Chapter 3

Still in Niall’s P.O.V

” What happened? ” I ask.

” Paparazzi. We’re going to the girl’s flat, right now. ” Harry answers.

I can’t believe paparazzi is already aware about our relations with Alexis and Avery. They’re not even our girlfriends yet! Harry drives to their apartment and we knock on the door. When Alexis opens it, I immediately saw Avy crying on the couch. Oh no, please! It’s all my fault! I sit next to her. Harry and Alexis let us alone and go in another room. 

” Hey babe, it’s me. ” I say.

” Niall? Sorry. ” She says, wiping her tears.

” Oh no, don’t be. I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. ”

” Why, why do you say that? ” 

” Paparazzi follow me everywhere. So, if you weren’t my friend, they wouldn’t write about you. ” I say, eyes full of tears. ” Can I know what they said about you? ” I continue.

She gives me a magazine.

” Page 4. ” She says. 

I look at the cover of the magazine, it’s a picture of Harry, Alexis, Avery and I, walking to the Starbucks. It’s written ” Harry and Niall have new girlfriends? Read page 4 for more!”. They are so fast! I go to page 4, and read. 

This afternoon, we saw Harry Styles and Niall Horan with unknown girls. Looks like they came out of the cinema. Are they their girlfriends? If so, they could have chosen better! We’re still looking for more information!

Can’t believe my eyes. They are so mean! I drop the magazine and hold Avy tight for a long time. I just don’t feel like letting her go. I can’t help but start to cry. 

” Niall? Are you crying? ” She asks me, pulling me away.

” No… ” I say, trying to hide my tears. 

She just smiles and wipes my tears with her thumb. Harry and Alexis come back. 

” We have something to tell you. ” Alexis says. 

We look at them, waiting.

” We are together. ” Harry admits. 

Avery runs and hugs Alexis, then hugs Harry.

” Don’t hurt my friend, because you’ll face me! ” She says to Harry. 

” Promise! ” Harry answers while laughing because she’s small. 

Then, we all start to laugh. The girls invite us to stay for the night, so we accept. I bet I’ll sleep on a couch tonight! 

Avery’s P.O.V

After we invited the guys to stay for the night, Harry get a call. 

” Hey, Paul! … Yeah, we’re with friends, why? … Oh, okay, we’ll be there. Bye! ” Harry answers. He hang up his phone. ” Niall and I need to go. We’ll be back in an hour. We have an interview, with the rest of the boys.   ” Harry explains us. 

They hug us and they leave.

” Why didn’t he kiss you? ” I ask Alexis. 

” It’s too fast. And I want our first kiss to be unforgettable. ” She answers.

I nod and smile to her. I decide to go take a shower, and then get changed. When I get out of the shower, I take a sweatpants and a shirt. When I came back in the living room, Alexis is watching the TV.

” Shhhh! ” She says, with her finger on her mouth

I sit next to her, and watch the TV. It’s One direction’s live interview. 

Interviewer: (Holding this afternoon magazine) I think fans want answers?

Harry: This was this afternoon. We went to see a movie and we walked to the Starbucks.

Interviewer: But who are these girls ?

Harry: The girl next to me is my girlfriend. I won’t say her name, because I don’t know if she want me to. For the person who wrote the article, these girls are beautiful. Don’t say the opposite.

Niall: I have feelings for the girl next to me, but we’re taking our time. Harry’s right, they are beautiful. Look at their eyes! You can’t say they’re not beautiful. 

Then, the interviewer changes the subject. 

” Did you heard the same thing that I have? ” I ask Alexis, shocked.

” Yeah, I think. They are so nice and cute and amazing and beautiful in every way! ” Alexis exclaims. 

There are fifteen minutes left before the lads come back. So we decide to be insane and turn on the radio. Take me home starts to play and we’re singing and dancing like crazy.

Then the lads open the door, and they see us. Alexis and I look at each other and just start to laugh out loud, Harry and Niall join us. 

” Thank you for what you said, boys. ” I thank them. 

” You watched the interview? ” Niall asks.

” Yes, and we’re really grateful. ” Alexis answers.

Harry and Niall smile. Then Alexis and Harry decide to go sleep. Niall and I we’re alone, so we just go in my room after he put on his pajamas…
