It's already 1:30 in the morning and it's Christmas!

"Merry Christmas, Ags!" Olive Isidro greeted her and hugged her as well.

"Yie! Thank you! Love you!"

She greeted her friends, family, co-workers, and neighbours. She was trying to call Albert but he's not answering.

"Baka busy yun. Mamaya nalang ko siya tatawagan." she thought.

She joined her family in the living room. Playing games, chitchatting, jamming, giving gifts and exchanging cards.

Time check, 2:30 in the morning.

"Sige na! Matulog na tayo! Merry christmas again!" Agot greeted and hugged them individually.

She went straight to her bed and checked her phone. Still no sign of Albert.

"Jusko naman Albert! Nagpapa-miss kaba? Effective eh!" She waited for 5 minutes, pero di parin nagpaparamdam.

"Makatulog na nga lang."

Little did she know, Albert planned to celebrate new year and Christmas in the Philippines.

"Hello, Philippines!!!!" Alyanna shouted.

"By the way dad, nag text ba si tita Agot?" She added.

Albert turned on his phone and recieved 20 missed calls and 10 unread messages from Agot.

"20 missed calls and 10 unread messages."

"Hala! Patay ka dad!" Alyanna laughed.

"Grabe ka naman! Oh, andyan na si manong."

They get inside the car and placed their things.

"Manong, daanan lang natin bahay ni Agot. Bababa lang ako dun. And the two of you, diretso nalang kayo sa bahay. I know pagod kayo."

"Yes dad. At alam kong matagal pa yang pagsuyo mo." And the room was filled with laughter.

They arrived at the Isidro Residence exactly 3 in the morning.

"Sige. Dito lang ako. Ingat!" And Albert went inside the house.

"Albert! Buti nalang at nakarating kana. Miss kana nung Honey mo." Olive said.

"Halata naman po. May 20 missed calls at 10 messages galing sakanya!"

"Hmmmm. Sige, nandoon lang siya sa kwarto niya. Tulog na ata yun."

"Sige. Merry christmas!"

He went to her room and there he saw the love of his life peacefully sleeping.

"Ganda talaga ng jowa ko." He stared at her for almost 20 minutes.

He stood up and caressed her face that made Agot wake up.

"Hmmm.... Albert?" She hugged him very tight. Di po halata na miss niya eh? "Hi, merry christmas," he smiled.

"Kala ko... Wait bakit ka.... Kala ko sa January kapa uuwi?"

"Ay alis nalang ako parangbayaw mo kong makasama eh."

"Drama mo."

"Seriously, I missed you." she added.

"Mas miss kita. Di ako sanay na gumigising na di ka kayakap."

"Asus! Nag da-drama!"

"Miss na talagaaaaa kita!" He hugged her from behind and sniffed her hair.

"Alan kong pagod kana. Matulog ka nalang muna."

She laid down and closed her eyes. Nilapitan ni Albert ang mukha ni Agot and gave her a kiss.

"Hmmmm." she moaned.

"Good night. Sleep tight, my love. You're the best gift I received."
