Chapter 25

Today was the day I am going home. I say home, I mean to the sidemen house. A few days ago I brought a wig because I felt really uncomfortable with the bald head. It looks exactly like my old hair and it fitted good.

I get up out of bed and head over to the bathroom. I put my wig on and also apply some makeup. As I'm going home today I add a bit more then usual.

After putting on my makeup I head out the bathroom and find some clothes in my wardrobe. I pick out this cute angel top and some blue jeans. I haven't worn jeans in ages but today is a special occasion.

I start packing all my clothes and everything like gifts and other things. I managed to fit everything into one suitcase which is good because I only have one.

I pick up my backpack and put all my money into it. I start unplugging my xbox and putting the wires in the backpack as well. I left the xbox out because I could easily carry that to the car. Just after I finished packing Chloe walks in.

Chloe: Hey Kaylee. I'm going to miss you. You're my favourite patient.

Me: Aww. I'll come visit when I get my Chemo every now and then.

Chloe: Thats because I'm the one giving it to you.

Me: Yeah well I suppose I'll see you at the house sometimes if things go well with you and JJ.

Chloe: I hope so. He's a really lovely guy.

Just then the boys burst into the room talking to each other.

Harry: WHOSE READY TO GO TO NANDOS!

The boys cheer which makes me and Chloe laugh. I give Chloe a hug goodbye, throw my backpack over my shoulder and grab my suitcase.

Me: Hey can one of you guys get my xbox for me.

Josh: I've got it.

The boys all walk out the door and I walk out with Vik.

Vik: You happy you're leaving?

Me: I don't know, I haven't been in the outside world in ages.

Vik: Well after the Nando's we can take you around London if you want.

Me: That will be nice. Thanks Vik.

We get out to the car park and the boys all walk to their cars. I get in a car with Vik, I put my suitcase in the back and keep the backpack with me. Vik starts driving to Nando's and I just watch the city fly by.

We arrive at Nando's and I get out the car and put the backpack back over my shoulders. I couldn't afford for it to get stolen so I kept a good eye on it.

Simon: Guys wait up!

Simon, Josh and Harry run over to us as we walk into Nando's.

Harry: So what's the plan? We have Nando's and then go back to Kaylee's?

Me: Well if you guys ain't busy we can go around London.

We walk inside and sit at the table Ethan, Tobi and JJ were at. I sat by Simon and Vik and was opposite Ethan. I put my backpack between my legs just to keep it safe.

We all talk for a bit about what we are going to do after the Nando's and I think it's time to confess me living with them.

Me: So guys what's everyone think about me moving in?

The boys just sit there surprised about what I said.

JJ: What about your house?

Me: My mum kicked me out. If it's alright with you lot that is. Vik said I could stay for as long as I want.

Simon: That's great. Then we get to see more of you.

Ethan: That sounded a bit weird mate.

Me: Oi look I don't have to stay if you don't want me too.

Josh: Nah Kaylee please stay.

I smile and say okay. We all order our food and talk a bit more. Just about normal things like YouTube and games and other things. The food arrives at the table and we all eat.

We finish eating and the bill comes. I took it off the waitress as all the other boys were on their phones and didn't really notice. I check how much it is and it was £285. I open up my backpack and sneakily get 3 £100 notes out of one of the racks. I pass it to the waitress and tell her to keep the change.

She takes the plates away and I stand up to leave.

JJ: Calm it Kaylee we need to pay before we leave.

Me: Come on guys, they won't notice. It's packed in here.

Vik: Kaylee no. We need to pay them.

Me: You lot are just pussies. I'm going outside.

I walk out Nando's and sit on a bench just outside. About 2 minutes later the boys come out looking really angry.

Ethan: Kaylee what the hell!

Me: What?

Tobi: You paid for all the food.

Me: Yeah. It's a nice gift for you guys looking after me.

Ethan: Where'd you get the money from anyways?

Me: I don't know. I just saved up.

JJ: Well let us pay you back.

Me: Just leave it I don't need your money.

I laugh and walk away to Viks car. I open it and get inside waiting Vik. About 4 minutes later Simon and Vik come to the car.

Vik: Simon's gonna come with us okay.

Me: Alright.

They both get into the car and Vik starts driving into the city.

Simon: I saw what's in your backpack Kaylee.

Me: What?

Simon: The money.

I look at Vik and he just concentrates on the road. I look back at Simon who has a scared look on his face.

Simon: Where'd you get it from. There was loads in there.

Me: I'm a mass serial killer.

I wink and laugh which makes Vik laugh too.

Simon: Nah seriously how do you have that much?

Me: My mum gave it to me before she left.

Then I remembered about Beans. We need to pick him up.

Me: Vik can we go home quickly. I need to get Beans.

Vik: Yeah alright.

He takes a little detour until we get to the house. I jump out the car and walk in. It's my house I didn't need to know. I see Beans waiting at the door and he jumps up onto me. I hug him and run upstairs into my room.

I grab another one of my suitcases that was on the top of my wardrobe and start filling it with clothes and other things I'll need in the up coming years like a pass port and things like that. I zip up my suitcase and run downstairs with it.

I go into the kitchen and get everything of Beans like his toys, food and chain. I hear my mum shout from the living room but I quickly left. I saw that Beans was already in the car next to Simon so I put my suitcase in the back.

Mum: KAYLEE!

I turn around and look at her before slamming the boot. She walks down the drive was and Vik and Simon look out the window.

Me: What?

Mum: So you're out?

Me: Yes I am. Now if you don't mind me I'm going home.

I walk over to the passengers side of the car and open the door.

Mum: Wait! You can stay.

Me: No thanks. I'd rather live with Simon and Vik.

She looks in the car and sees the boys and smiles at them. I get into the car and nudge Vik to start the car. He does and we drive off. I turn around and see Beans wagging his tail and sticking his tongue out. This is going to be life from now.
