10: Love this little life

"How are you feeling baby?" I heard Reneé say as we sat on FaceTime together. I finished my spoon of ice cream before responding."I'm okay. Better than yesterday, just so freaking tired." I explained as I gathered another scoop. If there was one thing I loved about Texas, it was blue bell ice cream. I heard my name being called and stood up. "Okay Nae, I'm heading back now I'll call you when I leave," I said and she nodded."Okay talk to you later baby, love you," "Love you too boo," I hung up following the woman back to the room."Alrighty if you can just wait here, and we'll be right with you," I nodded, and hopped up into the chair, waiting for my turn. Soon there were two soft knocks, before the door pushed open."Alrighty how are we doing today Ms. Murray?" She asked as she washed and sanitized her hands. "I'm good, sorry I'm trying to hurry and scarf this last bite down," I said making her laugh a little. I did so as she placed her gloves on, offering to toss the container for me."Trust me I was the same way my first time around. So it says we are just reaching four months. How are we feeling?" She wise as she typed on her computer setting everything up."I feel really good honestly. No issues, now worries. Just been craving ice cream so bad. But that's it. Our little big is a great baby," I said as I dialed Kyle's number. It rang twice beside he finally picked up. "Hey Y/n/n my bad. Your here already?" He asked as I nodded."We were just shit to get started, how's everything going dad?" Dr. Haan asked as Kyle smiled."Great, just excited to see baby," he said as she smiled."I love you guys so much. Alrighty let's see that baby," she said as she turned in the ultrasound machine. Which the press of a few buttons, she placed the gel on my belly and began pressing the wand into it. Soon the little baby popped onto the screen. I flipped the camera so Kyle could see and I could see him tearing up."Oh my gosh. Look at it. Hi peanut, I'm your auntie y/n," I cooed. Dr. Haan smiled before taking her measurements and what not."So, are we wanting to know the gender?" She asked and Kyle froze."Uh yeah. But could you write it down for me. We're doing gender reveal," she nodded and I turned the camera onto myself while she looked and before she cousin even write it down just gasped."Is everything okay?" She asked as I laughed a little, nodding. "Yeah everything's perfect I just saw it before I realized it. I'm glad I turned the camera around," I said as she smiled. She still handed me an envelope before letting me know to scheduled my next appointment at the front desk. I did so while still staying on the phone with Kyle. "Oh my gosh I'm literally so excited ugh! I can't wait to plan the gender reveal for yall. Yall are gonna be so excited," I cheered. He laughed happily. "I know you're tired of hearing it, but seriously thank you so much y/n. We seriously appreciate you more than you'll ever know," he said making me smile."Always Ky. But let me call Nae back, I'll talk to you later," I said as he nodded. I hung up and dialed my girlfriend but no answer. I frowned before shrugging and heading to Melany's house. On the way I'd excited to stop for ice cream once again, and treat myself. I posted the first picture with my bump and the comments and likes were going so crazy.

I knew I would have to announce it soon because I have brand partnerships coming soon that would require me being in public with my bump. I had to actually explain too, because if not topple would get the wrong idea and that's the last thing I need. I pulled into the driveway and used my key to open the door. Koda came running and I smiled as he hoped on me."Woah, gentle baby. Hi big boy, how are you? Did you miss you mommy?" I cooed in a baby voice as I rubbed his head. He was growing by the day as was damn near at my hip already. Mel walked in and I smiled seeing her. Although I had been here for like two weeks, I barely saw her because our schedules were so hectic."Hey big mama. How was the appointment?" She asked as I smiled, pulling the pictures from my bag. "look how cute. And I know the gender so we cans aren't planning the reveal party. Ugh I'm so happy for Kyle and Noah," I gushed as she clapped, excitedly. "Yay! I'm so excited. Oh your girlfriend told me to tell you to call her," she said as I furrowed my eyebrows. "I called her and she didn't pick up. Hold on lemme try again," I grabbed my phone dialing Reneé and this time it picked up. "Hey baby, sorry I called you earlier but it didn't go through I guess," I said as she smiled."No worries baby, just checking on you. I got some good news, I'll be back tot he states in a few days," she said as I gasped happily. "Ugh finally! I miss you so much," I said as she nodded."Yeah I told them I needed to get back to my very pregnant wife and all of a sudden things magically got moved up," she said making me chuckle. "Hold on, Mel hand me my iPad. I'm finna go live on TikTok to kind of explain belly, since I posted him," I said as Reneé caught it and gasped."It's a boyyyy? Oh my heart," she gushed I smiled nodding. "Don't say anything though. Mel and I are planning the guys a gender reveal," I said as she nodded. I started the live and propped it up ehodre looking t my phone. "I'm on live baby, so yeah," I said warning her because sometimes she would say the most off the wall shit, unwarrantedly. Once a good amiutn of people piled in I gave the iPad my full attention. "Hey, okay so I know yall have a million and one questions. So I decided to egg in Kiev and answer them for yall. Speak now or forget hold your peace cause this will be the first and only time I'm doing this," I said as they starts flying in. "Okay, imma just read them as they come in. How are you doing right now, mentally? Oh that's so sweet. Uh I'm okay, I have really good people in my corner and I'm giving myself a lot of grace so I think I'm in a pretty good space," I said before reading another question. "Are you pregnant? Yes, I am 18 weeks today, so about 4/5 months. Halfway through," I answered I smiled at all the congratulations messages. "Did I do ivf? Okay so yes in away. The baby in carrying is actually not my baby. I'm a surrogate for one of my  closest friends. So yeah. I'm actually belly's TT, not their mommy," I explained clearing the air."Hey baby, I'm gonna go eat I'll call you later," Nae said. Soon comments saying let us talk to Reneé came in. "Okay lovey. They wanna say hi to you really fast. I showed my phone screen to the iPad as she smiled waving. "Hi Y/n/n's fans. We love yall, be nice and don't stress my baby out," she said as I laughed a little. "Okay bye baby," I hung up and stayed on live a little longer before getting off to go out to dinner with Melany.
