Chapter 16

  We finally arrived at an old log house that was located deep in the woods just as Niall had described.

  I started to shift nervously as I got out and Harry knocked on the old wooden door. I looked back to see Megan and Olivia doing the same right behind me. I heard the sound of the door creak as it opened, causing me to turn back around.Standing in the doorway was a tall figure. He had dazzling blue eyes and shaggy brown hair that swept over his eyes. Tattoos covered his arms and I could see a few in the dim light on his neck. A leather jacket clung to his muscular body.

  "What brings you all the way out here?" He asked Niall, who stood beside me on the second step. "They found Harry's place." He narrowed his eyes and nodded, opening the door all the way to let us in. He smirked slightly as Olivia stepped through the door. "Are the others coming?" Harry nodded and took a seat on the couch.

  I still stood with the girls by the door unsure of where we should go when Niall sat beside Harry.

  "Come here." I heard Niall call out to us. My feet unwillingly led me over to Niall. He smirked as I stood in front of him nervously. "Sit. I won't bite. Hard." He trailed off at the end making me roll my eyes and turn so my back side faced him as I sat down beside him. Before I could, I felt arms wrap tightly around my waist pulling me down onto his lap. I gasped slightly in surprise and turned my head in anger to face him. "I didn't mean over there, darlin'." He smirked at me as I narrowed my eyes at him, groaning loudly.

  I really wanted to just give in and lay my back against his toned, hard chest, rest my head against his shoulder as his arms wrapped protectively around my waist. I wanted to feel his heartbeat against my back. The feeling of being safe wanted to take over and let me do that, but I restrained myself.

  I sat straight with my arms crossed and he unraveled his arms from my waist. He placed his hands on my sides as he leaned around my body to try to look at my face, but I turned away. "Come on now, darlin', don't be like that." I could picture the smirk plastered across his smug face as he spoke.

  I looked over to see Megan sitting uncomfortingly close to Harry, but by his side instead of stuck on his lap. Olivia on the other hand was taking well to Louis. She sat rather comfortably on his lap with her back against his chest and her head on his shoulder.  I sighed longingly, looking at them before my common sense came back and I rolled my eyes again.

  I felt Niall's fingers dig into my side as he began to tickle me ferociously. I squirmed trying to keep the smile off my face. A giggle escaped my lips as he continued. I burst into laughter trying to free myself from him. He smiled wide and his eyes lit up. "St-stop I-it." I said in between breaths from laughing so hard.  "Only if you sit with me like them." He smirked and I saw him looking at Louis and Olivia. I shook my head, still laughing. He continued relentlessly and pain shot through my stomach and sides from laughing so hard. "F-fine." He quickly stopped and I caught my breath looking at him with narrowed eyes.

  "You have an adorable laugh." His voice was soft and soothing as he spoke with a smile across his face. It seemed almost genuine. "Thanks." I could feel my cheeks go a slight tinge of pink with his words.

  He wrapped his arms around my stomach and I reluctantly laid back against his chest. It was hard, yet soft and comforting at the same time. I laid my head back against his shoulder and he looked over at me smiling. I felt soft lips place lightly to my temple lingering for a moment.

  "You should go to sleep darlin', it's been a long day for you." I smiled and felt extremely exhausted from today's events deciding to take Niall's advice and let sleep take over me.
