Chapter 19: Haunting Pasts (Part 5)

Iesamu and Nayoshi have always noticed their older brother's odd behaviour.

Like how his smiles looks forced.

How he looked horrified when their father comes home from overseas.

Tsuna also didn't join them when playing.

He was always distant around them, his family.

Of course, Iesamu and Nayoshi weren't that dense. They notice their brother getting more bruises when their father comes home.

But they always consider it as a coincidence.

Their father wont do anything that bad, right?

Well, Not.

It was one time when Nayoshi went down to get some warmMilk because he couldn't sleep.

In the kitchen, he heard yelling and profanities as whimpering was also heard.

Curious, he shakily opened the kitchen door, revealing his father, their father, punching the lights out of their older brother.

Nayoshi's eyes widened, he looked at his older brother, Tsu, who was just hissing in pain in every punch and kick.

He felt bloodlust from the brunette for a second but it disappeared when Tsuna looked at him from the corner of his eye.

Iemitsu, who just noticed his younger son, smiled like nothing happened.

"Yo! I was just teaching this brat a lesson. Want to join me?" He asked with a goofy smile.

Nayoshi shakily shook his head, then he looked at his older brother who was wiping his blood away from his head with dull brown eyes.

They made eye contact but Tsuna shrugged and continued wiping some blood away from his face.

The face he loves so much.

Iemitsu smiled and replied with a single 'okay'.

Iemitsu dragged Nayoshi out of the kitchen and gave him some milk in a glass.

"Don't mind what you saw okay?"

With that, his father left him and Nayoshi rushed to his twin's aid.

"Tsu!"

Tsuna didn't reply but just stood up, struggling a bit, but he was already used to it.

He felt stings, but not much pain.

"Tsu?"

Tsuna ignored his brother and limped his way out of the kitchen and up stairs.

"Leave me alone." His voice full of anger and frustration dripping in venom said.

"E-Eh?" Dumbfounded, Nayoshi stared at his twin's retreating figure and stared at the floor.

'What has our family become...?'

Tsuna was walking his way to school, new bandages were attached to his bruised and scarred skin.

'I miss my fabulous skin... When can I ever NOT get new scars.' Tsuna sighed in annoyance as he reached the Namimori gates.

He was actually late.

The Skylark came and eyed the Usagi Herbivore.

"You're late. I'll bite you to death."

Tsuna frowned mentally but he showed a scared expression outside.

Tsuna has many masks, he's practically the king of masks.

He perfected all different expressions, personalities, and skills.

Our Tuna-Fish is growing up. *wipes imaginary tear*

'Ne, are you guys falling for me now?' Tsuna asked in his mind to no one in particular.

The Demon Prefect charged towards the brunette.

Apparently, Tsuna didn't want to be sore all over when he gets back to class.

No one seems to be watching them so, he blocked the tonfa.

And threw it away.

He threw it away.

And up It goes.

But it wont break.

Tsuna took the chance to run past the distracted Ravenette and went inside the school.

Hibari, who was currently shocked, went over to where his tonfa was thrown.

The cement floor had a crater on where the tonfa fell.

Heck, the brunette was strong.

This sparked Hibari's interest.

'Sawada Tsunayoshi the Omnivore.' He smirked.

Tsuna shivered as he opened the classroom doors.

"Dame-Tsuna! You're late!"

'No shit-sherlock.'

The teacher told Tsuna to stay outside the room and Tsuna obeyed.

He wanted to be outside in the first place.

He took a phone out, which he bought, and started typing random things in which can block the school CCTV cameras.

Tsuna smirked as he started a group chat.

-Sky27 entered the group-

{Squalo: VOIIIIIII!!!!}

Sky27: shut up.

{Bel the Prince: Ushishishishi, you sound pissed.}

Sky27: Aren't I always? Life's crap with hiding your identity.

{Lussuria: Then why won't you just reveal yourself already~}

Sky27: Vendicare's boring.

{Bel: Ushishishi~ So You're saying if Vendicare was fun, you'll go there.}

Sky27: Maybe...

{Levi: Im going if boss goes.}

Sky27: No one asked you.

{Squalo: VOIIII!!! Brat, you're becoming brattier!}

-Sky27 left the group-

Tsuna sighed as he shut his phone down and shoved it into his pocket.

Varia was getting more and more... Well... Idiotic.

Tsuna stood up from where he was sitting on, which was the floor and decided to open the CCTV cameras back on.

He knew the class alteady forgotten about him, so he decided to make a run for it.

He opened a window and jumped out from the 2 story high building while directing a smirk at the CCTV camera.

'Im so bad-ass.' He chuckled as he landed in his feet and dusted himself.

'Well then, lets go find a mission to do...'
