15 - Okay

Kyeom pov.

"Alright I get that he knows about us but why is he always here with us?" Joshua suddenly complained because for the past days I have been hanging out in their apartment. This is not my choice by the way. Joshi keeps being paranoid and wanting to send me home every time.

Now I'm always here just waiting for him to finish his work and then pick me up to take me home. Oh right he found a part time job. I don't really get why he needs a job because he's obviously not lacking in the budget area. Also I found a way not to get shy around Joshua and that is to just contradict everything he says. Sometimes he thinks I'm just annoyed by him.

"Hey ask your brother. I don't wanna be here anymore than you think." I said with a disgusted face.

"Yeah right." He said in a very sarcastic tone. Well at least he gives me the equal energy back.

"Would you both stop bickering." Joshi complains and I stuck my tongue out at Joshua.

"Alright I'm done. Let's go Kyeom and stop flirting with my brother in front of me." He said pouting. Alright this is just crazy town. Maybe.

"I was not." I said.

"He definitely was." Joshua added and I glared at him. Then he laughed. Joshi also glared at his brother and he raised both his hands this time in surrender. Then we went to the car and he didn't start the car. He just sat there.

"Uhm... are we waiting for someone?" I asked. Then he just looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows.

"Hey you." He suddenly said. Should I be worried he's a little annoyed.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked innocently. Then his annoyed face softened. He took a deep breath and looked at me.

"No. I'm sorry. I shouldn't be annoyed with you like that. I'll just take you home." He said and then I looked at him as he turned on his car. Something is surely bothering him.

"Are you jealous again?" I asked teasing him and then he looked at me.

"Yes." He said without even hesitating.

"Oh." I said and then I was speechless. Alright I just wanted to tease him but he was so honest it caught me off guard. Then we drove in silence. Well that was awkward.

Usually when he drops me off, he would come inside for a while and play with Dino just some nonsense game and then leave. Now I don't think that's gonna happen. His face is very easy to read and now it's giving not the vibe.

Then he stopped the car and as I was about to open the door he stopped me like he was about to say something but then he shook his head.

"Huh?" I asked. Not talking to me the whole ride and then stopping me to say nothing.. well this is not ideal at all.

"Take care." He said and smiled.

"Thanks you too" I said and waved at him goodbye. Should I have told him something? Maybe I should have. Then I thought maybe I should text him something. Right?

Then I took out my phone and typed but then before I could, Dino opened the front door to greet me.

"Come on! Vernon brought a lot of food and it's a fiesta!!!" He said and then grabbed my arm and dragged me inside my house. I mean calm down bro, no one's gonna get me.

"Alright relax." I asked also in panic.

"Wait did Joshi dropped you off again? Why didn't he went inside?" Dino asked. I can see him disappointed but since Vernon and probably Kwanie was here he was alright.

"He had a thing." I said and Dino nodded. We went inside and Vernon gave me a nod while Kwanie hugged me.

"Finally you are home! Where are you always going, after school you just disappear. Wait! Are you dating someone and not tell me?!?" He said and then from the kitchen Hoshi appeared holding on to chips.

"Yeah Kyeom care to explain?" He teasingly said.

"How long have you been here? I gave you guys a key for emergencies." I told them just to change the topic.

"Yeah and we were saving Dino from boredom." Vernon  commented and I just nodded while Dino smiled. He's just like a 5 year old in my eyes.

"Oh right how is Cheol doing?" I asked them since earlier in class Jeonghan and Cheol was having some beef.

"Oh he's still upset about Jeonghan breaking up with him but he told us that he's not giving up until he makes Jeonghan his. Or something cringy like that." Hoshi said bitterly.

"You should talk to Jeonghan." Hoshi said again.

"Why me?" I asked in confused.

"You strangely have a quality? I don't know people seem to listen to you. Even if you look like that." Kwannie said and they laughed. Oh insulting me? Nice going.

"What about my face?" I asked and they laughed.

"They are messing with you. But honestly Kwannie has a point. You are weirdly convincing." Vernon said and I thought about it. I don't know if this is a compliment or not.

"Alright then. I'll talk to Jeonghan. But he has a mind of his own sometimes a world I don't understand so no promises." I told them and they nodded.

"Oh right, I'll be picking up my car finally from the shop so you can come home with me tomorrow!" Hoshi said and I nodded. I guess it would be better since It was a little awkward with Joshi earlier.

"Sure thing." I said and we had a mini sleepover again. I don't even need to ask for one, they just randomly come to my house.

"Has anyone seen Jeonghan? I kinda wanna talk to him." I said to Cheol and he looked at me with bags in his eyes and a really tired face. Does this guy even sleeps?

"Nope. My schedule is a bit busy today." He said.

"Dude you look like a zombie. You gotta rest sometimes." I told him as I tap his back.

"Yeah. But I need this. It keeps me from thinking about you know... the Jeonghan." He said quoting Jeonghan's name like it was kind of a task too.

"Oh right. But you keep this up and Jeonghan's totally gonna reject you again. Last time I heard him say that he likes good looking men and right now that man is not in here." I joked at him and he just chuckled.

"I know. Oh right I need to go say hi for me if you see him" he said and some of the girls from their club dragged him already before I could even say goodbye.

"Bye I guess?" I said as I continued to search for Jeonghan.

"Kyeom? I saw Jeonghan in the gazebo" All of a sudden I was caught off guard by Wonu beside me.

"Wha— how long have you been there?!?" I said in shock.

"Just now." He said.

"Oh.. wanna come with?" I asked.

"Sure whatever." He said and then we walked together to the gazebo.

Then as we were coming close we noticed Jeonghan talking to Mingyu. Right away I see Wonu hesitating to walk he stopped but I grabbed his arm to accompany me he just let me drag him.

"Kyeom? Wonz? What's up?"  He asked and Wonu rolled his eyes at Jeonghan. Even I was shocked at what he did.

"You still hate me huh?" Jeonghan asked while chuckling a little. I smiled for the both of us and looked at Wonu and gave him a look to keep his face subtitles at a minimum.

"Actually I'm just gonna leave." Mingyu suddenly said and I stopped him.

"Me too.." Wonu said.

"Actually no. You both can't keep avoiding each other. Talk and be civil for once. You both liked each other in the chatting stage why not now. And Mingyu? Are you being homophobic?!?" I asked and Jeonghan's eyes widened. Guess he didn't know about that.

"What?!? I am not! I just don't like being deceived." Mingyu argued.

"Alright! Let's start there! Talk!" I said and then glared at Wonu not to run away too. He then pouted and sat down.

"Kyeom!" Wonu complained.

"Come on dude I already gave you an opening. Whatever happens atleast you tried." I whispered at him and he pouted even more. Alright how can Mingyu not like this cute guy?!?!?

"For now, I don't know what's going on with the both of you guys but I need to talk to Jeonghan." I told them and grabbed Jeonghan leaving Wonu and Mingyu alone.

"Is that why Wonu's been angry all the time and weird  around me? Because I kissed Mingyu? Swear I didn't know they were a thing." Jeonghan said raising his right hand.

"I know. It's pretty lowkey. You know Wonu. And I don't think they were a thing. Maybe a little? Well I don't understand them. Let's talk about you." I answered him.

"Me? What about me?" He asked.

"Just curious. Why did you reject Cheol?" I asked.

"You dragged me all the way here just to gossip about my love life?" He said sounding offended but I didn't but it even once.

"Dude." I said trying to make him stop messing around.

"Alright alright! I'll stop changing the subject." He said and then sat down. We were currently in the field and he just sat down on the grass.

"So?" I asked while sitting down as well.

"Kyeom. How many years have we known each other?" He suddenly asked.

"About uhmm 4 years?" I asked still unsure.

"Actually 4 and a half almost 5 but I'll give you a pass cause you're cute.." he said and then winked.

"What's your point?" I asked.

"Through the years we've known each other. Did I ever settle with one guy?" He asked me and I frowned at him.

"No." I answered.

"Exactly. So it would be out of my character to date Cheol just because he said he likes and stay with me by my side otherwise." He said and I just looked at him.

"Are you hearing yourself?" I asked him confused about why he was being so stubborn because we obviously know he's in love with Cheol too.

"Oh okey then. If I date Cheol will that be okay with you?" I asked. Maybe a taste of his own medicine can wake him up.

"What why? You don't even like him." He asked obviously concern.

"I know. But I wanna settle too. Maybe I could play a little bit with Cheol first." I said and then he grabbed my hand.

"Well you can't do that." He said.

"And why is that?" I asked trying to get him to admit his feeling outwardly.

"He's not gonna like that." He said.

"He's not gonna like that or you're not gonna like it?" I asked and then he just frowned and looks like he was thinking then I realized that maybe Jeonghan has never felt jealous before. In his head Cheol is gonna always be available and this was a new territory.

That's Cheol's blind spot. He never really made Jeonghan feel like he's not gonna be available for him. Maybe if I cut off that line, Jeonghan could see what we all were seeing.

"I don't know." He suddenly said.

"Alright then. You rejected my friend Cheol. And we are kinda close too. Maybe he will say yes to me." I said as I pretended to stand up.

"Goodluck. He won't say yes. He likes me." He said confidently. I just smiled and thought he's gonna stop me but he didn't.

"Alright then. We'll see. Thank you for the blessings Jeonghan." I said trying to get him to stop me.

"Alright then. Don't come crying to me if he rejects you." He said and waves at me. Well he is really out of this world. He thinks so different and really really liberating.

Obviously I'm not gonna date Cheol. That was just a little white lie to scare Jeonghan but I don't think it worked. I pass by a bread shop in the canteen and then got a melon bread because I was a little hungry.

I looked at the gazebo and surprisingly Wonu and Mingyu are still sitting together. Great that they are finally talking. I don't think I could take another day more of sad Wonu.

"Hey! You're back. Did anything happen to Jeonghan?" Cheol interrupted me in my thoughts.

"Oh yeah we just talked." I said to him.

"About?" He asked.

"You're not gonna like it." I told him.

"It's alright I can take it." He said as he held his broom tightly to his chest. He was probably on cleaning  duty.

"First take this." I said giving up my stress bread food because I think he needs it.

"Woah. Melon Bread? I love these. Wait you're buttering me up. Did he say something offensive??" He panicked.

"No. I just teased him that I was gonna ask you out and I thought he was gonna oppose to the idea but he actually gave his blessings." I said as I took a bite of another bread in my hand. Yeah I brought a lot.

"HE GAVE HIS BLESSINGS?!?" He asked a little too loud. People were already staring at us.

"Yeah but dude relax this is a public space." I said trying to calm him down.

"This is not going well at all." He mumbled.

"Sorry Cheol. I tried—" before I could even finish he interrupted me.

"Alright then! If that's what he wants then Let's date! I'll pick you up in your house at 8:00 pm. " he said and then before I was even gonna say no, he stomped away leaving me in shock and speechless about what the hell just happened.

Did I just dig my own grave? I know Jeonghan's gonna kill me . This is why I don't talk to people!!!!

"That happened and now if I tell Joshi he's for sure gonna be jealous. And it's a little awkward between us right now.." i said as I told My bff everything that happened since last night.

"Now you're gonna have a friend date with Cheol but you're worried about your boyfriend." He said and I frowned at him.

"He's not my boyfriend. I already told you that. He told me he was gonna drop the ridiculous bet and just pursue me but I didn't even accept yet." I said and he rolled his eyes.

"whatever are you waiting for? You guys are always together after school. You text everyday and have this romantic moments together that I have not yet known but I know there are moments like that." He asked me.

"Well he hasn't really opened that topic since.." since Joshua arrived but I can't tell that to Hoshi yet.

"Since?" He asked.

"Since the last time." I said trying to think of a better excuse but failed.

"You guys are so annoying. This is so easy but you guys keep making it complicated. Unlike my love life that is probably now down to the drain." He said sulking.

"Hoshi! Focus! Dow I go to the date?" I asked him.

"Alright. Alright relax your butt. from where I am standing... you should worry about your boyfriend first before you're friend date." He said to me. Then he pointed behind me. Ofcourse he's there.

"What date is he talking about?" He asked behind me and I looked at Hoshi.

"Don't look at me. I'm just here to observe." He said and I punched him in the arm.

"Ok look. I did something a little stupid but I kinda have a date." I told him and his face changed right away. I know he's gonna be angry again.

"Oh? With who?" He asked still calm. Unusually calm.

"With Cheol but don't worry its just—-" before I could explain what really is happening he interrupted me.

"That's fine then. Enjoy your date." He said and walked out. Alright this is gonna be harder than I thought. I looked at Hoshi and he face palmed me.

"Are you just gonna stand there?!?! Please for the love of God follow that guy right now!" He said as he slapped the back of my head.

"Oh right!" I said as I ran towards the Joshi that is obviously on his Jealous streak.

"Joshi! Wait!" I said as I struggled to walk faster towards him. He walked even faster if that even was possible. He didn't even look back. Seriously he should do something about this attitude.

The he finally stopped.

"Thank God! You finally stopped." I said trying to catch my breath.

"Kyeom can we make something clear??" He suddenly said.

"Yes I want to make it clear but you keep on running away! If you have something to say say it! And If I have something to explain let me explain.!" I said unexpectedly loud. He didn't say anything. Then I grabbed his hands and made my way out the school building. He didn't say a word at all and he just let him be dragged out.

Honestly I didn't know where I was taking him but I saw the abandoned building behind the school and I dragged him there.

"What are we doing here exactly?" He asked.

"No you shut up. I will do the talking. First of all if you're jealous its fine! You don't have to fake smile at me! Freaking tell me! And second of all the date with Cheol is nothing to worry about because it's just a spur of the moment thing when I was convincing Jeonghan that he was doing a lousy job with Cheol. So it's nothing.." i said as I catch my breath. He just looked at me wide eyed and smiled. Then he bit his lips.

"What the hell are you doing? Trying to seduce me????" I asked him because he's literally reacting like a maniac right now.

"I was not seducing you. After all that I just wanted to kiss you so badly that's why I bit my lips... to stop myself" He said.

"Wha- what??" I stuttered and took a step back.

"I said what I said." He said.

"You're crazy if you think I'll kiss you." I said taking another step back but he just keeps on stepping forward.

Then he suddenly cupped both my face. I just stood there frozen. He then lowered his forehead and leaned it into my forehead too. I closed my eyes and then I heard him chuckle.

"Thank you for telling me all that. Yes I was jealous and I didn't say anything because I didn't have the right to be jealous. We are not in a relationship. And partly because I'm insecure and afraid." He told me.

"Afraid of what?" I asked him this time I made him look at me.

"Afraid that maybe if I asked you. You'll reject me. Because my brother—" before he could say anything stupid because I know he will, I stopped him.

"Josh. I don't like your brother. I liked him yes but I don't feel that way anymore. I already told you I prefered you. I just entertain him because I felt bad." I told him honestly.

"Really?" He asked like a little boy.

"Yes. Why else would I put up with your jealous attitude??" I jokingly told him and he suddenly hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back.

"Sorry about that. I just can't help it. I want you all to myself." He said and didn't even let me go with his hug.

"You're sounding obsessed already. If we had continued the bet, you would have folded so badly. I would obviously win" I told him and he chuckled.

"The bet was just something I thought to make you think about me all the time. I don't intend to win it anyway. From the start I liked you already." He said and this time I smiled.

"Loser." I joked.

"You like me too right?" He suddenly asked.

"In your dreams" I said as I ran out the abandoned building. I think I already liked him a long time ago. I just... I was too embarrassed to say it. Damn it I'm blushing hard.

"Kyeom!!!!" He shouted and put his hands on his hips.

"Don't talk to me! I have a date with Cheol." I shouted and he laughed. I guess he understood now. I'm so glad he didn't chase after me.

"Have fun!" He shouted and I smiled. Alright that was a pretty cute moment. I gotta call Hoshi for that one later. He's gonna be so jealous. As I continued running away, I suddenly felt like I was flying. Flying??!?

"Ow!" I said as I fell to the grass.

"What is this I hear about a date?" Jeonghan suddenly said as he crossed his arms at me. Not even bothering to help me.

"Did you just trip me?" I asked him in shock.

"Well yeah. You were running. How else am I gonna catch you. I don't run." He said and I rolled my eyes at my good friend as you could see. I know he doesn't exert energy but tripping me to stop me? Is a little under the belt.

"You know that's not an excuse right?" I asked him again as I stood up and brushed my butt with dirt.

"Kyeom. Did you really ask Cheol out?" He suddenly asked all serious.

"I did." I said confidently.

"I told you not to." He suddenly got angry. Alright he is obviously jealous.

"Are you jealous???" I joked and he just left. He just glared at me and left.

"What's wrong with him?" Hoshi suddenly went beside me and helped me with the dirt in my butt.

"Thanks dude. He's upset about the date and You are everywhere." I told him and he just smiled like a little hamster.

"Ok did someone piss off Jeonghan?" Kwannie suddenly asked while Vernon nodded along.

"This guy. Why what did he do?" Hoshi pointed at me.

"He pushed my Bonon. Just because we were in the way?" Kwannie said as he pouted in front of  Vernon.

"Wow dude. You need some damage control here." Hoshi said to me and I suddenly got worried. Oh he's being a crabby patty because he likes Cheol right? It feels like my life is in danger.

"I know. But he seriously needs this. Just trust me on this. He's gonna cave in and confess to Cheol in no time. And you guys told me to talk to him. This is all your fault." I said confidently and Kwannie just looked at me with disapproval.

"We told you to talk to him. Not get him angry. We all know what happened last time right? How many plates  and oven did we need to replace last time he was pissed??" Hoshi added.

"What?!? You guys are pinning this all on me??? How about Cheol???" I asked.

"What about me??" He suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Why is it that everytime I say someone's name they come up.

"Here's the guy that started this all. Blame him." I said trying to help myself because clearly they are not doing it for me.

"What?" He asked.

"You're Hannie is pissed because you ask KyeomOut." Hoshi said.

"Oh shoot. Really?" He asked and he was even more scared than Kwannie.

"Why are you getting scared?!??" I asked him in shock.

"I like Jeonghan but he is really scary. One of the things I like about him, it is pretty hot but not if you're on the other end of the sword." He said and we all face palmed.

"Then freakin talk to each other already!" I shouted. Then he nodded.

"There! Problem solved." I said and Hoshi just laughed with Kwanie.

"You all look stressed. Let's all grab some snacks." Vernon suddenly suggested.

"Sure." We all said in chorus.

"Have anyone seen Jeonghan?" I asked around.

"I think he went into the music room. And I know that because he just threw everyone out." Woozi said as he was holding on to his instrument.

"Oh no. I did really pissed him off." I said.

"Well you better fix it. He's definitely not happy." Woozi said as he wished me goodluck.

"Thanks." I said and then knocked on the door slowly. I guess he didn't hear me because he was thrashing the room. I'm already getting the shivers.

I opened the door and then he finally noticed.

"I thought I told you guys to get the fuck out!" He said as he threw the drumsticks to the wall.

"Jeonghan it's me." I said. Then he stopped. He didn't look at me and just threw another instrument.

"I don't wanna see you right now." He said.

"Jeonghan. Please don't get angry. I just asked Kyeom out because I was hurt. I didn't mean to make you mad. I still like you. And I will always like you even if you reject me. I'll wait. I'll be your safety net all the time." I said trying to calm him down.

"You asked him out?!?" He shouted and then kocked the drums! Alright maybe I have to pay for all the equipment.

"Yeah. But it was just a joke. I promise" i said.

"Jeonghan stop. Please." I said as I held his hands and then I made him look at me. Then I saw his face. He was not angry like everyone expected him to be. He was freaking crying.

He hid his face and looked down. I wiped his tears and couldn't help but to hug him. It's the first time I saw him cry and I made him cry goddamn it. I'll never forgive myself.

"Hannie. I'm sorry. It's all my fault." I said once again.

"No." He said softly.

"It's my fault." He added.

"What?" I asked.

"I took you for granted. I guess I'm just sad. I rejected you in the first place. And you're not my safety net. You're my person." He said and I was never more shocked than I can describe right now.

"Kyeom said only opened my eyes to the truth. I know what I want now. And I want you." He said and then wrapped his arms around my neck like he usually do.

"If you say something like that. I wont be able to hold back."  I said.

"Who's stopping you?" He whispered in my ear and then I smashed my lips into his lips. I don't care if we are at school or not. I was just lost in the moment and fucking loved it. The kiss was needy and aggressive but we both liked it that way.

"We have to thank Kyeom later." I said between the kiss and Jeonghan grabbed my hair and pushed me closer to him like that was even possible.

"Less chit chat. More kissing me." He said and then we were straight up making out for a couple of minutes.

2 hours later... kissing maybe after the make up make out session....

"You know now that we're together. You have to pay for all the damage I made." Jeonghan smiled and I poked his nose.

"Anything for you." I said and then he chuckled and held my hands.

"Tell everyone you're mine now." He said.

"That's a given but Sure." I said and then he smiled and kissed me again. I guess making him jealous was a great move. But never again.

"Hey! I thought you're gonna drop me off!" I shouted to Hoshi as he went out to his car.

"Well someone offered to drop you off saying something like he missed Dino. And I have a play to catch." He said and then drive off to somewhere I don't know. Behind him was Joshi of course.

"Come on, Dino's probably waiting alone." He said and I chuckled and joined him in the car .

"You make the most obvious excuses. Just be honest and tell them you missed me." I said to him teasing him.

"Alright then next time." He said and my eyes widened.

"I was joking!" I said.

"And I am not." He answered back then winked at me.

"Stop that." I told him.

"Oh did that make you blush?" He joked.

"Shut up or I'll get off." I said to him.

"Sir yes sir." He said and then quietly drive to my house.

"Not stopping by your apartment?" I asked.

"Why?!? Miss my brother too?!?" He said again and I rolled my eyes.

"Could you just drop it for once." I said in annoyance.

"No problemo." He said and then stopped at an Ice cream place.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Well, you had a date tonight right? I'm stealing it from Cheol." He said and then I smiled. This guy really knows how to sway me. I hate it .

"Alright then... I want two buckets." I said .

"Sure. Anything you want." He smiled and I just rolled my eyes but deep down dying inside of how cute he is.

We got a cookie as well and then As I was taking a bite he took a picture.

"What?" He asked innocently.

"Delete that right now!" I said.

"Why? You are so cute here look." He said as he showed me his phone.

"I am cute there but Then don't post it." I said then he nodded.

"How about this?" He asked as he showed me his phone .

"You're such a weirdo." I said as I smiled silently.

Damn it I'm seriously falling for this guy bad.
