"Could global idol group EXO be on the verge of disbandment?"
A few of the members gathered around the TV to watch the news about last night. As expected, the sudden cancellation of their TV appearance caused a huge fuss. Because of this, they were all ordered to stay in the dorms of the SM complex, which were usually occupied by the staff and some trainees.
"... their reason for the sudden cancellation remains undisclosed but fans speculate that the group is still under hit from the rape incident..."
"Why are we here? Sehun might go back there." Chanyeol said.
"I feel like a prisoner." Kris sulked.
"It's SME that ordered to this this time, okay. Which I think is good." Sara continued to tap on her phone.
"What do you mean 'it's SME this time'? Aren't we under SM this whole time?" Suho's perfect forehead crumpled.
Chen glanced at Sara who seemed to be caught off guard by Suho's question. Sara answered something like "of course" and went out to confer with some of the staff. They were all brought there in secret, like fugitives in their own country. As if the fans would never know that they aren't in their dorm anymore.
"Hey Chen. Isn't this about time that you told us what happened to you? Sehun is missing now and a little info from you might help find him." Xiumin now spoke up, feeling the gravity of the situation.
Chen shook his head, a little too annoyed of being asked over and over again.
"I just decided to go somewhere and it's none of your business. Sehun's situation is completely different." Chen answered monotonously.
"Don't lie to us. Gosh." Luhan felt frustrated in all of this.
"We all have secrets, Luhan. And they are kept for a lot of reasons."
Everybody fell silent when Kai spoke. They all knew he was right. EXO itself has its own secrets on what everybody did to get them where they are. The whole entertainment industry holds so many secrets on the real standard for fame or even on who gets to debut first or who gets the most lines. Secrets are what make the world interesting and secrets are what can destroy everything.
"Maybe she's... I mean Jessica is..." Lay swallowed, tasting the bitterness in his mouth in saying her name for the first time.
"Maybe all that has happened to us... the scandals... the disappearances... they were made by fans that supported Jessica..." Lay continued.
All of them looked anywhere but each other as it all made sense to them in a very painful and haunting way. They all have tried to escape her and the truth that something bad, evil even had happened to her. More so, the possibility that they may have been involved in it is just too much to bear. How could they tell the police why Lay, Luhan, Chanyeol, Kai and Suho went missing for a few hours and came back with dirt all over them? How can they explain when none of them remember a thing?
"Isn't it time that we came clean?" Luhan said while pacing back and forth, "Something happened to us in that forest while the crime was being committed and it could help solve the whole case."
"Putting ourselves in the scene of the crime without any plausible alibi is even more dangerous," Chanyeol argued, but too weak to even get up from the couch.
"Andrea..." Baekhyun seemed to be deep in thoughts too.
"What about Andrea?" Chen asked a little too defensively for no reason.
"Isn't she suspicious? Too clean, too careful. Ever since she came, a lot of things happened to us... what if she's one of those people who supported Jessica?"
Baekhyun wandered too dangerously around the truth that Chen got a lot more alert in diverting the topic. Even though he didn't have to protect Andrea (and he has no reason to do so), he felt the need to do it to save them all from what could happen had they known the truth prematurely. He can easily tell them all that it was Andrea who kidnapped him and most probably Sehun too. But unless he is assured that Luhan and the rest are safe, he can't take any chances.
"You must not forget that Andrea was attacked too." The troll said.
"Don't defend your little girlfriend." Kris smirked, "We are idols who are trained to control our emotions in public. Andrea definitely is well practiced."
"She's not-" Chen was cut off by a loud bang on the window.
Xiumin and DO went over to see what it was and realized it was just a pigeon. The scene ended the argument about Andrea but never killed it. A few of them talked about it more and some went back to thinking where Sehun could be. And one of them is silently rejoicing that the group is falling apart in front of his eyes.

"Tif, get me Henry. I need to talk to him."
Andrea walked into her office quickly, surprising some of her employees who haven't seen her in a couple of weeks. Her sudden appearance in La Bella caused some chaos as the boss will most probably demand miracles that, if not done, will cost them their jobs. Savage.
"Sir Henry said he's on his way to the office."
When Tiffany said this, Andrea looked at her with an eyebrow raised. Her secretary is irreplaceable but she should stop making excuses for others. If she wants to succeed, she must only watch her own back and not mind the others.
"Tiffany, I ask you again to get Henry. If you have to go to his house to wake him up, do so. I am your boss, too. So do as I say."
"But... Y--Yes, ma'am." Tiffany turned around to go out.
"And," Andrea spoke, stopping her secretary from going out of the door, "How the hell did Mirae get a job? I thought I specifically told you to blacklist her?"
Andrea looked at Tiffany intently, not wanting any lie to come out of her mouth. It was already annoying that someone is after her and knowing that her secretary is starting to weaken is just too much.
"Ma'am I... She's my friend..."
"Remember this, Tiffany. There are no friends in this industry. You have allies, connections but never friends. Now go get Henry before I decide to end my connection with you."
Tiffany was shaken as she went out of Andrea's office. She's already been used to her boss's mood but at that particular time, something else scared her. Her boss isn't stupid.
When her secretary left, Andrea fell back on her chair and closed her eyes. Why isn't everything going smoothly according to her plans? Something else is happening which turns everything she has done against her. And she doesn't like one bit of it.
And now that Sehun is gone, she feels responsible for it even though she has nothing to do with it.
She reached for her purse and fished out her phone from it when a piece of paper fell out. She stared at it for a few seconds, trying to remember if she put it in there. When she finally decided to pick it up, her heart started to race. She opened it slowly and gasped as she read what was written on it.
Andrea is starting to forget
Andrea put the paper on her desk and but her eyes were glued on it. Forgetting is something she can never do and as she welcomed the inevitable rush of memories, her wounds started to bleed again.
She walked home on her own after a whole day of working in her dress shop. Her shoulders ached from hours of slouching on her table and sewing clothes. But never for once did she think of just giving up. She had a sister to feed and she'll do anything to provide for her.
The alley she often took was a little darker that night with the absence of the moon above. Her heels clicked, though a bit muffled, on the asphalt road. She could hear a faint sound of a radio playing an old song through the night.
Try to remember the kind of September when life was so slow and oh so mellow...
The young woman turned to a noise from behind her and found nothing but a cat that ran away immediately. She hugged herself and walked a little faster, ignoring the stiffness of her legs that she's got from pedaling. The song got a little louder as she walked through the seemingly endless alley.
Try to remember when life was so tender that no one wept except the willow...
"An..d...rea..."
She halted at the mention of her name. It was said in such a way that every sound in it was heavily pronounced... like the voice itself had held her feet and stopped her. She tried to take another step but before she could even do it, she heard footsteps coming from behind her.
"Please no..." She started to sob.
The coldness in the air kept her eyes dry as she took slow steps forward. Lately, she has gotten gifts anonymously which was nice at first. But then the carnations were replaced by pictures of her in her shop... of the shampoo she used... of a dress she has been missing...
She bolted into a dash as she felt eyes on her... and a pair of feet running after her. Unfortunately, her legs gave in and her knees met the asphalt, scraping the skin painfully under the skirt of her dress. She tried her best to stand up but her heels made it difficult to find her balance.
Try to remember the kind of September when you were a tender and callow fellow...
He caught her, held her tight with one arm and took a knife from his jacket with his free hand. He smelled her hair and seemed to get intoxicated by it. He stood her up, very much aware of how her body shook in fear upon seeing him. He felt a lot more excited because of it.
Deep in December it's nice to remember although you know the snow will follow...
He pressed her on the wall, letting her see the blue in his eyes. It's a pure one without any hint of green. The knife was pressed on her cheek... om her throat... and had wandered on her collar bone, slowly going further than her coat allowed. He put a finger on her lips to silence her sobs.
Tears fell from her eyes as he took his time touching her... as if memorizing every single curve in her body. She silently prayed that someone would walk by and notice them and save her. But more than that, she wished to go home to her sister who is probably so worried about her.
"Stop..." She silently pleaded.
"You are mine..." He smirked at the tears and kissed them away, "I love you."
Deep in December it's nice to remember without the hurt the heart is hollow...
She sobbed as the last ounce of innocence was taken from her. No one saved her. Not even her parents who had left her alone with her sister. Not even the angels she believed. No one.
Deep in December it's nice to remember the fire of September that made us mellow...
She walked away alive, with bruises and blood on her thighs. He left her with a promise that he'll be back to get her and take her away. Her body ached... her throat had a straight cut from which a single trail of crimson flowed. When she arrived home, she knelt quietly by her sister sleeping in the couch. She watched her for a while, without saying anything.
She cleaned herself up, put bandage on her wounds, and went to bed. She never slept ever since.
Deep in December our hearts should remember and follow.
Andrea's eyes watered but she was quick to hold them back. She remembered telling the police about what happened to her but nothing happened with the case. She never told Henry about it because she didn't want him to get involved.
So when Jessica suffered the same fate, she refused to stay quiet. She had worked so hard just to give her sister the world. She had given her love more than anyone can ever give. She had sacrificed so much just to keep her safe from anyone who would ever try to hurt her or Jessica. But in just a snap, all that she had worked hard for crumbled before her.
She was desperate to take revenge on anyone. She knew that there was no complete evidence that could directly point EXO to the crime but she wanted them to go to jail... someone should pay this time.
"No, I've never forgotten. Not even once."
**
Sehun woke up in a dark room, his wrists tied behind him and his feet knotted on the legs of the chair he was sitting on. He looked around but the single window in the room didn't show any hint on where he was. His mind started to work out on how to get out of there. But then the door behind him opened.
A man walked to him and faced him. He was wearing the same jacket he's worn on the night Andrea was first attacked. His blue eyes looked at him like he was seeing through him. He leaned to Sehun closer and the latter's eyes slightly widened to take in his face for the first time.
"Where am I?" Sehun's voice was rough.
"Wrong question." He waved a finger at him, "You should ask why you're here."
Sehun fumed at him and the other just laughed at him.
"You know Andrea Choi, right?" He was pleased to see Sehun's face turn into shock, "Choi... isn't it a bit weird she has the same last name as... who's that... Jessica Choi?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Haha... Jessica has a sister. And that sister is Andrea. So think if you're smart. You're here because of her."
"Did she tell you do this??"
"She wants to take down all of you."
"Why would I believe you?!" Sehun said, despite the anger building up in his system, "You're the one who attacked her!"
"I see you've been close to Andrea... well bad news. She's mine."
The man was about to leave when Sehun spoke again.
"Who are you to say she's yours? Are you her boyfriend? Tell me who you are."
He walked back to him and punched his gut, making the younger curl in pain. He looked at him with vile and took him by the collar of his shirt as he leaned so close that Sehun could smell the mint in his breath.
"She doesn't even know your name, does she?" Sehun smirked at him.
"You want my name, kid? I'll tell you my name."
He whispered his name in his ear and pushed him off. He threw another fist onto his jaw, making the maknae fall on the floor, and left there for the night. Meanwhile Sehun kept repeating his name in his head so as not to forget. But at the same time, he was angry.
Andrea had betrayed them all.
