as everyone was running away I stood there with a slight smile on my face

I started walking away as I bumped into someone again but this time it was Xavier "oh it's you" he said as he was about to walk away I grabbed his arm

"Wait i want to talk to you" I said as he pulled his arm away "about what" he said "about how I truly feel about you how I actually like you and would love to be with you and how I want to explain everyone because I don't want to lose you" I said as I looked down "then go on" he said "can we take a walk "it was risky of me to ask but lucky he agreed we started walking

"That day at outreach that when we kiss it felt like my whole world was turning everything around me was gone it felt like it was only me and you and That other night when I had gone to your dorm I realized that I like you I like you a lot and i enjoyed that kiss so much Wednesday and I were never meant to go into your shack but Wednesday had gotten ahead of her self and I followed her I told her not to but she still did and I do care about you a lot you have changed me today I wore white to get out of my comfort zone so you could notice me so I could explain to you about everything" I told him as his eyes had warmed up to me we had stopped as he grabbed my hands "you really mean that" he said as I nodded looking at him directing to his eyes

They were sparkling and I could tell my were too but just looking at his face our faces had gotten closer by the second as our lips brushed onto to other

We kissed

As our bodies sunk into each other warmth of the Kiss we had let go as a tear rolled down my check his hand found it's way to my face as he brushed the tear off
