11．𝑤𝑜𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎 𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡

Wednesday had fallen asleep a bit after Enid had left I was going to tell her but I deiced not to and just to wait till she fell asleep

I put on a black over sized hoodie with a white crop top and black jean shorts under it but the hoodie covered it but you could still see that I was wearing shorts

I grabbed my backpack and put thing inside as I opened the door slowly ,making no sounds and headed to the Edgar Allan statue with was around the quad

I stepped in front of the statue and snapped twice as the crows wings went down and the statue but back showing the staircase that goes down leading to the hidden library

where the nightshades go

I walked down as I turned my flashlight on and taking thing out of my backpack "Try to find anything about Rowan's picture I have a feeling there is more" I told thing

Thing gave me thumbs up as I nodded and started looking at every book

There was a lot of information about the school, outcast, generations about outcast, and where it all began

"I'll have to come here more"  I whispered as I heard the statue of Edgar Allan move I quickly turned off my flashlight and hid in the shadows as I saw someone coming down I couldn't tell who it was until a bit of light coming from the outside showed on her face it was

Ms.Thornhill

Why would Ms.Thornhill be here?

when we asked her about the watermark she must of knew about this place too, I thought to myself as she started looking around

I moved slowly getting closer to her so I could see what she was looking for

I mean it seamed like she was looking for something

she was going through every book on the shelf trying to find something

The book I guess she was looking for She opened the book and ripped a page out as she looked around like someone was watching her

and I was

"Things are going as planned" She whispered as she left and I came out of hiding

"What was she looking for?" Someone asked behind me but I recognized the voice quickly it was Xavier

I turned around "I'm not sure that's what I am trying to find out" I said as he looked to the side then I saw it.

It was a scratch I walked closer to him "Xavier what happened" I said as i tried to put my hand to it "Ahh" Xavier said lightly

as he pushed my hand away "Nothing" he said as he covered it

I looked at him

" I can't lie to you" He said as he looked down

"Then what happened?" I asked but then I noticed the scratch started bleeding  "tell me while I clean it up" I said as I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the Library with thing behind us

"Where is your dorm?" I asked as his eyebrows raised up "Why?" He asked me

"So I can clean you up and plus if we went to my dorm Wednesday would wake up and slap the shit out of you" I said as he nodded and started walking in front of me taking me his dorm

We had gotten passed the dorm monitor so we were good.

He opened his door as I walked in looking around even tho I've been in his room before

"Go to the bathroom I gotta check for something backpack real quick" I made up a lie as he nodded I opened my backpack as thing got in and I closed it and walked to the bathroom

I got the water running on the sink as I stood beside him looking at the cut in the mirror I got a small towel and tired to wipe it when I realized I was short compared to him

"Damn you're tall" I said as he chuckled

As I sat on the counter making me able to reach since the counter was semi tall "So tell me what happened" I said as I damped the towel a bit washing out the blood

"I was drawing as usually but then.." He said as he stopped his sentence "The Hyde" I whispered "I'm sorry what did you say" he asked me "Nothing" I said as he nodded

Why did I say that what is a Hyde anyway

"And a claw came out at me a scratched me It has never happened before I didn't use my ability either way" He said as I just nodded

What did Xavier draw and why Hasn't he told me, I thought as I finished cleaning up his cut

"Thank you" Xavier said as he grabbed my waist "Your welcome I didn't want it to get infected" I told him as I placed my hands on his chest

I looked at him as he looked at me

staring into each other eyes we both leaning in as

we kissed again

We both sunk into the kiss but after one kiss came a lot more turning it to a make-out session his hands had wrapped around my waist as my arms wrapped around his neck pulling him closer

It went on for a while not too long tho as we both let go breathing heavily

he put his head into my neck "I'm glad I met you" He said as I blushed luckily he didn't see it  

"I Glad I met you too Xavier" I said as we both smiled I could tell he was smiling

After a few minutes I remembered I need to be at my dorm before Wednesday wakes up"I need to get back to my dorm" I told Xavier he nodded as he helped me down "can I walk you back to your dorm?" He asked

I looked up at him and smiled we walked out side of his room and passed the guards taking about everyone Radom on our way to my dorm

We finally reached the door I looked back at him "see you tomorrow?" I questioned he chuckled and nodded "see you tomorrow Addams"

I opened my door quickly as I heard Enid she was crying not loud enough to hear anyone

"Y/n?" she said as she wiped her tears "Where have you been?" She asked me "That's another question why are you crying?" I said as I walked over to her bed and sat down

like a mother trying to put her child to sleep

"Ajax didn't show up" She said as she started crying again putting her head into her pillow "He didn't?" I asked as she just nodded

"Enid, He's a god damn jerk if he didn't show up you deserve way better" I said as she turned back around looking at me

"You mean that?" She said wiping her tears with a slight smile

"Yeah of course I know we aren't the close but I still care for you and I would wish the best for you and Wednesday would too. You are her closet friend other then me .We might not show it but you mean a lot to us welcoming us into this school even tho we came so late into the semester" I told her with a smile on my face

"Thank you Y/n. You and Wednesday are my closet friends too" She said with a smile and I smiled back

"Now where were you?" She asked me as I quickly dropped the smile "No where All I think you need is some rest clear your mind and go to sleep" I said as I started rubbing her head and her eyes-lids fell shut and she fell asleep quickly

nothing feels better when after you cry and have the best sleep ever

I turned off her lamp and went to my bed taking thing out of my backpack and changing into pjs heading straight for bed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Word count 1340Edit November 3 2024
