Chapter 23

I was just sat on my bed watching some YouTube on my own. I started to binge ImAlexx's 90 day fiancé videos which have been interesting and quite funny.

Simon left later on in the morning as he had to go film some videos. So I was lonely, my mum hadn't messaged me from yesterday. Neither did Ethan so I just left them be. They all need to get out my personal business anyways.

I get myself more comfortable but the door opens and I see JJ walk through with a suitcase and bandana on his head.

JJ: Heyyyyyy Kayleeeeee. I've missed you!

He shouts before running up to the bed and giving me a hug.

Me: Hey I've missed you too. You moving in then are you?

I laugh pointing at the suitcase.

JJ: Unfortunately no. I would love to get treated by that doctor but no. I've just got out of an Uber from the airport.

Me: Ahh so I'm number one priority then.

JJ: Of course you are.

Me: I like your new style. It suits you.

I play with his bandana and move it more in-line with his head.

JJ: It's to hide the hairline. Is it working?

Me: I guess. I could do with one of them because soon my hairline will be non existent.

JJ: I got a spare in my bag if you want it.

I shrug my shoulders and he gets it out his bag. I walk over to the bathroom with it in hand and look at my hair. JJ comes in and looks confused at what I'm doing.

Me: You got a razor right?

JJ: You're not gonna shave it off are you?

Me: I'll rather shave it off now then have chunks of it missing.

JJ walks back into the room and searches through his suitcase. A few seconds later he comes back with an electric razor. I grab it off him and plug it into the wall.

Me: Will you?

I ask and hand him the razor.

JJ: No way! I can't do that to you.

Me: Pretty please.

JJ: Fine but only because you told me to.

He then starts to shave parts of my hair off. He has some fun with it and makes some cool patterns before cutting it all off. After 5 minutes he finishes and turns off the razor.

I take a proper look in the mirror and run my hands across it.

Me: I don't like it.

JJ bursts out laughing as he sees regret in my face. His laugh was so contagious though and it made me laugh.

I look back at myself in the mirror and smile. Maybe it wasn't that bad. I grab the bandana from the side and put it over my head like JJ had his. I actually surprisingly liked it.

JJ: Damn girl that suits you.

Me: You think?

JJ: Hell yeah.

I laugh and walk back into the room. He follows after me and sits on my bed with me.

JJ: So I didn't get you anything from Amsterdam or LA...

Me: You went to LA?

JJ: Yeah it was amazing. But anyways I thought you could be the first person to listen to my new song.

Me: Id love too.

He gets out his phone and starts to type some shit in. He then puts his phone down on the bed and music starts to play.

Bring that ting in the place where you'll need it. Sweet ting make me wanna buss when I beat it.

The rest of the part plays out till the end. It was actually quite good.

JJ: That was just my part. The songs gonna be called Houdini and Swarmz and Tion Wayne is doing another part. What do you think.

Me: I like the Jamaican accent. It's quite cool, got a good beat to it and everything. I like it.

I told him the truth. For once I told the truth in my life. Just then the door opens and me and JJ look to see who it was. When JJ saw that Chloe was stood at the door he stood up off the bed.

Chloe: Hey guys, I was just wondering what you want for dinner.

JJ: Are you on the plate.

This instantly made me laugh. Just JJs confidence is amazing.

Chloe: Unfortunately i was talking to Kaylee.

She takes her eyes off JJ and looks over at me.

Chloe: Holy fuck what happened to your hair.

Me: I shaved it. May as well.

Chloe: It suits you with that bandana.

I thank her and tell her what I want to eat. She then leaves the room and JJs eyes follow her out.

Me: She never said no.

I say to him as he shook his head jumping back into real life.

JJ: What?

Me: When you asked her if she's on the plate, she never said no.

JJ: Oooooo. How am I going to get this one?

Me: You can give me your number, I'll give it to her for you.

JJ then grabs a piece of paper before writing down his number and he folds the paper over and gives it to me. I place it on the bed side table and giggle a bit. God knows what he put on that piece of paper.

JJ: Anyways I better get heading home. I'll see you soon Kaylee. Love you.

He grabs his suitcase and bag, throwing it over his shoulder.

Me: See you, love you too Jide.

He smiles and walks out the room, yet again I was myself. I did feel quite lonely but then I remembered I get more visitors then everyone else in here so I shouldn't feel sad.

Chloe comes back in with my food and I give her the folded up piece of paper. She opens it and giggles.

Me: What is it?

She passes me the paper and I look at it. I looked at the number and underneath it, it says 'Forget Kaylee, come treat me'. I laugh at it and hand it back to Chloe.

Me: Are you going to call him or what?

Chloe: What? Now?

Me: Yeah go ahead.

She dials the number in the phone and puts it on speaker. JJ shortly answer after the third buzz.

JJ: Hello?

Chloe: Hey it's Chloe.

JJ: Hey girl. When do you get off work?

I couldn't hold it in so I just burst out laughing. Then because I laughed, it made Chloe laugh as well.

JJ: What's so funny?

Me: You're so confident.

JJ: Oi allow it!

Chloe then takes JJ off speaker and walks out the room. Great, so my doctor is gonna fuck my best friend. I just laugh it off and start eating my food while watching Netflix.
