{Chapter 23}

It took me awhile to get dressed for the show. Tonight was a celebration party for Wolfe Industries selling their top two number one. I had known about it for a week now and two days ago I asked Liam to be my date to the party. So here I was getting dressed while Nadia went on and on about how I was out living life while she still read Fanfiction and dreamed.

"Ask Harry out!" I suggest, she lets out a sigh.

"He's actually coming over tonight to stay over, in meaning pack a bag because your not coming home tonight." I mentally groan but force a smile as I finish my hair.

"Perfect! I'll pack now," so I go to my room while she cleans the apartment. I throw a sweat shirt and sweat pants in a small bag along with my UGGS, my glasses and laptop, plus laptop charger. I was blind but I wore contacts because I hated my glasses. It made me look like a geek and it gave me headaches.

When I was finished I got a text from Liam telling me he was here. So I grab my things, my purse- double checking I had money in there for a hotel and taxi- then bid a fair well to Nadia and leave.

"Oh my, God! You look breath taking," Liam States and I blush as I take my seat.

"Thanks, not bad yourself!"

"Where is this party at?"

"My work on the top floor, I hear it has this perfect view and all that. It's where they hold all their parties," he nods and we carry small talk until we get there.

There was flashing lights and blaring music on the top floor. You could hear it from the parking lot. "Ready?" Liam asks and I nod and I go to get out but Liam stops me then runs over to open the door for me. He reaches in and takes my hand in his, we both walk hand-in-hand into the building.

I didn't know if we were together or what but I loved the feeling I got around Liam. "So would this count as a second date?" I ask him as we make our way to the elevator.

"If you'd like, I didn't think you'd want to go on another date with me," he tells me and I don't know how to feel.

"Oh..." I trail off.

"I want it to be though, I like you. Like more than a friend, Larissa!"

I smile big, "I like you more than a friend too, Liam!" We both ride the elevator to the top floor and when the doors open were blasted with music and people that work for the magazine side of the company and the rest are the models. I see Mr. Wolfe with his wife in the corner talking to a couple of business men. I see Tuesday talking with a few other models and Zayn talking to a few guys beside her. "Hey Tuesday!" I give her a side hug and I feel underdressed compared to the models here.

"Hey, you made it! Who's your date?" She asks and I turn around and motion towards Liam. "Hey Li," Tuesday gives him a hug. "Zayn over there talking to a few guys if you wanna hang with him."

"Okay, you okay babe?" Liam asks me so only I could hear.

"Uh, yeah!" I lie faking a smile.

"Okay, I'll be with Zayn. Come over in a few, please?" I nod and he walks over to Zayn.

"Larissa this is Cameron, Page and Emma! Guys, this is Larissa. You guys have seen each other around correct?" I nod and fake a smile to all of them. They all looked over dressed while I stood around in a dress that you would probably wear to a wedding or to the first day of school.

A guy walks by with a platter of wine glasses on it full of wine. I take one and swirl it around before taking a sip. I loved it! "So, how are you liking the job?" Emma I think asks me.

"It's great, I feel a little under dressed right now though!" I tell them truthfully.

"Are you kidding me? You look gorgeous, I love the dress! Have you met Mr. Wolfe's wife?" Page asks me and I shake my head no.

"I'll take her!" Cameron beams and takes my hand, dragging me over to where Mr. Wolfe was. "Afternoon, Mr. Wolfe! Is your wife around by any chance?" I'd seen her around the office once in a while for the past week. She organizes all the parties that are held, so it wasn't that I didn't know who she was but we had never met. Only see each other and send a friendly smile to the other and carry on with our days. I never thought I would actually have to interact with with her.

"She's over talking with Mrs. Chance about the up coming party next Friday," he tells Cameron without a second glance. Weird, normally he gave everyone his full attention. Then again Cameron rudely interrupted him.

I'm being dragged again, this time Cameron is patient and we stand there like lost puppies till Mrs. Wolfe is done talking with Mrs. Chance. "How can I help you Cameron?" Mrs. Wolfe asks with a friendly tone. Almost heart warming.

"This is Larissa, she is also a model!" Mrs. Wolfe's smile brightens.

"Oh! I've seen you around, my husband talks very much about you. You have such a bright future, let me introduce myself. I'm Charity Wolfe, Philips wife and Cameron's mom!" Wait, mom?!? Cameron's mom is Mrs. Wolfe?

"Wait, Cameron this is your mom?" I ask almost wanting to spit out the wine in my mouth but I forcefully swallow it down trying not to choke.

"Yeah, yeah! I know Mr. Wolfe is my stepdad," she says rolling her eyes. So stepdad?

"Me and her dad are divorced, never mind that." Mrs. Wolfe says.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Mrs. Wolfe! I've heard plenty nice things about you," I smile and she nods.

"Oh, Hun, call me Charity!" I nod then me and Cameron bit a goodbye and we leave back over to our circle of friends? I wouldn't call them friends.... Well, I was friends with Tuesday. Acquaintances? Maybe.

After a while of talking, and five glasses of wine, I make my way over to Liam. "How is it going?" I ask praying he's having a great time.

"It's going great! What about you?"

"Could be better, I'm kinda bored." I say simply and he nods.

"Your not use to these type of things?"

"Nope, but you are!"

A slow song starts playing and I let out a sigh. "Wanna dance?" Liam asks and I want to say yes but instead I freeze.

"Uh, umm, nah..." I say instead.

"Why not?" He asks and I'm scared to tell him.

"I don't know how?"

"Just follow after me," he leads me over to the middle where few couples are dancing and he wraps my arms around his neck and then puts his arms around my waist. At first I'm scared and we dance stiff like till I get use to it and I lay my head on his shoulder as we dance. We dance through three songs before taking a seat because my feet hurt.

"I'm ready to go when you are," I whisper to Liam. He nods and stands up.

"Hey, Zayn were going to go!" Liam tells Zayn. Zayn nods and I stand up grabbing my handbag then telling the girls bye and then telling Mrs. Wolfe bye.

"Hey, could you guys take me home? I would drive but I'm not old enough." Cameron asks and Liam shrugs.

"Sure, come on!"

"Thanks," we head over to the elevator and I fight to stay awake. When were in the elevator I lean against the wall, my feet were aching.

"Want me to carry you, babe?" Liam asks oh so sweetly.

"Umm, no. I'm to heavy," I tell him and he shakes his head.

"None sense," the door opens and he sweeps me off my feet and starts carrying me out to his car. Cameron is giggling while I'm struggling to get down.

"Liam Payne! Put me down!" I screech but he doesn't.

"No!"

"You guys are the most cutest couple ever," Cameron says as Liam puts me down beside the car.

"Umm were not together." I tell her and she laughs.

"Yeah, sure." But we weren't together. When were buckled and Cameron tells Liam where she lives. We listen to music while talking. "This is my stop!" She states, "Thanks again!! See you Monday, Larissa!" I nod and she gets out and heads inside the house.

"Now to drop you off home," Liam tells me then pulls out.

"Actually just drop me off at a hotel or something. Nadia's having a friend staying over and told me not to come home," I tell Liam.

"Oh, then you can stay at my flat. If it's okay with you," he tells me.

"Umm, sure! You sure it's not to much trouble?"

"No," I nod and he drives to his house. I try to pay attention to street names and buildings hoping I could find out where he lived.

Thai is the longest chapter I've wrote on here! Am I right or am I right? Haha

Do you guys ever hear a song and your just like that's my jam and you listen to it 24/7 till you can't listen to it anymore? Yeah that's me right now. I keep listening to this one song over and over.
