today was Independence Day further known as the 4th of July. today i thought of inciting some of my friends to celebrate this holiday as it was summer and i really had nothing to do. i first decide to text my boyfriend, hawk.

                          sounds like a plan.

i went to my closet and picked out a cute one piece along with black swim shorts. i texted hawk to pick me up so we could buy the snacks and drinks.

                                 time skip:

"okay how about we get doritos dynamite and chips n' dip for the snacks?" hawk suggests.

"that sounds good, ooo maybe we sould get some candy too and drinks."

hawk: 😏

y/n: oh don't tell me you want beer or any alcoholic drink.

hawk: PLEASEEEEE

y/n in a quieter tone: babe your fake id expired june 9th of this year.

hawk: damn it.

                                 time skip:

"hey guys ya'll showed up!" i say with enthusiasm.

"took ya'll long enough," tory says smirking.

"WE WERE GETTING FOOD FOR YOU GUYS, GOD."

"well you could always hope, right?" hawk says now smirking as well.

"i hate you all. ANYWAYS let's jump in!"

"not if you jump firstttt-"

"what-"

out of nowhere hawk pushes me into the water.

"OH YOU ARE SO DEAD!"

i grip his feet and throw him into the water with all my strength.

"WOAH!" his last words before slipping right into the chlorine filled pool.

as everyone was splashing each other and having fun i noticed that hawk was missing and nowhere in sight.

"hey guys have you seen hawk?"

"no? OMG LOOK OUT!" miguel says.

"huh? OH!" hawk came from the bottom of me and gave me no choice but to be sitting on his shoulders.

"HEY!" i say laughing.

"gotcha," he says smiling.

i smiled back and bent my head down to give him a kiss.—————

"WHEN WILL THEY START?" i yell impatiently.

"CHILL THEY'RE STARTING AT 9:45," miguel yells back.

we were currently seated in the parking lot near the stadium waiting for the 4th of july fireworks to begin.

"GUYS LOOK!" i exclaimed.

everyone jolted their heads to the direction of the colorful fire blasting in the air.

"they're beautiful," i say much calmer.

"not has beautiful as you," hawks voice interrupts.

i look to his side and smiled, we were both sitting on top of the car while the others were on the grass, i couldn't help but to give him a passionate kiss while the fireworks played in the background. right when we kissed, a heart shaped firework made its appearance right in the middle of the sky. talk about perfect timing.

"AWWWWWW THEY'RE KISSINGGG!!" tory yells.

we quickly pull away and everyone laughed all together.

a/n: HEY GUYS! in the a/n at the beginning i wrote it on the real 4th of July but i'm posting it today since i had to revise and edit a couple things that day, but anyways HAVE AN AWESOME DAY AND THANK YOU FOR READING!
