Chapter 6
05:31, 5 March 2015"You agree with him now?" Dylan said. He was having a hard time believing that anything Newt said was a good idea.
"Yes I do because I heard it myself. If you won't believe him then you can believe me," she said. They had obviously known each other a long time and he trusted her.
"Okay fine, but how are we supposed to get there?" he asked.
Newt looked at Alex. She was better at explaining things to Dylan since he wouldn't believe Newt anyway.
"Well... we don't know for sure, but we think that this is WICKED's Berg,"
"Why would this be WICKED's Berg?"
"Newt told me that they have some Bergs, but they're unmarked. And I'm pretty sure that normal Bergs would not have any people from WICKED casually talking about the experiment. Maybe they had a secret Berg in the station and it was accidentally used for evacuations."
Dylan didn't seem convinced. "So you're not even sure? Just a suspition?"
Alex nodded. "Pretty much,"
"I think that a secret hide away for immunes is a little far fetched don't you?"
Alex opened her mouth to argue but he cut her off. "I think we need to make sure this is WICKED's Berg before we make anymore decisions," he said.
"We need to find a place to hide. I don't think these people are just going to let us stay here when everyone leaves," Newt said.
Alex nodded her agreement. "After that, Dylan can go explore this Berg himself."

They found a hatch in an out-of-the-way hall that led to some kind of cargo hold. It was perfect except for the fact that the only light came from a single yellow bulb that burned faintly above them.
The three of them sat in the flickering yellow light until Dylan decided that he was ready to find his own proof.
"Stay here. If I'm not back in twenty minutes, come looking for me," he said.
Alex nodded and he disappeared up the hatch.
Newt was once again, alone with Alex. It seemed like she wanted to ask him somthing.
"What is it?" he said.
She looked startled. "What's what?"
"You want to say something. What is it?"
She looked down. "Uhh... I was just wondering how you got that limp. But if it's a personal thing then you don't have to tell me."
He was surprised. "You noticed the limp?" Newt normally tried to hide it but with everything that was going on, he wasn't even trying.
She nodded, still not looking up. "I sometimes pay too much attention to details. Like how Dylan has a small hole in the back of his shirt, or how it seems like you haven't eaten a decent meal in days."
Newt nodded. That was true. He hadn't eaten very well. He suddenly wanted a huge steak and a candy bar.
She had looked up at him and was staring at him expectantly. "I uhh, was in an accident. In the Maze."
One of her eyebrows rose like she knew he was keeping something from her. But she didn't push him any further.
They settled into a comfortable silence. Newt closed his eyes and almost fell asleep. Before long, Dylan came back.
He was right on time too. Alex was about to go look for him.
When he had settled down next to Alex, he looked at Newt. "Okay, dude. You were right. There is some secret place where immunes are and this is WICKED's Berg."
Newt smiled. "Never should have bloody doubted me right?" he said sarcastically.
"Whatever," Dylan muttered.
Alex chuckled and he glanced at her, trying to hold his crown but ended up breaking into a smile.
"But really there's something else I found out."
"What's that?" Alex said, suddenly interested.
"This Berg is headed for WICKED's headquarters.
