-Jin POV-

24 hours.

I was in questioning for 24 hours with Taehyung, the investigators had asked us all kinds of questions.

Even some that were completely uncalled for and inappropriate.

I'm sure after Hoseok, Jungkook, and Jimin recover, they'll be next in questioning.

All I have to do is take a break.

From everything and everyone.

I want to go home.

I can't stand another second at this place, I feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

Especially after what happened.

Hana's father understood where I was coming from after I was done explaining why I need a break, he gladly allowed me to pack my bags and get ready to go home.

He assured me that I can take all the time I need until I decide to come back.

To be honest I wasn't planning on ever coming back, but I figured since things will most likely go back to normal, I would eventually come back.

When I'm ready.

As soon as I arrived at the fraternity house, I shut the door and observed everything.

It all looks normal, like nothing bad ever happened.

But what went on behind these walls is something no one should ever know of.

I took a deep breath and went to my room to begin packing my belongings. I called my mom and told her to come pick me up, but I didn't tell her why just yet.

I'm not even sure if I want to tell her, but the truth has to come out somehow.

I was almost done packing my last suitcase when Taehyung walked inside.

I looked away from his gaze and continued to fold my clothes.

Taehyung sat at his bed.

Silence.

"You're leaving." He spoke.

"Yeah.." I nearly whispered and zipped up my luggage.

He sighed, "I'm leaving too."

I stopped what I was doing and looked at him.

He slowly locked eyes with me.

We didn't say anything.

Taehyung got up and went to retrieve his traveling bag from the closet.

I gulped and began to bring all my bags downstairs.

I guess this is it.

After so much chaos, I'm finally going to put it behind me and try to forget, as well as move on.

I just can't believe it had to end this way, my year ended so horribly that I'm actually scared to come back.

But in the meantime, I'll use this summer to clear my mind.

I had finally finished packing everything I needed and waited outside of the house.

Taehyung soon stepped out with his belongings as well, he took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Mind giving me a lift?" He asked.

As awkward as it is for us at the moment, I nodded and remained silent.

He smiled faintly and looked at the sky, "Thanks.... you know? It's funny how I said this year would be memorable for us at the very beginning."

I nearly glared at him.

He chuckled light heartedly, "I should've never said anything..."

We shouldn't have ever wanted to do anything we did this year.

It makes me want to rip my hair out.

I looked at the ground and wondered.

Should I? Or should I not?

I should.

"Tae..." I began and forced myself to meet his stare.

"What's up?" He asked.

I sighed, "Watch my stuff. I have to go do something before we go."

He nodded, "Ok sure. If your dad gets here before you get back I'll let him know."

"Thanks..." I said and began to head to my last destination.

》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》

This isn't a wise choice for me, but I have got to address this if I'm going to move on with my life and forget this ever happened.

I arrived to medical and asked for Hana, they took me to where she was and I stayed with her for a while.

She was in bed resting as I held her hand, I couldn't believe she was in this state.

The girl I loved, the one who broke my heart, and did me wrong, was innocent the whole time.

But this sadly doesn't change anything.

I'm not going to waste my time with her any longer, especially since she bought this upon me...

Upon everyone.

Sure I feel sorry she got stuck in this mess, but if only she hadn't dragged me in it, maybe this wouldn't be happening.

At least she's alive though.

I'm glad.

However, I don't want her near me.

I may have loved her enough to do almost anything for her, but I'm not dumb enough to forget what she did and live happily ever after with her.

Even if she never intended to hurt me as bad as she did.

Because there's no happy ending as of now...

...and there won't be if I let it stay this way.

As much as it breaks me to do this, I know it's the best choice.

I'm gonna have to move on and leave Hana behind, she was basically a lesson learned for me.

Love comes with consequences.

And in this case, it came with extreme consequences that I couldn't handle.

I was sitting beside her bed when she opened her eyes and met my gaze.

She's as beautiful as the first time I laid eyes on her.

...but now she's just another girl with trouble.

Hana slightly smiled at me.

"I can't do this." I said.

I kept a straight face and got up from my seat.

"Jin." She spoke and tightened her grip around my hand.

I looked down at her.

"Don't go..." she begged, "Please."

Don't go?

She didn't hesitate to let ME go when she dumped me after Christmas break. I know the reason behind that but still, it was cruel. My heart was shattered and I can't forgive anyone that ever does that again.

Especially after all that's escalated.

I wasn't the only one that got hurt in this situation.

I took a deep breath, "I'm sorry Hana, but it's for the best." I told her.

She frowned with watery eyes, "Jin please... I--"

"You broke my heart," I reminded, "..and now I guess... I'm breaking yours."

Hana sobbed, "Jin.. this doesn't have to end--"

"But don't worry." I continued, "Not every relationship is meant to be."

"No, Jin--"

"It's obvious we're never going to be able to be at peace, so lets just never try again." I told her, "It's for our own good."

"Why?" She cried, "I wasn't hurting you intentionally--"

"My friend's almost died." I snapped.

Hana was startled at my sudden response.

I huffed, "Goodbye, Hana. It was good knowing you."

With that I pulled my hand away from hers and left her in there.

My heart felt broken again, but I'm ok, I'll get better as time goes on.

When I went back to where I left Taehyung with my stuff, my dad had already arrived.

I got back in time to help my dad put our things in the car.

Taehyung and I acted like everything was normal, my dad finally began to drive away from campus and all Taehyung and I could do was exchange looks.

We're both grateful no one died.

"Can we come back for Jungkook?" Taehyung asked me.

I nodded, "For sure."

》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》

At last, the year came to an end.

Summer vacation had started.

Graduation for the seniors was celebrated as scheduled.

Jungkook and Jimin, as well as Hoseok and Hana all went home for the summer.

Some were to go back in the fall, and others were not to come back.

Jin took his time clearing his mind as he enjoyed his break with his family.

Eventually he told them what had happened and they were all stunned with what he had gone through.

But as time went on, Jin slowly let go of his past and looked forward to a fresh new start.

About 2 months after he and Taehyung went home, Taehyung and him spoke again and soon enough acted like they hadn't gone through something traumatizing.

They were still the best friend's they were known to be, and both were grateful for that.

Jungkook on the other hand, he wasn't able to speak to anyone just yet and no one judged him.

Jimin reached out to them with an apology, apologizing for what went down and putting their lives in danger.

Jin and Taehyung kept no grudges and accepted him back in their circle, being cautious of course.

And Hoseok, well he had no plans on ever going back to school. He decided to just focus on his career and well being.

Everyone had their own lives to deal with.

One day Jin received a letter from Yoongi, it was sent from the rehabilitation center.

'Jin,I have no idea if you'll ever have the right mind to forgive me, but I hope that you do. I'm sorry for my existence. I will admit that I had bad intentions in mind, but I can assure you that I am glad no one allowed me to do what I planned. Because if so, I know I would be drowning in guilt right now. I'm aware that what I did was uncalled for, but I guess I can say that I overreacted. But just so you know, I know what its like to be heartbroken by the one you love. Trust me. I do. I guess since I was so ashamed of admitting the truth, I started hurting others just to feel better. Starting with you. Hana was a good girl by your side and I had to ruin it for you both. I am truly sorry but I know my words aren't enough to give back. Hopefully you're ok, I hope you're all ok. You don't have to forgive though. Just saying, I deserve all the consequences. Anyways, if you read this, thank you.-민윤기'

A tear fell from Jin's tear duct, he quickly wiped it and put away the letter.

He had no words to say.

He felt as though he should forgive Yoongi for all he caused, but not enough time has passed for Jin to be able to forgive him.

So with that, he kept Yoongi's request in mind, but moved on.

-1 year later-

-Jin POV-

My dad parked right in front of the boys dormitory.

I looked out the window and took a deep breath.

Another year here at this place.

What awaits me? I don't know. But I'll keep my guard up.

"You going in or what?" My dad asked and nudged me.

"Wait." I said.

"What's wrong, Jin? Got cold feet? Haha." Jungkook teased in the back seat.

"He's having a moment. Let him be." Taehyung added.

My friend's.

Tae and Kookie are coming back to school at the same time as me.

We all grew very close during the break.

A year ago I thought it was going to be just another normal year, but it wasn't normal at all. None of it was.

My dad sighed and got out of the car, "Get your things boys."

Now here I am. A year after the tragedy.

Stronger than ever. With a much more open mind too.

Taehyung: Lets get going.

Jungkook: Lets.

Taehyung patted my shoulder, "C'mon Jin, lets get to our dorm and settle in." He said and hopped out of the car.

Once again, we're all dorming together.

None of us are in a fraternity anymore.

After what happened, an investigation was opened once they realized what a joke the fraternity actually was, so the school shut it down.

It doesn't exist anymore.

My friends and I are back in square one, but that doesn't matter. I liked it that way.

I got out of the car and got my things.

"Ok boys. You be careful now. No drama." My dad warned us.

I chuckled, "Thanks for the ride dad."

Taehyung: Thank you so much Mr. Kim.

Jungkook: I find it funny how Taehyung's dad is also called Mr. Kim...

We all laughed.

"Ok well, I'll get going now." My dad said and got in his car.

My friend's and I waved at my dad as he drove off.

I sighed.

Taehyung put his arm over me, "Welp. This is a fresh start. How do you feel?" He asked me.

Jungkook looked at me and awaited my response.

I smiled and looked at them, "I feel like a new and improved person."

They smiled.

I grabbed my bags, "Lets get to our dorm, I'm so tired."

Jungkook chuckled, "Me too! And hungry!"

Taehyung: I actually have some ramen cup noodles we can heat up!

"Sounds yummy." I said and started walking.

We arrived safely to our dorm and settled in calmly.

However...

Taehyung: There's an extra bed. Are we getting a forth roomate?

Jungkook: Probably. The maximum amount of roommates are four.

I shrugged, "I don't care. As long as they aren't psycho." I joked.

The guys chuckled.

Suddenly, just as I said that, someone walked through the door.

Jungkook: Jimin (・_・ヾ

Park Jimin.

He and Jungkook hadn't seen each other since that horrible day.

Jimin was just as in shocked as we were, but after a split second he smiled, "Hey."

Taehyung: Are you our new roomate?

Jimin: Looks like it.

He walked inside and set his bags on his bed then took a seat.

Jungkook looked uncomfortable.

"I didn't know you were coming back." I said.

Jimin: Me neither.

Jungkook: Welcome back then.

Jimin locked eyes with Jungkook.

Taehyung felt the slight tension and cleared his throat, "I guess we can all start on a good plate. Right, guys?"

"Right." I said and looked at Jungkook.

He was staring at Jimin, almost as if he was remembering what Jimin did for him.

"Jungkook." I said.

The young one snapped out of it and smiled, "Right."

Jimin smiled back and began to unpack his things.

Seems like this year will be yet another year with obstacles we'll have to face. But hopefully, we won't have to deal with major obstacles like before.

The guys and I all settled in and went ahead to see whats up on campus.

There was so many club displays on campus for new incomers interested in joining.

I however, have no interest in joining anything. This is my last year and I just want to enjoy it without having to worry about so much.

Taehyung was with me while Jungkook and Jimin went to sign up for a dance club.

"Do you think they'll give each other another chance?" Taehyung asked me as we walked around the fair.

I sighed, "Without a doubt."

His eyes lit up, "Really."

"Yeah? Jimin took a bullet for him. Wouldn't you be grateful for someone who does that for you?" I asked.

"It depends." He said, "I like girls."

I laughed, "Thats not the point but whatever."

He giggled and looked around, "Oh! A vocal club! We should sign up!"

"Nah." I rejected, "I'm not signing up for anything. You could go if you want."

"Aw are you sure? It'll be fun!" He encouraged.

I shaked my head, "No thanks, I'm good."

He rolled his eyes, "Suit yourself." He said and walked away from me.

I giggled and continued to look around the displays and see what other clubs are up for offers.

One club in particular caught my eye.

The cooking club.

Sounds cheesy, but I like cooking.

I walked up to the banner and took a flyer, I skimmed through it and actually debated if I should reconsider my decision about joining anything.

Hmmm..

"Are you interested in joining the cooking club?" A girl asked me.

"Maybe." I said without looking at her, I couldn't see her face since I held the flyer in front of my face.

"Well if you are by any chance, sign here and I'll tell you all about it!" She said kindly.

In some strange way, I recognize that voice but I don't care enough to remember much.

I sighed, "You know? I think I will. Where do I sign?" I asked.

"On this clipboard." She said and giggled.

"Perfect." I said and put down the flyer.

We locked eyes at last.

!!

....Hana.

Silence.

My heart didn't feel anything as I stared at her, observing her.

A tear dropped from her tear duct.

What do I do?

"..Jin." she uttered.

"...Hana."

She sniffled and wiped away her tear, "Hey."

I gulped, "Hello."

"You're back." She said and forced a smile, "I didn't know."

"No one does. Yet." I assured.

She nodded and cleared her throat, "So are you going to sign or..."

I know I shouldn't, but just because she'll be in the same club does not mean anything.

I smiled warmly, "I am."

I took the clipboard from her and signed my name.

She watched me.

"Done." I said and handed back the clipboard.

Hana placed it down on the desk.

Awkward silence.

"Well uh... I'll see you around." I said.

"Wait, Jin." She said.

I looked at her, "Hm?"

Hana stared into my eyes briefly and smiled, "I'm glad you decided to come back."

I chuckled, "Me too. I'm glad you're doing ok."

"You too." She replied.

"Heh. Yeah well.. see ya in cooking." I teased.

She giggled, "Ok..."

I walked away waving goodbye

It's actually good seeing her again.

But I made a vow and I'm sticking to it.

Hana will only be another girl I know.

I'm not even looking for a girlfriend or anything, girls are trouble.

This year will be different. Better actually.

I know it.

"Yo Jin!" Taehyung said and ran to me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I signed us up to pledge for a fraternity!"

(;¬_¬) I glared at him.

He giggled, "Just kidding~ I bought us these cool sweaters." He said and handed me one.

I remained serious.

Taehyung patted my back, "Relax, it was a joke."

"How could you joke like that?" I asked.

"Cookies!" He cheered and ran to the booth selling goodies.

I sighed and followed.

》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》》

Time went on and the year went smoothly for Jin and the boys.

Jin and Hana remained as friend's. Neither of them had intentions of getting back together, it was better that way.

Jungkook and Jimin eventually ended up dating again, this time they would last a long while.

Despite the trauma they suffered, they knew they couldn't find anyone else that would share what they shared.

Which was obviously something special.

Taehyung ended up finding a girl of his own that actually understood him and his strange goofy acts.

(A/N: I didn't edit those pictures nor do I know who the girl is but apparently its a girl named Seunghee from CLC. Credit to the rightful owner; Nadsehwang)

He was as happy as can be.

Everyone was content with their lives, even Jin.

Although he had no love at the end, he didn't care. He would rather wait patiently until he finds a girl who truly makes him happy and has good intentions for the both of them.

"One day I'll be happy with someone. I know it. I just gotta wait patiently, my soulmate hasn't found me. And that's ok."

"How will you know if she's the one?"

Jin took a deep breath and smiled, "Trust me. I'll know when she's My Girl"
