But soon the guy in charge for the first part of the exam comes in and repermanted the sound ninja who apologised.

Yeah right, Melody knew they only pretending to they don't get kicked out during the exam for breaking a rule.

Ibiki :It time to begin, my name is Ibiki morino.Your protctor and from this moment, your worst enemy.

This somehow makes the othet scary ninjas look scared and Melody immdily knew there are other people who look scary that can be scared as well.

Ibiki then explain the rules for the exam.

Ibiki: I'll say this once! So listen up!There will be no combat between canidates, no attack each other without permission of your proctor and if even then the use of fatal force is strickly prohided.Anyone else think of messing with me will be disculaified immedilty, got it?!

No one says anything mostly out of fear while others not wanting to take the chance to be removed by breaken a rule like the sound ninja did but only got a warning which was luckly.

Zaku: No fatal foce that no fun.

Ibiki: Now if we're ready.We'll procced to the first stage of the chunin exam.Hand over your paper work, in return you'll be each be giving a number, this number will determin where will you'll sit.We'll start tye written test once your all seated.

Melody mind: Oh no, this does not look good for Naruto.

Naruto: What, what did he say...written....

Then a male ninja have a stack of papers in his hands and once Naruto saw then he shouted out in fear as he is terrible at written test as they are properly one of his weakness.

Naruto: Not a written test no way!!!!!

Soon all the Genin take their seats, Melody was infront of Sasuke and a few seats and rows away from Naruto and Sakura.

Melody is immedlity have a feeling the test its gonna be something like back in her home world but since she's a ninja and not in the academy anymore there might be an hidden test whithin the written test itself, she is just keeping her eyes open, the old world and the this world are different after all.

This place have ninjas who can uses powers while back her old world is a way more moden with technogly wuth no people with powers but both worlds do have a thing in commen they both have countrtys that still go to war time to time.

Naruto mind: Ahh I don't know where the otyers are sitting, even I don't know where Melody been placed.I'm all alone, arg this already a distaster!

Sakura mind: Hmp, tough luck for Naruto

Sakura was feeling a bit smirked and she can passed with Sasuke and maybe Melody if Naruto fails on it.

Sakura mind: Written exams are not his strong point.

Sakura was then giggling to herself in her head while Melody worry looks at blond.

Ibiki: Everyone eyes front!

This caughts everyone attation as Ibiki uses a chalk broad to write down the rules for the written test.

Ibiki: There are a few rules you'll need to be aware of.And I won't answer any question, so you better pay attation the first time around.

Sakura mind: No question?What kind of rules are these?

Ibikki: Alright rule number one is this.The written part of the exam is conducted on the point reduction system.Contray of what some of you may be used to, you all begin the test with a perfect score of ten points.One point will be deducted from each answer you get wrong, if you miss 3, your finall score will be seven.

Naruto mind: If I miss ten my final score will be zero.

Ibikki: Rule number two.Team will be passed or failed based on total score on all thre memebers.

This shocks everyone even Melody who never had a test like that back her old home or in the ninja academy.Something is defintly up.

This pissed of Sakura who couldn't keep in her voice.

Sakura: What?!Wait a second! Your saying we all get scored as a team?!

Ibikki: Silence!i have my reason, so shut up and listen!

Sakura mind: Reasons?

Ibikki: Rule number three the sentails are posisen around the room are there to watch you carefully for any signs of cheating.And for every insedent they spotted, they will subtraced two points from the coprate score.

This made the genin in the room even more nervous now.

Ibikki: Be warning, there eyes are extermly sharp and if they catch you five times, you'll be dismissed before the test are even scored.

Sakura mind: shees, they make it so there all sorts of ways you can loose points.

Ibiki: Anyone fool enough to be caught cheating by the sentails doesn't desevers to be here.

Kotestu: I got my eye on you guys.

Ibiki: If you wanna be considered shinobi, then show us what an expectoinal Shinobi you can be.

Sakura mind: Okay okay, relax.I know I'll do alright and Sasujme should be fine and maybe Melody too.So even if Naruto gets a zero if we do well enough we should survive this.

Ibikki: One more thing.If any candidate should get a zero and fail the test.Then the entire team fails.

This cause the genins to panic a bit because they could coast their team to loose tbe exam if they don't do well enough.

Naruto gets super scared now because of what his team mates will do if he failed the exam.

Ibiki: The final question won't be given out until fithteen minutes before the end of the testing peruid.You'll have one hour totall.

Melody mind: Wait a minute. He said if we are foolish enough to get caught we'll loose points and why would he gives us chances?He want us to cheat on the test but in the unoticable way as possibal.Heck yeah this is way better then my old world though mlre dangers in sense.I just need to see how much I can write without cheating and then maybe I can see if I can use my eyes to help out like when I used an  animal to spy on the bridge.As far as I know, no one else knew much adout my voidgan powers yet.Wait is this the paper test from my dreams a few days ago!Okay, if I go inside a gaint forest like woods and fight a snake like in my dreams, then I possibly might have future seeing powers.

Ibiki: Begin!

All the genin turn their paper over and started writting the answers best as they can.

Melody looked at some of the question and knew she could answer sime of them, since they were drilled into her head back at her old.She knew that Sasuke will figure out, so she will let him cheat off her.

Alfer all he has the Sharingan.

Melody answer the question she knew the answer too and then pretending to be thinking while she was closing her eyes and gently open them to reveal her voidgun as she was looking down at the paper.

She then used her eye abilty to look through some of the sentails and Genin which turn out to have the answer she need for the questions she haven't written on yet.

She written them down as she look through their eyes, surprised that no one else seem to noticed the possible eye colour change of the person she is looking through.

Meanwhile Sakura the only smart one who is one of the many genin who can answer the question right without cheating.

Sasuke was also having a bit of a hard time knowing he an't a book smart as Sakura and Melody.

Sasuke mind: Ah man, this doesn't look good.

Sasuke watch his blond friend who having a hard time to think adout a answer for the question.

Sasuke mind: He just sitting there, he gonna choke.

Sasuke reads the questions that even a most people will have a hard time to write the answer to.

Sasuke mind: Thats intresting, I can't begin to understand a single one of these problems

Sasuke is starting to get suspicous adout this test.

Sasuke mind: It strange, they make more of a fuss adout cheating then they do adout the test itself.These sentials watching our every moves, trying to catch one.

Then Sasuke noticed a sentail writing down on the clip board.

Sasuke mind: Somebody just got nailed.Thats another thing, why only a two point decduction?Doesn't make sense, ordinally if some caught cheating even just once, that grounds for dismissal right there.

Sasuke then came to the same conculsion as Melody did and proberly a few others.

Sasuke mind: So thats it.That gotta be it, this is adout more then a written exam.The real aim is not to test our knowledge but our adilty gather infomation.Yeah that explains everything, the Egle eyed sentails everywhere, this incriedly difficult qustions.The fact only two points are decucted for each incident of cheating.

Sasuke mind: Very clever.A ninja must see through decieption, he's not actually forbidding from cheating he's expecting us to, he's daring us to try and cheat and not get caught.Only expectnal Shinobi can get away with it under these cercirmstances.And that what just he looking for, I wonder how many of the others have realised that this test is all adout.Come on Naruto, you can figure it out.Use your head before it too late! Use your head!

But Naruto whos not the is noy very smart when it comes to test is freaking out a bit and doesn't figure out that he can cheat by doing so unoticedly.

Sasuke mind: Okay if the real test if finding a way to steal the answeres withput getting caught, the next question is to figure out who got all the answers

Sasuke noticed Melody infront him seemly is have easy time writing the answers down.

Sssuke knew Melody was the smartest and since she infront of him and will know adout skill on cheating she wouldn't mind as it would help him which help their team mates.

Everyone that is cheating are using metheord to help them do so some more noticedly then others.

One by one some of the genin that caught caught either lost points or where kicked out with their team.

Meanwhile Sakura was just able to answer the qustion without cheating.

Sasuke mind: I'll try writing of her pen.

Sasuke does so able using his Sharigan to copy Melody pen move ment whuch lead to him writting down all the answers he needed.

Soon the test was amlost finshed and everyone who wasn't thrown out or quite are ready to answer the tenth question.

When Ibiki told everyone the tenth questio Naruto barvely stood up and told everyone he won't give up and quite which somehow got him amd everyone to pass the written test which also shocks Naruto too.

Sakura : Hold on! What just happen?!What do you mean we passed!? Wheres the tenth question?!

Ibiki: There never was one, not a written one atleats.Actually your deciden to stay was the answer to the tenth question.

This made the remaing genin question a bit adout the exam.

Temari: What a second!So the other nine question you gave us was just a waste of time?!Is that what your saying?!

Ibiki: No no, not at all.Quite the oppiset, the first nine questions have an importent over writing purpose.To test your abilty to suptitsochly to starticly gather intelligents under the most adverse circemstances.

Meldoy mind: I was right!

Temari: oh well that clears up everything.

Ibiki: Let me explain.

And the male shinobi does so.

Ibiki: See my objective to test you not just as indavidual but as a team.And how well you function as apart of that team.Thats why the test was scored on a team basest, so you know everything did or failed to did will effectly affect your team mates.I wanted to see how you handle the pressure.

Naruto: Yeah I figured something like that, that why I kept my cool.

But Naruto team mates just gave him a are you serious look behind him.

Sakura and Melody mind: Yeah right.

Hinata just quitly giggles at the blond attempt to make himself look cool.

Ibiki: The first nine question on the test were difficult.In fact as you may have realised, too difficult for any genin to expected to slove.I assume most of you quickly came to that conclution.That you had to cheat of any chance of passing.

Ibiki: The fact is, the test was desgin to encourge cheating.It almost demanded it.Of course it would of done you little good if you have some one to cheat from.So I disguise two chunin who already knew the answers and have them sit in with you.

Naruto just lost his mind that he could of gotten the answer right near him.

Naruto mind: Arg! The answers where right infront of me thw whole time!

Melody mind: They were the two ninjas that of a few that I used my eye abilty to look through their eyes to get the answers!I just freaking luckly they and the others didn't even noticed!

Randok ninjas:

'What is that kid problem?'

'I don't know'.

Naruto heard some other genin talking adouting adout him as his twich and try to play it cool again.

Sasuke saw righ through Naruto as he sweat drops.

Sasuke mind: Increidable, so all the time he never knew.

Melody Mind: Both Sakura and Naruto never knew but atleast Sakura atleast did wrote tge answers down.

The purple haired girl also sweat dropped as she was glad once she was finshed writing she was able to turn her Voidgan off as she knew Sasuke also used his sharigan to copy her answer.

Ibiki: Those who were caught at it failed better not to cheat then to cheat clumsly.

Ibiki then take of his hooded head band to reveal all the horrfic scars he gotten from in the past which scared the remaning Genin when they saw what could happen to them.

Ibiki: Infomation.It can be the most vaulbal weapon in battle, how well you gather intellegents can determing the mission a failer ans success.

The purple eyed girl nearly threw u pbut lucky nothing came out.

Ibiki: There'll be times when you have to risk your life to get it.

Sasuke: Man what a mess.Sacrs and puncher wounds, burn marks.What he must of endured.

Melody: Yeah I almost throwed up in my mouth when I saw those old injurys.

Naruto gulp when he saw what could happen to him if he ain't carefull adout gathering infomation.

Ibiki put his head band back on recovering the old injurys.

Ibiki: Of course you always must consider the souce of your infomation.Inteligents gathered from the enemy is not nessercerly accurate,, always bear this in mind.

Melody mind If it keeps me from ending up like him I sure will.

Ibiki: Disinfomation can be worse then no infomation at all.It can lead to the death of comrades or the loss of a village.So thats why I put you in the potison where you have to gather accurate intelligents.Cheat in order to survive and thats why those who weren't good at it were weeded out, Leaving the rest of you.

Temari: Okay but I'm still not getting what the tenth question thing is all adout.

Ibiki: Your not?The tenth question was the main point of the whole exam.Surely you see that.

The genin that pass the first part didn't even know that was the point of the tenth question.

Sakura: Sure but explain it anyway.

The pink girl sort of damned.

Ibiki: As I said before.The goal was not only test you as indaviduals but as part of a squard.The final question gave you two choices, both difficult.You can choose to play it safe and skip the question, though it meant both you and youd team mates would be failed.Or you could try answer it, knowing if you got it wrong, you'll loose your chance of ever being chunin.It was a no win situation.

Ibiki: But that the sort of thing Chunin have to face almost every day.For exsample let me give you an hyerthecial mission.To steal a document from an enemy strong hold.You have no idea how many ninjas has or how heavly armed they are.Further more you have reason to believe that the enemy expects you, that you very well might be walking blindly into a trap.

Ibiki: Now you have the option of taking out the pass on thie insane mission.Would you say my comrades and I would rather live and fight another day?Can you choose to advoid danger?... No!There will be many missions that will seem almost sucidal if you think adout it.

Ibiki: But you do not think adout it.You think only of the goal and achiving it through courge and disapline.These are the requirents of a chunin squard leader.Those who chose the safer of two paths, those who determination who falter in the face of advertity, those who would put there comrades lifes in jeopody by worrying adout their own.

Ibiki: Those who save their own necks of sacred honor, will never be able to calm themselfs Chunin at least as long I'm here!As for the rest of you, you have succesfuly answered the ten questions I put to you.You have earn the right to continue onto the next step.

Ibiki: You have pass through the first gate, I here by this part chunin selection exam completed.There nothing left but to wish you all good luck.

Melody: Wow I didn't expect that speech to be so uh beautiful I guess.And its a miracle that Naruto was able to somehow survive the test as well by only seemly answering the tenth qustion.

Naruto was cheering as now the writting exam is doing and he doesn't have to do it again for awhile.

Ibiki mind: He's a funny one that kid.

But then the shinobi noticed something coming staright to the building before then suddenly the window get smashed into as something came in causing glass to spill onto the floor.

Soon a women appeared with some kuni holding up a gain banner blocking the first proctor.

Anko: Heads up boys and girls!This is no time to be celebrating, I'll be your next proctor, Anko Mirashi.Ready fir the second test! Good lets go follow me!

Everyone was just satring in show of what just happen, wondering if this ninja really is their next proctor.

Melody: What the heck just happen?

Ibiki glaced over from beside the banner.

Ibikki: Your early again.

This made Anko feel a but embrassed as she blushed.

Sakura mind: Great screaming nut case.She reminds me of Naruto.

Anko: How many are there?Ibiki, you let all these guys pass?Your test was too easy, you must be getting soft.

Melody mind: Too easy?!This test was hard to do making sure no one caught us cheating and your saying this guy is getting soft!?

Ibiki: Or it could be a stronger crop of candidates this year.

Anko: Hmm, they sure don't look it.Trust me before I'm done with them.More then half will be elimated.

Sakura: More then half really?!

Anko: This is gonna be fun.Alright you maggits have it easy so far!

Melody mind: Calling a question that hurt properly half of the remain genin in this room brains especialy Narutos to having head aches.

Anko: But things are gonna be different  from starting the first thing in the morning.I'll let your squard leaders know where to meet me.Dismissed.

Melody was just glad and immidely got out of there with her team.

The girl was just happy that first test was over but now the second one but be dangers since no one was basicly killed in the first exam.No one sill get killed cheating in written test unless your a village that is crazy enought to do that.

Timeskip, I don't know when they meet so a few days kLater.

All the genin passed the first exam meet out side of a heavly fenched gaint forest that looks scary and that looks something from like Melody dream.
