  "I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun

Wait by the door and light a cigarette

He slapped my face and he shook me like a rag doll

  I groaned rolling over to slap the snooze button, only to find out that my phone was making the racket. I rubbed my eyes to clear up the vision before checking the caller I.D. 'Mom' displayed on the screen as the ringtone continued to blare. I slid the green button across placing the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" I answered tiredly. I heard a deep sigh of relief. "Where in the world are you?! Why didn't you come home? It's been two days!" I slung my legs off the side of the bed in the unfamiliar room. "I know mom. I'm sorry. I truly am." I heard her sigh heavily again. "When will you be coming home?"

  I pondered this for a moment. Will I ever get to go home? Will I ever see my family again? My mom? My grandma? Anyone? Tears brimmed in my eyes blurring my vision at the thought of never being able to see my mom again. 

  "I don't know, mom." I whispered out, trying my hardest to contain the sobs threatening to overcome me. "I don't know." I whispered again mostly to myself this time. "You need to come home soon. Don't think your off the hook either young lady." I smiled half heartedly as a few tears managed to escape my eyes and slide down my cheeks. "I'll try my hardest.""Oh, before you go, is Megan and Olivia with you? Their mothers called me last night saying they never came home." "Yeah, they're with me.""Are you safe?"

  I sighed as a couple more tears made their way over my skin. I took a shaky breath and slowly let it out. Was I really safe? Could they really keep me safe from the men they say are after us?

  "I think so.""Stay safe. I love you my baby girl." I smiled while biting my lip to hold back the sobs. "I love you too, mom." I heard the long flat tone signaling that she hung up. I pulled the phone away from my face slowly before placing it face down on the table. Tears fell down my round cheeks as I stood from the bed slowly. I turned my head around to find Megan still sleeping and Olivia facing towards the wall.

  I took another shaky breath trying to control myself before stepping out of the room. A few sobs escaped before I quickly composed myself, wiping away the dried tears that stained my cheeks hastily. I'm sure you can tell I've been crying, but I honestly don't care anymore. I think I'm officially stuck here. Maybe even for good. I guess I won't ever really know until all of this mess ends. If it ends.

  I sighed placing my hand on the doorknob, being as quiet as I could as I left the room and shut the door behind me. I headed down the stairs, trying to make little noise before stepping into the living room. I saw two people facing away from me on the couch, but neither of them were Niall.

  "Where's Niall?"
