"Are we seriously about to do this?"

"You said it was the only way!"

"I know, but now that it's happening... It's a lot."

"It's too late to back out now."

"Sunghoon!"

"Would you both shut up." Sohyun says from behind us with a loud sigh. "I have been standing here for the past five minutes listening to you go back and forth and neither of you noticed. You are dating?"

Sunghoon and I turn around from our spot on the couch at his house, where we were trying to figure out the best way to tell Sohyun about us. How had neither of us heard her?

"We haven't actually been out on an actual date yet, so I don't know if you can call it dating." I say, turning around.

"Then you are just fucking my brother? Because that makes it better." She crosses her arms, looking directly at me. "Even after last time? He is still the same selfish asshole and you just go back to him?"

"Hey, I am sitting right here." Sunghoon says and Sohyun turns to him.

"I know. And don't worry, I will get to you." She takes a few steps toward us, turning her attention back to me. "I don't want to see you that upset again, Y/n."

"And I love you for that." I say, reaching my arm out and holding my hand open for her to take, which she does. "He is on a trial period right now. We are going to see how it goes. But I didn't want to do anything without you knowing this time."

"Okay." She nods, giving my hand a squeeze. "If this is actually what you want, you have my support."

"Thank you." I smile, letting her hand go.

Sohyun nods, but then turns to Sunghoon and slaps him across the head.

"And you," she says, pointing her finger at him. "If you fuck up this time I am disowning you. And you better believe I'll have some hot ass guy lined up for her."

"Ow!" Sunghoon stands up, holding the back of his head. "This is backwards, isn't it? Shouldn't you be protecting me? I am your brother."

"Yes, you are." Sohyun crosses her arms. I smile, turning to where I can see both of them, enjoying this drama. As long as it isn't directed at me, that is. "What kind of brother targets his sister's best friend? You could have gone after any other girl, but why my friend? What kind of brother does that?"

"Do you think I meant to?" Sunghoon answers. "I can't help who I fall in love with. It just happened."

"Love? Really?" She shakes her head. "A man in love wouldn't have ran off to Youngji at the first sign of trouble."

"I am not doing this with you. It's none of your business." Sunghoon shakes his head and turns to me. "Let's go."

I look back at Sohyun, who shrugs.

"It's fine. Go with him. Call me later?"

"Of course." I nod as I get up, following Sunghoon towards the door.

"I will start to get the hot guys lined up for you!" She yells as Sunghoon is opening the door. He turns around, but I catch him, placing my hands on his chest, pushing him out of the door.

The drive back to his apartment is tense. I didn't realize how much Sohyun's words upset him until I had to sit alone with him in an enclosed space.

"Sunghoon?" I test the waters as he pulls into his parking lot. "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine." He sighs, turning off the car. He reaches over and takes my hand. "But there is something Sohyun said that was right."

"What?"

"We aren't dating. At this moment in time I am just a guy you fuck." He says. "What do you think about going out on our first date tonight?"

"Tonight?" I repeat. "That's too short of notice. You'd have to take me back to my dorm, I need time to get ready."

"Why can't you get ready here?"

"I have nothing to wear!"

"You have the dress you threw up all over that night you were drunk." He says. "It's beautiful and clean."

"My makeup and hair products."

"I have a ton of hair products. You've seen my bathroom." He argues. "And you have makeup here."

He is right. I did have a makeup bag here for times I stayed over.

"What would we even do?"

"Mini golf and dinner." He replies.

"That was fast."

"I've been thinking about it the entire drive home." He unbuckles his seatbelt and leans over to kiss my cheek.

We go up to Sunghoon's apartment and he gets the dress out. I do need to return that to Sohyun.

"We were supposed to work on another episode of your mini series tonight."

"That can wait." He pushes the dress toward me. "Go get dressed."

"Sunghoon." I laugh, shaking my head. "This dress doesn't go with mini golf."

"Sure it does."

"It's fine. I'll send Sunoo a pic of what I want and I will have him grab it and bring it. If he isn't busy."

"Or I could go get it." Sunghoon offers. "Since this is my fault."

"You have to get ready, too. And I was thinking, to save time and water, you could shower with me."

"No."

"What?"

"No." He shakes his head, repeating. "I am not allowed to see you naked tonight, Peaches."

"You are kidding."

"It's our first date. We can't do anything like that on the first date. It needs to be clean and wholesome."

"Clean and wholesome doesn't describe any part of our relationship, Sunghoon."

"I am not budging on this, Peaches." He walks over, kissing my forehead. "Now find a dress you like and I will go get it for you while you shower."

Is this the same man that had me handcuffed to a bar and ripped my bra off me the other night and proceeded for fuck me relentlessly without a condom? No, it couldn't be, right?
