-New Years-

"Ahhhh man..I'm glad you're having a blast with Yoongi, for sure you're in." I said to Taehyung on the phone.

"Nah I wouldn't count on it. Besides, I didn't become super close with him just to get in. That'd be wrong. I actually like being around Yoongi, he's so chill."

I chuckled. "That's good I suppose..have you heard from Jungkook? He hasn't answered my calls.."

"Didn't you hear? He went up to like.. I dunno some amusement park up in some mountain..I forgot where. But he's been staying there this whole break, he told me his hotel room has a hot Jacuzzi and HD TV, with Wi-Fi and all. And the amusement park itself is so much fun. He's gone snowboarding and figure skating, he's also grown really close with Jimin."

Jimin.

"Mm..well..when was the last time you spoke to him?"

"Mm..I forgot. But it was quite a while ago."

"Oh."

Hope Jimin didn't do anything.

"How was your break?"

My break has been so far the best, Hana and I couldn't have been more happier. We were so made for each other.

However we agreed to stay on the low until further notice. I don't mind, I know soon everyone will know we're together.

"Jin?"

"Sorry..I was just smiling to myself."

"Hehe wae?"

"No reason. I had a good restful break.. spending time with family was really all I needed."

"Ahh that's great. Well I have to go, I'm going shopping with Yoongi. Annyeong! Oh! And Happy New Year!"

I chuckled. "Happy New Year man..see you soon."

I sighed.

"Hey~"

I smiled. "Hey you."

She kissed me.

"Tonight is the start of something big."

"Mhm. I wonder what?"

She giggled. "I'm going shopping, you want to come?"

I nodded.

We got into my dads car and drove off, Hana fixed her makeup while I was driving.

"Why do you wear makeup?" I asked.

She scoffed. "To be pretty. Duh?"

"Most girls look good without makeup, especially you."

"So what are you saying? I look ugly with it?"

"No no..its not that. You're flawless is what I'm saying."

She blushed.

"And I hate kissing you when you wear lip gloss..ugh it gets all over my lips."

She giggled and slapped my arm. "Shut up babo."

I chuckled.

We got to the mall and began to explore all the stores there. Hana got what she needed for tonights party. Now we're just looking for heels -_-

"What do you think of these?" She said.

"Mhm. They're cute."

"You've said that the last 14 times."

"Oh so you're counting.."

She sighed. "Babe.."

"Okay okay.." I observed the other pairs. "Ah.. these are nice. Silver diamond ones."

"I have those."

She laughed. "Fine fine..how about..oh these!"

Hana lifted up a pair of gold heels with one single diamond on the middle.

"Whoa..those are actually..really beautiful."

"These are it."

"How much is it?"

She checked the price. "Never mind.. it's $500.." she put them back.

"What?! $500 for a pair of heels?"

"Mhm..no big deal. I'm tired of shopping anyways, I'll just wear some heels I have at home. No big deal."

"Are you sure? We can check another store?"

"No. I'm tired. Lets go."

We got back into my car and drove home.

I can tell she's a bit upset she couldn't afford the heels. Maybe I'll come back for them and buy them for her? I mean.. I kinda could afford it..

-at home-

Mrs. Shin: Honey, back so soon? Did you get what you needed?

She nodded without a glance and ran upstairs.

Mom: Is she alright, Jin?

"She's fine..just tired from shopping..heh."

Dad: Jin come.

Okay.

I walked into the living room and sat across from him at the couch.

"Son, are you and Hana dating?"

Crap. I'm caught.

"May I remind you..she's my best friends daughter..do you have any idea what kinda power he has?"

And that's when I realized my dad was a pussy.

"Dad I-"

"If you break her heart..we're done for."

"Dad?"

Mr. Shin: I doubt Jin will ever do that to my daughter.

Dad: Oh..hey man..you startled me.

Mr. Shin: You think I'd ever hurt you? Come on man that's absurd. You're my r.o.d, even if your son ever broke my daughter's heart..I personally wouldn't get involved.

Lies.

Dad: Oh..

"Ahem. I'm going now.."

Mr. Shin: Checking up on your girlfriend~

Weird!

I got back into my dads car.

"Hana? Are you there.."

"Yeah, come in."

I smiled and walked in.

"Hey babe. What do you think?"

A sexy black dress always looks good on a girl, well, the color black I mean.

"Beautiful as always."

She sighed. "I hate these red heels though.."

"Oh..then why don't you change into these gold ones ^-^?"

She gasped once I held out the pair of gold heels from the mall.

"Jin! How'd you..when did you-"

"I have super powers, keep it a secret haha."

She laughed. "Aigoo..they're so beautiful!"

"Here, allow me."

I carefully slipped off her red heels and slipped on her gold ones.

"There." I stood up.

She looked in the mirror. "I love them!"

I smiled.

Hana turned around and kissed me again. "Thank you so much."

"It's no big deal. Let's go, we're leaving soon."

-at the New Year's Eve Party-

Again I'm surrounded by many wealthy looking people. Many beautiful girls out here tonight, my mom and my sister AND my girlfriend being part of them. Haha.

My dad seems like he's had a blast with an old pal, and looks like my mom has gotten pretty close with Mrs. Shin.

Betsy definitely has a memory to always remember.

As for me, I'm just really overwhelmed how much has happened throughout the break.

The guys won't believe me when I tell them

"Jin."

My eyes widen. "Oh crap! Namjoon..what are you doing here?!"

He chuckled. "Did you forget we're cousins? ...unfortunately."

I chuckled. "Oh yeah.."

Even though I pledged for BTS Fraternity, Namjoon still neglects me as his cousin. But it's all good, if I get in he'll have to deal with me.

"Have you received anything in the mail yet?" He asked.

"No, why?"

"Mm. Just asking."

Are they sending out letters to those who did and didn't get in?! Aigo! I have to call the guys.

Mom: Namjoon! Oh my goodness!

Namjoon: Auntie~ whats up?

They hugged.

Mom: You made it! Where's my sister?

Namjoon: My mom's by the entrance saying hello to a few.

He smiled warmly.

Mom: Thank you. Happy New Year.

Namjoon: 새 해 복 많이 받으세요입니다. (Happy New Year)

She walked off.

"Your mom has gotten so beautiful, what about you? When are you going to bloom?" He said.

I rolled my eyes.

He chuckled. "Hey I'm just kidding."

Yeah right.

Betsy: Namjoon!

Namjoon: Heeeyyy!

He carried her.

Namjoon: You look like a princess tonight.

Betsy: kekeke

Namjoon: Hey? How about you dance with me?

Betsy: Yes! For sure!

He put her down and she pulled him to the dance floor. I smiled.

I wasn't expecting Namjoon to be here.

"Hey baby."

I spun around and smiled. "Hey."

Hana~

"I was thinking..how about we go back to the mansion a little early?"

Huh?

"Wae?"

She kissed me softly. "To spend a little.. time alone.. celebrating." She bit her lip.

Does she mean..

"Hana?"

She gasped and moved away. "Namjoon!"

What the hell? Wasn't he just on his way to dance with Betsy?

Namjoon: Hey? I'm surprised to see you here..

Hana: Uh..yeah?

She looked at the ground shyly.

Why is she acting strange?

Namjoon: Yoongi's been trying to get in contact with you.

What?

Her eyes slightly widen.

Hana: Oh..I haven't gotten any calls..heh

Namjoon: You always send him to voicemail.

...

Hana: I don't know what you're talking about.

Something isn't right here.

Namjoon: Did you know she was going to be here?

"Me?" I pointed at myself.

Namjoon: No the ceiling. -_-

"Uh..ye-"

Hana: No. He didn't. In fact, I don't know why you're both here.

What?!

"Hana-"

Namjoon: Why are you getting upset?

Hana: I'm not. If you'll excuse me, I have some guest to attend.

She stormed off.

What the hell?

"Jin."

I looked at Namjoon.

"Heads up, stay away from that girl."

"Wh-why do you say that?" I asked.

"Just listen to me. That girl..she's trouble. Confused..not someone you want to deal with."

What the fuck .-.

"Hana's harmless..?"

He laughed. "Yeah sure..happy new year."

He walked off.

I don't even want to overthink what he said. But I'm going to look for my girlfriend.

As i walked through the crowd I searched for Hana. But of course I had no luck.

I sighed.

"Hey Jin."

"Jackson? Uh..hi?"

"What's up man."

What is he doing here? Was he invited? From who?

"Nothing." I said.

"Have you seen Hana?"

...

"No."

"Hm. She told me to meet her soon, but I can't seem to find her."

Uhm..what?

"Do you think I should ask her out?"

"No!" I exclaimed.

He startled.

Oh shit..

"Ahem. Why? Wh-..why? Why, do you like h-her?" I stuttered.

He nodded. "Hana's a beautiful girl. Of course I'd ask her out if I like her. But I'm not sure if she likes me back."

"How do you know?"

"Because she-"

"Jackson! Hey." Hana said interrupting me.

"Hana~" he hugged her.

She pulled away. "Glad you made it."

"You invited him?!" I exclaimed.

She nodded. "I did."

Why?!

Jackson: Hana, wow..you look..wow.

She blushed.

Am I being punked?

Hana: Gamsahabnida. Let's go dance?

What?!

Dance?!

Jackson nodded and escorted her to the dance floor.

Did she just disregard me?

Wow.

My heart never been more used than ever.

I'm leaving.

Without shedding a tear I fled the place, fuck this, fuck new years, fuck everyone here. Fuck this break. Fuck everything!

Angrily I started the car and drove off.

Hana's such a ...ugh! I can't even be sure if I want to be upset with her. I mean, we did agree we'd stay on the low. But that shit she just pulled, really makes me question shit. Are we ever going to announce our status? Am I just her secret? Is she playing me?! WHAT IS SHE DOING?!

I arrived back at Hana's mansion and stumbled inside. I took a shower and remained in my room angry.

Why did Hana react like that?

Could she be really playing me?

I really doubt everything now, I just want to go home..

I checked the time.

11:30pm.

Just thirty more minutes until the new year

Yet here I am.

Alone.

I pouted.

Suddenly I have the urge to compose. Where's my book? I fumbled through my bag and whipped out my lyric book.

Haven't looked in this since.. well since I pledged.? I went downstairs to the room where the piano was. I sat down and adjusted myself.

When was the last time I played this? When I was 15 probably.

I observed the key notes and slowly, began to play one of my favorite songs.

I pressed on a wrong key note which ruined the whole song.

I glared at Hana who was standing by the entrance.

Without a word I got up and grabbed my book, then I proceeded out the room. I passed by Hana without a glance.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked.

I stopped and sighed.

Do i really want to deal with this?

"Jin..I'm sorry. I wasn't acting myself."

I turned around. "Do I look like an idiot to you? I wasn't born yesterday, Hana. It's obvious you don't want to be with me."

Her eyes widen at my response.

I rolled my eyes and proceeded upstairs.

She followed me.

"Of course I want to be with you Jin?! Are you really mad I danced with Jackson?!"

"It isn't that! You acted so strange! Like you didn't want them to know we were together. I never felt so ignored in my life."

"Jin I'm sorry! What was I supposed to do?! We agreed we wouldn't let them know yet!"

"Tell me Hana, are we ever going to announce we're together?! huh?"

"Yes.."

"Liar! I don't believe you. And what's with Namjoon confronting you about Yoongi?!"

"That isn't important."

"Oh it isn't?"

"No."

I'm not going to bother.

"Ok. So get out of here."

"This is my house, Jin!"

"Fine. I'll go then."

"What?!"

She blocked the doorway before i could leave. "Move, Hana." I said.

"Jin, please. Let me explain."

"Explain what? That you're playing me?"

She kissed me.

I pushed her slightly. "No, Hana. I'm goi-"

She kissed me.

"Han-"

She kissed me.

"Stop!"

"No!"

"Hana.!"

"Jin!"

I groaned.

She hugged me. "Don't leave me..not like he did."

He?

"Hana.."

"Jin I'm so sorry..I really am. It was wrong of me to act that way. It was stupid and childish. I promise we can announce we're together when we get back to school."

... .-.

"We can?"

She nodded and kissed me. "Please don't leave me, you're a great guy. You're special, I don't want anyone to have you unless it's me."

My heart throbbed, I never thought I'd hear these words from her.

She kissed me. "Mm?"

I embraced her and kissed her forehead. "I forgive you..I'm always going to be here for you. I promise."

She smiled and kissed me again.

I kissed her back.

We exchanged kisses until we were practically undressing each other. I kept walking backwards until she slammed me on the bed. I sat up and continued to kiss her as she unbuttoned my shirt. I removed her dress.

She got on top of me and kissed my chest.

This is really happening..

"Jin.." she whispered.

I looked at her.

She looked deeply into my eyes. "I love you.." she whispered.

I grinned and kissed her, then I grabbed her and got her under my grip.

We caressed each other so delicately and passionately. I smiled within each kiss.

"I want you, Jin.." she whispered.

I nodded. "I want you too, Hana."

The sweet sounds that left Hana's lips was literally music to my ears. Never did I imagine my first time would be with Hana. This is just the start of something big, just like she said. I hold no regrets. I love her, and I promise to always protect her and make her smile.

"Hana.."

"Jin.."

The next morning I didn't find Hana beside me, but I figured she went back to her room before anyone caught us in bed together naked. Today's the day I go back home. I'm pretty excited yet bummed because i won't see Hana until school starts.

I got changed and packed my belongings then went downstairs.

Mrs. Shin: Jin~ where were you last night? Happy new year!

I smiled. "I got sick..but I'm fine now. And happy new year."

Mom: sick? Are you okay?

"Yeah ma..I'm fine."

More than fine. I feel like a new born baby.

Mr. Shin: Hana's in the backyard if you're wondering.

Mrs. Shin: Honey -_-

Mr. Shin: What?

I chuckled and walked out.

"Hey!"

I smiled and hugged her. "Happy New Year."
