As the bag from my head was removed we saw a group of people surrounding Wednesday and I with capes over their heads not showing their faces

You could most definitely tell who was under them.

"Who dares breach our inner sanctum?" Bianca's voice changes said

"You can take the mask off, Bianca" Wednesday said

"Y'all too Xavier, ajax, yoko, ..." i said as i started naming everyone there as they all took their mask and cape off of their heads and the lights that were flashing in our faces had turned off

"Wait, I preferred you with it on" I said as i looked her in the eyes her as in Bianca

"How did you guys get down here?" Xavier asked the both of us

" Rowan showed us" Wednesday said as she looked down signalling to her left pocket "left pocket " She said as Xavier came over to us and got a picture out of her left pocket.

It was the picture Rowans mother had drew when she went here of me and Wednesday

"I tracked the watermark to the Poe statue" I said "Then we solved the riddle" Wednesday finished my sentence as she looked at me

"Wait there is a riddle?I thought we just snapped twice." the kid who thing punched asked

"Well aren't you the brightest in the bunch" Wednesday said as i chuckled.

"The nightshades are an elite social club. Emphasis on elite " Bianca told us

"We have roof parties, campouts, the occasional midnight skinny-dip" Yoko said as they looked at each other

"And yoko's an amateur mixologist" Another one of the scales said didn't catch her name either but i remember her being in the Poe cup.

"She makes a killer virgin mojito it can get pretty wild" Ajax said as he nodded

"Wow do you guys even have a bedtime?" I asked with sarcasm

"Last I heard, the nightshades had been disbanded" Wednesday said

"Yeah, the group kind of lost its charter 30 years ago after some normie kid died" Xavier told us

Wednesday and I tunred to him and then turned to Yoko as she said "But we have a lot of wealthy alumi, so weems looks the other way as long as nobody makes any waves"

"Someone like Rowan?" I asked

"We booted that loser last semester" Bianca told us with a questioning look

" question is, what are we gonna do with them?" Bianca asked the rest of the nightshades looking for an answer "only members are allowed in this library" she said

"I say we invite them to pledge" Xavier said as he looked at me

"They are a legacy" he said as he pointed to a picture of mother and father is it true tho.

"After the crap they pulled in the Poe Cup, there is no way in hell We talk about not making waves? She's a tsunami" Bianca stated

"aww Bianca its okay to be a sore loser since your winning streak failed you" i said as I smirked at her

"Let me save you the trouble i'm not interested in joining" Wednesday said as she looked at me "But I am" I said as i looked back at her

"Wednesday you are seriously tuning us down but at least we have one of the Addams"Yoko said

"can you believe it"Wednesday said with sarcasms

" We freed ourselves five minutes ago" Wednesday and I said in sync as he held the rope up showing them.

Wednesday and I got up as she took the paper from Xavier and started walking as the guy with the black eye stood in front of her

"You better move out of her way or I will give you another black eye" I said as he moved away

"So Y/n why do you even want to join this club?" Bianca asked me as they all looked my way

"Well this library has a lot of secrets about my family that i am willing to find out either way why does it matter?" I asked

"And plus Yoko was surprised when Wednesday turned you guys down but we ll saw it coming shouldn't y'all be happy?" I said as i started walking around the library looking at the books

"Well welcome to the club as you know we are the nightshades don't tell anyone about this club or who is in it" Ajax told me as I nodded Bianca rolled her eyes as she said "your uniform will be here by tomorrow"

"Oh I don't care for that but if i have to where it i"ll take a size small" I said as I started walking up the stairs leaving the room with Xavier following me ••••••

"Hey wait up" he said as we reached the quad "Yes?" I said as i turned around

"You know you don't have to join right" he said as he put his hands in his pockets

"But i want to join can i not? Do you not want me to join?" I asked teasing him

"Oh don't worry i do cause now I am able to be around you more" Xavier said as he grabbed my waist pulling me closer to him

I grabbed his chin pulling it down to my face level and whispering into his ear

"If you want me so bad just said it Thorpe"

I smirked as i walked away leaving his speechless.••••••Wednesday shoved everything off her desk and left the pictures as I laid on my bed thinking about Xavier and Is interaction

Wednesday POV

There were so many threads to my investigation I could wave a burial shroud.I still have no idea on how Rowan mysteriously rose from the dead. Or why that monster is prowling the woods. But right now, nothing intrigues me more then this book If we are going to be responsible for Nevermore's demise, The question is why is Y/n and I sharing this apocalypse with a pilgrim

I stood beside Wednesday as she put the book down where the page was ripped out from it was the same exact spot where Joseph Crackstone was with Wednesday and I at the quad

Principle Weems clapped " All students will report for their volunteer jobs at 10:00 a.m. sharp, followed by a community lunch at 1:00. as you know, this year Outreach Day culminates in a very special event the dedication of a new memorial statue in the town square, which will also inclu performances by nevermore students as representatives of our school I trust you will all put your best face forward" She said giving us information as all of the teachers had gave out papers to everyone

Wednesday and I got one as Enid came up to us "Yes! I got pilgrim world I have natural people skills and a love of performing so it's kind of the obvi choice What did y'all get?" she asked us as we opened them

Wednesday got Uriah's head, which i didn't know what that was as I got The store Tyler works in . Weathervane the coffee shop

of course I did the one place that the person who is in love with my sister I will be helping out how fun, I thought to myself

Principle Weems had walked over to us as Enid left "Wednesday, don't worry about your cello I'll have it brought to the town square this afternoon" she said as i questioned

"My cello?" Wednesday asked

" I caught your rooftop serenade the other night. Impressive I volunteered you to accompany the Jericho high school marching band at the ceremony I'm sure it won't be too challenging to play an uplifting Fleetwood Mac Melody" Weems had said which almost made me laugh

she must be out of her mind putting Wednesday in a marching band, I thought to myself

"As long as you promise to hang me as a witch afterwards" Wednesday told her••••••Wednesday and I had walked out of the bus

We had saw Xavier and walked over to him "Why are you staring at a blank wall?" i asked as the three of us looked at a white blank wall

"It wasn't blank last outreach day" He told us

"Are you still stewing because I rejected your invitation" Wednesday asked him

"I don't know I did go out on a limb for you at least y/n joined" he told Wednesday as he looked towards me

"Oh please, I'm just canon fodder in whatever cold War your're waging with Bianca. I have more pressing issues"Wednesday said starting an argument

"like what?"

"tracking down the monster that killed your roommate"Wednesday said as i stood beside her

"For the last time Rowan was expelled everyone saw him leave" xavier said

"I thought you believed us you are switching now?" I asked him but didn't get no answer from him

"Have you spoken to him since?" I asked

"i texted him a few times. but I never heard back I just figured he wanted Nevermore in his rear view mirror. " Xavier told us

"Or he's dead" Wednesday replied

"I don't know why you guys care so much it's not like y'all knew the guy" Xavier said as he started walking away

"And I don't know why you care so little" I said as Wednesday and I started following him

"People can dismiss me and make a million other excuses, but I'm not gonna stop it" I said as Wednesday started pulling out her backpack

"Oh, great I guess you can add"thief" to your resume" Xavier said to Wednesday as the brought of the book from the library we discovered

"I don't know what the big deal is about an old nightsahde's journal anyways" he said as we stopped since Wednesday opened the book and showed him

" you didn't seem so surprised when I showed you this last night" Wednesday said which she wasn't wrong

"You've seen it before haven't you" i said as i put two and two together

"yeah. A couple days before the harvest festival it was opened on Rowans desk so i assumed he stole it after we kicked him out. then i confronted him about it and he kind of went ballistic on me " Xavier said

"He threw you onto the wall with his telekinesis" I said all of a sudden which i guess was true due to his facial expressions

"Yeah. How did you know that?" he asked him

"Not sure" I answered honestly

"it's weird that you guys are in this journal it's like what 30 years old and what the hell crack-stone doing in the picture too" he said as he started pointing to him

That's when it clicked crack-stone that's who is in the picture with us

"You know who that is?" Wednesday asked him

"Yeah its Joseph Crack-stone Jericho's founding father" I said out of the blue ••••••The three of us had walked over to where everyone was sitting

"Gather around everyone we have a special announcement" Principle Weems told us

"Welcome, welcome, nevermore academy' The mayor said

"Jericho's mayor" I whispered as Wednesday nodded

"Now on behalf of the entire Jericho community we are so pleased to have you all here today your generosity and hard work are truly... out outreachous" as he finished up

"Okay, everyone we'll see you back here at one o'clock for lunch. Enjoy!

Xavier and I started walking to weathervane

"So you are in the weathervane too?" Xavier asked well no shit he made me mad for not telling me about to photo

"No shit" I said as i smiled at him

"I"m sorry if i made you mad about the painting" He said to my as we stopped

"Sorry? A sorry is all I get you knew about a paper that can determine my future if I die or not and you didn't tell me about it and all I get is a sorry wow Xavier just wow " I yelled at him

"Well I didn't know if I should of told you either way you and Wednesday would of found it either way so you should't be mad at me" Xavier said as i rolled my eyes

"Not only am I mad at you but I am mad at having to work with Tyler so if I was you I would find a way to cheer me up or else I am going to lose my shit" I said as i took a deep breath and walked into weathervane meeting eyes with Tyler while Xavier was right behind me~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
