Public scrutiny: GOT7 saves the day!

03:45, 26 August 2015

Ever since the ASC K-pop thing, Ellie and Jackson have been under a lot of pressure. Everyone knows about them now so something simple as going to get coffee has become rather difficult. Ellie's instagram has become a place of hate. She posts her selfies with Jackson and a lot of people respond negatively. People tell her she's lucky JYP made a legal mistake and Jackson pities her. Others are jealous and say she's ugly. And some sasaeng fans say threatening things to Ellie on her instagram, telling her to go die and whatnot. Ellie doesn't have the heart to tell Jackson she's upset by this, so she just privates all her social media and got rid of the negative people. Things have gotten better but Ellie still has trouble going out by herself.

Ellie was on a break at work so she decided to get coffee at the coffee house across the street. She was in a hoodie and some sweats and the hoodie was over her face. She managed to pay for her coffee and get it before someone recognized her. They were internet press people. "Ellie ah can we take a photo with you?" a man asked. "You can do it outside my shop if you guys promote the coffee," the owner of the coffee shop said, suddenly popping up. "I-I guess so ajusshi," Ellie said kindly. Ellie got the press people out of the coffee shop and took a selfie with them.

They left, some other people came up to ask some questions. Someone meanly knocked the coffee out of Ellie's hand and onto her black clothing. Ellie growled but decided to dust herself off and keep it moving. They were asking how she and Jackson were when someone called out "We're fine,". Jackson walked over to them in similar clothing to Ellie. "Jagi I would've gone with you," Jackson said cutely. "S-sorry oppa," Ellie said shyly. "Well, you didn't get to enjoy your coffee so I'll get you another one," Jackson said kindly. He gave her a peck on the cheek and went into the coffee shop. At least 4 photographers got that shot. Girls were loudly cheering in the coffee shop when they saw Jackson. The photographers were chuckling to themselves. Ellie sighed. "Gosh he's such a ham," Ellie breathed. "Well he's your ham Ellie ssi," one of the photographers joked. ""Ne that's true," Ellie said cheerfully. Jackson came out with the same coffee Ellie had earlier. "Thank you for talking kindly to my wife. I'd like to take her back now, okay?" Jackson said kindly. "Of course Jackson ah, we got a good photo of you two for our article," a man said, holding out his camera showing them. "You did, make sure it's a good article okay? She deserves the best. Have a good day now," Jackson said, taking Ellie by her free hand and walking them back to JYP. Ellie yelled "Take care," before they were out of sight.

"It's dangerous to go out alone jagiya," Jackson said, squeezing her hand gently for emphasis. "I-I know... I just wanted to go outside for a little..." Ellie said shyly, then sipping her coffee. "Next time go with someone from GOT7, or me. Arasso?" Jackson clarified. "Ne arasso," Ellie said with a giggle. "That girl knocked the coffee out of your hand and all over you, on purpose... I didn't know people were bothering you. Why didn't you tell me?" Jackson asked, once they were in the JYP building. "It's nothing bad, just fangirls..." Ellie started, but was cut off. "I found screenshots from JB and Mark's phones proving otherwise. You just deleted all the bad stuff and privated your media. Jagi..." Jackson said worriedly. "Okay so people are being annoying. I just wanted to remain positive and keep going. It's easier that way," Ellie said. "If anyone is telling you to go die or to get away from me... Or that you're unfit to be with me... Just tell me okay?" Jackson said kindly, looking at her in that way that makes Ellie's heart flutter. "F-fine. I'm sorry I worried you," Ellie said shyly. "Saranghae," Jackson said in a husky whisper, then pecking her on the lips. "Saranghae," Ellie said cutely.

"I'm done for the day, so let's spend some time together," Jackson said kindly. He threw his empty coffee cup away, and Ellie's too. "Okay, thanks," Ellie said then hugging Jackson suddenly. It wasn't some forceful hug, it was somewhat weak. It was the kind of hug someone initiates when they feel vulnerable. Jackson hugged her tight and rubbed her back. Jackson knew Ellie was a bit sad so he carried her to their room and closed the door behind them. Ellie began to cry in his arms and he hugged her tightly, rubbing her back. Jackson was whispering comforting things in Ellie's ear. He was secretly texting the GOT7 hyungs with his free hand. Ellie managed to stop crying and Jackson wiped away her tears. "I love you... I will always be here for you, okay? You're my wife. Nothing can ever change my mind. You're funny, smart, kind, and talented. You deserve the best. I'm not perfect but I'll try like hell to keep you happy," Jackson said romantically. Ellie got teary eyed at his sincere words. "I love you too... I don't nearly deserve you but I'm not complaining," Ellie said. "Don't talk nonsense jagiya," Jackson said with a giggle.

Someone knocked on Ellie's door. "I told my hyungs to get us food since you were bummed," Jackson said. He opened the door and the remaining GOT7 members had take out bags of food. "We got Chinese food," Yugyeom said cutely. "Thank you guys," Ellie said cheerily. The boys came in and prepared plates on Ellie's table. Ellie got some drinks from her fridge. Everyone ate on the floor since they only had two chairs and didn't want to sit apart. Everyone was talking and laughing. Ellie felt a lot better after this. "I don't know what will come but... At least I got them by my side,"  Ellie thought to herself.
