Chapter 35 (Niall pov)

Niall pov (😍)

  Two weeks I have been training. Two weeks I haven't seen her. I am more than ready for the fight tonight, to save her. Part of me is afraid to see her and her condition, but the other part is dying to hold her in my arms. I need to have her back and know that she is safe with me.

  During the two weeks without her, I have come to realize just how much I have fallen for her. Her long curly brown hair, her emerald green eyes that change with her mood, her smile that will light up the dullest of rooms, her adorable short height that contrast with her long tan legs. Beautiful inside and out, yet she doesn't seem to realize it.

  Interrupting me from my thoughts, the car halted to a stop as we arrived at the arena. I took a deep breath and stepped out of the vehicle. I closed my eyes in preparation as I approached the door. You could hear the roar of the cheers booming from inside. I walked through the door and was immediately bombarded with questions and cheers from the crowd.

  "Niall, where have you been?" "Niall over here!" "Is it true your fighting for a girl tonight?" "Niall's back!" 

  I smiled slightly, waving to the fans crowding the bleachers around the ring. I walked into the back room to get ready the cheers lowering once the door was closed. I sat on the bench, Harry rubbing my shoulders, Liam strapping on the boxing gloves to my hands, Zayn was getting me water and Louis stayed home with Olivia and Megan, not wanting them to witness the fight. 

  Zayn walked back into the room with a bottle full of water in his hand. "They're here." His eyes were glossy and I furrowed my eyebrows curiously. "Where are they?" He shook his head. "You might not want to see." He whispered low. "Where are they?" I asked more forcefully this time, hinting that I was getting annoyed. "D-down the hall. F-first room on t-the left." His voice was shaky and that scared me to death. Zayn was not the type to show this kind of emotion and if he felt like this, I was afraid to see her condition.

  I shoved Harry's hands away, slipping the gloves off and stomping to the door. I made my way down the seemingly endless hallway and banged furiously on the first door to the left. Josh opened the door. When his eyes met my angry ones, a smug smirk plastered itself across his face.

  "Horan. Here to check out your competition?" "Where is she?" I growled.

  He turned around and I heard muffled whispering before he stepped aside and fully opened the door. I stepped inside and my heart sank to the ground, anger filling its place. I walked quickly over to her practically limp body, caressing her cheek carefully. She looked so broken, tired, worn. Nothing like vibrant self. Her face was covered in cuts and bruises and it was so much thinner than her adorable round cheeks. She was so fragile and weak, it made me sick to think of what he has done to her. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was shallow and steady. Thankfully.

  I bit my lip to keep my growl in and turned to see Dana and Ashley Caroline looking up at me with hope glinting in their eyes. I half smiled at them and their eyes glistened with happy tears. 

  "You will pay." I growled deeply at Mark before being shoved out of the door and back into the hall. 

  I made my way back to my room where the boys were waiting for me. I let them get back to what they were doing previously, my mind wandering back to her broken figure. My heart ached at the thought of her getting hurt and beaten down to nothing. Liam looked at me sympathetically as he strapped my gloves back on. I closed my eyes willing the image to leave, but that just made it even worse. Harry patted me on the shoulder. "It's time."

  This is it.
