Chapter 8

Sophie's POV

I watch as we all just sit there in silence.

"So Cap. I never heard of you having a daughter?" I say breaking the silence.

"Yea well.... She has been tested on until last year. when Fury sent me on a mission to bring her back. I did as I was told until I heard her name. It is the same name I picked out." He says

"oh.... And You?" I say facing Clint.

"Well. This little trouble maker here has a mutant as her mother. So that is where her other powers come from. But her mother died after the birth so Sheld has taken care of her since." He says and I watch as Quiver's eyes turn back purple.

"Ok." I say not knowing why else to say.

"What about you?" Ravin says

"me?!" I say surprised and a little scared.

"Yea. You." Quiver says

Wow! She has a really soft voice!

"Well.... You see..." I student and I see that Bruce is siting straight up on his chair looking at me with a 'what is it' face.

"It is a long story." I simple say and then get up and walk out of the room. As soon as I hit the hall I make a portal back to my room and jump in it.

I will never tell.

Time skip.

I wake up and see Bruce on the side of my bed. Wow. Someone is acting like a dad.

"What?" I ask

"Well yesterday it seemed you were a little shy I just wanted to see if maybe you wanted to talk about something?" He says

"What did you read How to be a parent over night? Or something?" I say joking around.

"No I just know when someone is troubled and you are." He says

"No I am not." I say

Then he looks at me with one of those really faces.

"Look not every one can talk! You of all people should know that!" I say starting to cry.

"Not every one can control their powers! Not every one has a responcability that big on their chest! And no one has to be worried because their powers could kill a city!!" I say now crying.

"This May surprise you but... I do." He says

"Yea. Well there is a difference! You grew up with people! I grew up HIDEN FROM THE WORLD! HIDEN BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE AFFRID OF ME!" I cry and see my hair start to turn silver.

"Forget it." I say and get up then lock myself in my bathroom.

"Wait! Sophie." He says and pound on the door.

Then I make a portal to the woods and jump in.
