Chapter 5

I wake up to the sound of my alarm. I go for a shower and then I get changed into my school uniform and put on some makeup. I then straighten my hair and try to cover my hickey. I go downstairs and see my mum in the living room

Mum: Would you like me to drop you and your friend off at school?

Me: Yeah actually I'm running a bit late.

She grabs her keys and I walk outside to see Simon at the bottom of the driveway.

Me: Come on.

Simon: What?

Me: Get in the car you dick.

Mum: Hello, you must be Kaylees friend.

Simon: Yeah I am. I'm Simon.

Me: You getting in or what.

I get in the passengers seat and Simon gets in the back. We talked a bit, not that much. She pulls up to school and we get out the car.

Simon: Thanks for the lift.

Mum: Any time Simon.

We walk over to the guys waiting for us outside school. We walk into school and go to computing class. I sat next to Tobi in computing because I know he was good at the subject and I needed a bit of extra help.

Today we were learning about pseudocode. I was trying to figure it out on my own but I just couldn't.

Me: Tobiiiiiiii

Tobi: Do you need help kayleeeeee?

Me: Yes please.

Tobi then teaches me how to do it. I still had no clue, computing is just my worst subject. I don't even care if I fail.

Tobi: What's that?

Me: I think the year 7's just like drawing dicks on the computer screens.

Tobi: No, that.

He pulls my hair back revealing the hickey. I quickly pull my hair back to where it was.

Me: Tobi don't you dare tell anyone.

Tobi: Who the fuck gave you that?

Me: No Tobi it was no one.

Tobi then turns around to Vik and tells him about it. Vik then looks at me confused.

Vik: It wasn't there last night when I left.

Tobi: Wait, you went to Kaylee's last night?

Me: Yeah, his dad and my mum are friends.

Tobi then turns back to Vik and whispers something to him. They both turn back to look at Simon. I just turn my head away in embarrassment.

Simon: What are you looking at?

Tobi: It was you wasn't it?

Simon: What are talking about?

Tobi then points at his neck.

Simon: That wasn't me. How do you know it was?

I just stay quiet and held my head in my hands.

Teacher: What's going on?

Simon: Nothing sir.

Teacher: Get on with your work then Minter.

It was now lunch time and all the guys knew about it.

Simon: I don't see why you all think it's me.

JJ: Because you can literally jump into each other's bedrooms.

I just stay silent and look at Simon trying to get his way out of it.

Ethan: Who was it then Kaylee?

Me: Huh?

Ethan: Who gave you it.

Me: The vacuum cleaner.

Harry: Bull shit. We all know it was Simon.

Simon: Fine, yes it was me. Big deal get over it.

Everyone cheers and I go red. I've never gone red over a boy before. Tobi wraps his arm around me and hugs me.

Vik: She's gone red!

They all just look at me and Simon. And burst out laughing.

Josh: Who fucking knew the new girl and Simon.

Simon: Oi just shut up will you. And what if we fucked.

Tobi: No one said anything about fucking.

Me: Well done Simon.

They all burst out laughing again.

It was the end of the day and we all decided to go and play some football. The boys got out a camera and put it on a tripod in front of the goal.

Me: What's the camera for?

Harry: You don't know?

Me: No?

Josh: We all have youtube and we make videos. So now we're making a video.

Me: Oh cool. I'll just sit out of it then. I'm not a big fan of being in front of the camera.

JJ: Thats a surprise.

Me: What's that meant to mean?

JJ: I thought I'd seen you on porn hub once.

Me: You cheeky bastard.

I start to chase him around the pitch before he trips over. I get on top of him and playfully hit him. I get up and sit behind the camera watching the boys do there thing.

Next thing I know, the girl from yesterday and her mates come onto the pitch. I get up without the boys noticing and walk over to them.

Me: Hey I just wanted to apologise for yesterday. I just don't like people judging me.

Girl: Yeah I'm sorry as well. I shouldn't have gotten jealous I guess. Do you want a fag?

Me: Yeah thanks.

She passes me a cigarette and we walk to the back corner of the pitch. We sit down and begin to gossip.

Girl: So then Kaylee. What are the boys like?

Me: They're actually really nice and funny, but they can be annoying at times.

Girl 2: What's Simon like?

Me: Oh Simon's lovely. He's very tall though.

Girl 3: What about Tobi?

Me: Tobi's one of the kindest people I have ever met, but I think he's just waiting for the right person you know.

They nod and we talk about other things.

Girl: Oh shit we haven't introduced ourselves, well I'm Sofia, that ones Amy and that ones Chelsea.

Me: Well hi. I'm the new girl.

We all start giggling.

Amy: There's a party on Saturday. You can come if you want.

Me: Will there be drinks?

Chelsea: And drugs.

Me: Oooo okay I'm in.

Then the boys starts shouting for me.

Simon: KAYLEE!

JJ/Ethan: KAYLEE!

Me: WHAT?

Then Simon comes running over to us.

Simon: We need your help being ref.

I hold my arm out for him to help me up and he grabs my hand and pulls me up. We walk over to the guys without letting go of each other's hands and they tell me what to do. I had to try and stop there goals so I went to the goal.

I let a few goals slide through just because I was saving too many. The boys finished their video and I walk up to the guys.

Me: Hey guys I'm gonna head home now.

Vik: We're all hanging out on Saturday, you can come along if you want.

Me: Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm busy Saturday.

JJ: What can be more important then us?

Me: A party.

Simon: Jason's party?

Me: I don't know. The girls invited me so I'm going.

Ethan: Okay then. You do you.

Me: Yeah well I'll see you all tomorrow or something. Bye

The guys said bye back and I walked home on my own. I get half way home until I get stopped by some guys. The same guys that gave me the weed.

Guy: Hey princess. How you doing?

Me: What do you want?

Guy: Are you coming to my party on Saturday?

Me: Are you Jason?

Guy: Yeah, yeah I am.

Me: Well I guess I'm coming then. I gotta get home, see you on Saturday.

I wink and walk away from him. I get home and see my mum sat in the living room watching TV. I walk in and sit down next to her putting my head on her shoulder. She rubbed my head and we sat there watching TV together.
