Chapter 6

” Come here, I need your help! Please babe, come fast! ” Alexis says, crying.

” We’re coming ” I say, hanging up. ” Girls, Alexis is in trouble. She’s crying, I don’t know what happen, but that doesn’t sounds great ”. I continue, talking to Perrie, El and Danielle. 

They didn’t say anything, we just get in my car and go. We arrive and Alexis is there, with her car… all dirty. 

” Oh god! What happen to your car babe? ” Danielle asks her.

” I don’t know! I just get out and… and it was like that. ” Alexis answers, still crying.

I hug her tight, and I pull away to look at the car. There was cake, a broken window, a smashed door and, and a letter! I take it and read it aloud for the girls to hear.

” Hi love. It’s me, again. I know it’s not your friend’s birthday, but we wanted to make her a beautiful cake. Hope it taste good! It’s just the beginning, you’ll have so many sweets x. ” I read.

” Oh no. Not that bitch again. ” Perrie says.

” It seems like it’s not dedicated to Alexis, but to you. ” Eleanor says to me.

I take my head in my hands, exasperated. 

” I’ll pay the reparations for this. That’s my fault. You can take my car when you need it. ” 

” Avy, it’s not your fault if that bitch hates you. She did it cause i’m your best friend. She knows it would hurt you. ” Alexis explains. 

” Whatever… ” 

” I’ll call the police. ” Danielle tells us. 

She goes a little further and call. We get in my car and stay there, waiting for the police to come. Danielle gets in. 

” Okay girls, don’t be so boring! ” Dani exclaims, turning on the radio. 

And it’s C’mon c’mon. I can’t help but start to dance on that song. 

” Yeah, I’ve been watching you all night! There’s something in your eyes! Say c’mon c’mon and dance with me baby! ” We all sing.

Then, the police arrive, just in the moment where we’re all dancing like crazy. We just laugh and get out of the car. It was the same police that earlier, at my apartment. 

” Hi Mrs Alden. What happened this time? ” The tall one asks me. 

” The same person than earlier did this to my friend’s car. I know that because there was a letter on it ” I answer, pointing Alexis’s car.

” Can I see the letter? ” The other one asks with a serious face. 

I nod and give it to him. He read it quickly and look at me again.

” Obviously, that’s the same person. It becomes serious, that stuff, we’ll do what we can. ” He replies.

” Scuse me? We’re like in danger! I hope you take it seriously! ” Alexis exclaims, upsets. She’s a bit rude when something is bothering her. 

” Yes, Mrs. Keep your calm, please. We’ll find out who did this. ” The taller one says, looking at Alexis angrily. 

She sighs and they go, with the second letter. 

” It’s getting late. Let’s go buy a hot chocolate and go home. ” Eleanor says, with her comforting voice.

At her flat, we don’t really talk about what happened, we just all put on a pajamas and drink our hot chocolate, while watching The notebook. We’re all crying like babies at the end. Dani and I are cuddling because we’re crying, Alexis is cuddling with El and Perrie. 

” I think I’ll go sleep, I’m so tired! ” Dani says, yawning.

” Yeah me too. ” Perrie says. 

” Where are we going to sleep? ” Alexis asks El.

” Hmm.. Avery and you can sleep in the friend’s room. Danielle will sleep with me, and Perrie on the couch. Is it okay Perrie? ” 

” No problem! ” She answers.

” Goodnight girls! ” I say.

Alexis and I walk in the friend’s room. There’s a queen bed, so we’ll sleep together. Alexis fall asleep in five minutes, like always. But I can’t sleep. I can’t help but think about the letters we received. What the fuck I did? I just wanna know before something else happen. That person maybe want me to die. Oh god… Then all become black. All I can see is Niall, beside me. I try to give him a hug but when I move, he moves back. But he doesn’t moves his legs! 

” Niall! What are you doing? ” 

No answer. There’s no smile on his face, he’s so much serious. What is happening?! I run, run and run to try to touch him. But I just can’t. I start to cry but then I hear like a distant voice.

” Avery! Avery! Wake up! You’re having a nightmare babe! ” 

I open my eyes and see Alexis shaking me, trying to wake me up. My forehead is sweating and i’m out of breath. 

” Calm down and breath. It’s the morning now. ” Alexis informs me.

” What time is it? ” 

” It’s 9 ‘o’ clock ”. 

I get up and drink water before I take a shower. When I get out, all the girls are up.

” Morning! Are you okay? You’re so pale! ” Perrie says, looking worried. 

” Yeah, it’s just… I had a nightmare. ” I answer, still searching my breath. 

” Go outside, take some fresh air.  ” Dani advises me.

I go outside and take a deep breathe. It’s so good to breath fresh air. I close my eyes and think about Niall to calm down. My thoughts are interrupted by Alexis, who puts a hand on my shoulder.

” Let’s take breakfast, just us two. ” She says, smiling.

I let her drive to great breakfast restaurant, where we eat. After we go at our flat, to relax. Alexis go on her laptop while I text with Niall, who’s sending much of cute messages because I had a bad dream.

When I’ll be there I’ll hold you so tight in my arms just to reminds you I’ll always be yours. You’re my little cake

” OH THAT BITCH! ” Alexis shouts.

” What? Who? ” I asks, walking to her.

” Come see by yourself. ” She answers, showing me a picture of Harry and a girl… hand in hand. 

” Oh god. ”
