2 - everyone does

"Come on guys let's go dance!" Seolla said and dragged everyone to the dance floor.

The dance floor was packed. So many people came in their costumes. You can tell some people really made an effort on their outfits and some just did theirs last minute. There were people dressed in animals, movie characters and some even dressed as objects.

The loud music playing made everyone dance harder. Some were grinding on each other and the others were just dancing and letting all their worries go away. The air was a mixture of sweat, alcohol and smoke from either vape or cigarettes.

Nevertheless, this wasn't anything new for the four.

Jay was nowhere to be seen. Seolla was already hitting it off with Haechan on the dance floor. Jake was making out with a girl dressed as a cheerleader, and Jieun was by herself on the dance floor.

"Well hello, there cupid" A male dressed in a spiderman suit approached Jieun. "fancy meeting you here, spiderman?" Jieun raised a brow. The boy had his spider mask on which made it hard for Jieun to recognize him.

"Do I know you?" She continued to question the mysterious guy. "Nope, but I do" He smiled under the mask. Jieun rolled her eyes before making a smug face, "everyone does".

She wasn't wrong Jieun was quite famous around the area. She had a small pale face with plump lips and a slender body. Which easily made her famous on Instagram, she grew and had 20k followers and is still growing. She had appeared on many start-up apparel brands and did some modelling here and there.

"Now if you'll excuse me-" "Come on just one dance?" He cut her off. "Sorry handsome, but I've got my eyes on someone else, which is not you," She said bluntly.

"Handsome? Babe, you haven't even seen my face?" He tsk and moved closer to the girl. "So you're gonna show me?" She smirked. "I'm afraid not my lady" He placed his hands on her waist and naturally they began dancing. "So I'll take that as a yes, you will dance with me" He smiled.

"Hmmm" Jieun just hummed along. "Why can't I see your face?" She pouted. "Because if you do you might fall for me" He smirked under his mask.

"Oh don't worry Mr spidey I don't do relationships" She titled her head as she sway her hips from side to side. The boy took a good look at her.

Her white lingerie was almost see-through, showing her skin and underwear. Although she had a slender figure, she had the right amount of curves here and there and her chest was still full and voluminous enough to his liking. In other words, she was hot. And now he finally gets what's all the hype about her is.

"and why don't you do relationships?" he questioned back. "because relationships are dumb, you talk and get to know each other, you go on cute dates and eventually you break up and then you're sad and hurting all alone," She smiled and booped him on the nose.

Surprised by her reply, "Wow, you sound experienced, did someone hurt you?" He laughed. "Nope," She said emphasizing the P. "I've actually never dated before, I read everything from books and made up way too many fake scenarios in my head" She laughed at her own comment,

"and besides why go on and get to know someone for months when you can immediately skip to the good parts" She smirked. "which is?" the boy questioned again. "hmm, going on dates, making out and having sex" She replied bluntly.

"You're weird, but I like it." He gave a small smile. "Alright, your 10 minutes is up, I gotta go now Mr Spidey" She winked and gave him a kiss on his right cheek. Her lipstick staining his mask. She pulled away before disappearing into the crowd leaving spiderman all baffled.

"Wow is that a kiss on your cheek?" Jeno teased. Mark quickly took off his mask to see a red stain on the right cheek. without knowing a small smile formed on his lip as he looked at the stain.

"oh dude, you're down bad!" Jaehyun teased and Mark rolled his eyes. "Where's haechan?" Mark asked the two, as it was now just the three of them at the table. "He's making out with Tinkerbell" Jeno smiled.

"So, mind telling us who's the lucky girl? Surprise that you'd let someone kiss your cheek" Jaehyun asked as he chugged his beer. "You guys know her, Park Jieun, and no I didn't let her kiss me, she did it on her own" Mark replied. "Wow, you sure you wanna date an Instagram influencer?" Jeno asked.

"no one said anything about dating dude, besides she doesn't do relationships" Mark eyed the girl who was now with a new dude on the dance floor. "10 minutes in and you already know her so well, you're amazing marker" Jaehyun teased. 

"10 minutes in and she already turned me down... to think I'll be getting some action tonight," Mark replied with the same tone. "No way, a girl turned you down?" Jeno and Jaehyun was shocked.

"I had my mask on, she probably didn't know it was me" Mark shrugged. 

"but if you think about it, she's not just any other girl, Jieun has her own status too, she has boys lining up trying to get in her pants, she probably thinks that you're one of those freaks" Jeno said. 

Mark was definitely intrigued by the girl. The way her pretty face and her personality had no correlation turned him on even more. Not to mention she has a pretty hot body. He was interested in the girl and wants to know her better. In fact, it would be a total score if he gets to spend the night with her.

Mark stays quiet as she stared at the girl. Jieun was making her way towards her table where Jay and Jake sat. She felt a pair of eyes on her. She looked around to see a guy in a spiderman suit was looking at her but this time the mask is off. Revealing an indeed very handsome face.

Jieun was shocked, not because of his looks but because he had rejected Mark. The Mark Lee from engineering. The two kept eye contact for a while before Jieun quickly broke it and dashed towards her friends.

"OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS!!! KILL ME NOW!!" She bawled as buried his face in her hands. Mark stared in confusion from the other table, still looking at her.

"what happened?" Jake asked worried about her sudden strange behaviour. "bet she hooked up with someone ugly, she always gets pissed about it." Jay laughed. "IT'S SERIOUS OKAY??" She half yelled.

"So tell us," Jay replied. "it's worse this time I rejected a hot guy," She frowned, " that's it?" Jay said. "No that's not it, he's not just a hot guy, he's Mark Lee, from engineering" Jieun wept. Jay almost choked on his drink and Jake stared at the girl in disbelief.

"Girl how could you?" Jay said. "I know, I know" she continued to frown. "Can't believe you really lost that chance," Jake said.

"Captain of the basketball team and an engineering scholar, do you know why they call him the jack of all trades? that's because he's good at everything and even better in bed" Jay smirked adding oil to the fuel. Jieun glared at him. "Just letting you know..." He shrugged.

Mark was indeed very popular in their uni. He was smart, good looking, and is a literal sweetheart. But unlike Jaehyun he doesn't go around collecting body counts. Instead, he just sleeps around sometimes, not looking for anything serious. Some said that he turned gay after his last break-up with his ex who is now in Canada, which is why he hasn't dated anyone for years. 

"Well, don't look right now but he's staring at you," Jake said as he found Mark who was still staring at her a few tables away. "What do I do?" Jieun cried, "he's gonna tell his friends that I was being a bitch, and his friends are gonna know, and once his friends know, the whole school will know. THEN! I'll be the joker of the whole school!!! I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN!!" Jieun whined and cried.

"thought you always knew that you were a bitch?" Jay joked and Jieun hit him in the shoulder. "I bet it's not that bad..." Jake tried to comfort Jieun. "trust me its very bad, you've messed with the wrong person Jieun," Jay stated before continuing, 

"Mark and his friends are mad popular in uni dude, remember Jinna? she said Jeno's dick was small, then the next day she became the talk of the town," Jay said trying to scare Jieun. "Dude you're not helping!" Jieun wept again. 

"I guess the only choice right now you have is to woo him," Jake said. "What do you mean..." Jieun said fixing her makeup, 

"Go show him you regret turning him down, give him a good time so he won't say anything bad about you..." Jake explained. "But, he'll think that I only came crawling back to him because of his popularity..." Jieun said.

"isn't that the whole problem here in the first place heh" Jay laughed, Jieun hitting him again. "YOU!" 

"Fine! but how do I go talk to him... he's with his friends... I don't want to seem desperate" She turned to look over to Mark who was drinking and talking to his friends. 

"That's for you to find out young lady," Jake said and patted her back, "Good luck babe!" Jay cheered!" 

Jieun stood up from her seat and proceed to walk to where Mark was.

Feeling a presence coming towards him, Mark played hard to get trying to ignore Jieun. As much as he wants her right now, he can't. He has his ego too. 

Jieun stood there for a while looking at him hoping he'll notice her. But sadly Jeno was the first to speak up making the boys turn their heads towards her. 

"What do you want sweetheart?"Jeno raised a brow. "Uhm.. can I borrow Mark for a while?" She smiled sweetly. "I don't know can you?" Mark smirked seeing how worked up he got her. 

"Please?" Jieun pleaded with her puppy eyes. Which immediately worked on Mark. Mark stood up and followed Jieun to a less crowded space. 

"So, how can I help you Ms Park" Mark said as he kept his hands in his pockets. "You know me?" Jieun replied shocked that the Mark Lee knows her. 

"everyone does" Mark said mocking her tone.

His reply made Jieun scoffed. "so this is how it's gonna be huh?" She scowl. 

"Look I'm sorry for turning you down just now, I didn't know who you were okay?" Jieun said and folded her arms. 

"So you are indeed in it only for my status, huh?" Mark questioned her apology. "Well, I don't just sleep with anyone duh! what if you were some weird old 40-year-old man under that mask?" She defended. "Fine" He replied. 

"Okay come on, let's go" Jieun said and grabbed his wrist, dragging him to follow her. "Where are we going?"
