Chapter 023

Historia was soon named as Queen of the Walls. The crown was placed by the guy who made Eren choice. His name was Zachery if I remember. I turn to see Levi, he didn't look so good. I guess he had said the Kenny was dead. This world is cruel. He just found out that he was his uncle. I truly feel bad for everyone. A slave to something.

"That girl saved us from a titan bigger than the wall"

"Yeah we all saw it"

"She saved us from it with such a tiny body"

"Her father ruled from the shadows but she ended his tyranny."

I heard all the people praising her. She should feel prouder than anyone here. You have made it.

I walked alongside Mikasa. I guess her suggestion didn't leave her at all. I saw his small figure at the end of the hallway.

"Are you actually going to do it? Mikasa was just joking. Violet, right she was just joking."

I turn to Eren. Why is he bringing me into this? I smiled and stood in front of Historia.

"If I was in your position. I would do the same thing so go on"

I move and pointed her in the direction. She nodded and ran.

"I thought you would be reasonable"

"Eren, grudges stay tight on me so"

I wink at him, in return he blushed. I was a bit tired so I headed out without them.

"Aye where are you going"

"Thank you"

I heard Connie's voice. I didn't turn around to face him. I kept walking. I wish this was a happy ending but in reality, it isn't. I clench my fist. I just know this won't end well. I have to do something before it's late. I'm sorry guys but it will bring you guys it. I won't stop from now on.

I wave my hand in the air.

"I'm tired"

When I touch her shoulders, it had to do something with Violet  father. I saw him standing and talking to Rod and his brother. How could I not see him. Is he still alive.

Everyone is a slave to something. I am a slave to this. Is that why Violet had died because she couldn't handle the guilt or more like she was gone way before. It has been two months since Historia was crowned. She had started an orphanage for children in the underground. I sat on the grass. I didn't feel like helping at all. I was just staring at the ground.

Someone came over to me. It was a pair of kids. I always thought kids were a pain.

"Violet can you play with us."

I nodded. I stood up and wipe the grass off my green skirt

I wore a dress for one reason it was her who always put me in these. At this point, I didn't mind. The kids explain to me the rules of the game.

It was like freeze tag. Hmm, it should be fine I guess. It is similar to that game. I used to play it with Eva.

I was about to stand up. I was trip by a kid. They took out their tongues at me. So they want to play. I was about to kill those dam kids. I was held by someone. By the smell, "Jean remove your hands now."

"Violet, you can't hit kids. Plus don't think I didn't see you reaching where your blades will be. Give it a break now."

I stare at those kids with sharp eyes. What do you think you are just because you are kids.

They came back once again.

"Ah, Violet seems too slow to get us."

Jean would not budge.

"Violet I won't let you go. Who knows what you are capable of doing. Historia had put you to take care of them. Not to argue."

I relaxed. But I saw it. I saw that thing. It was huge and In their hands.

"Look what we found"

It was a bug. It was huge. I didn't like them at all.

"Oh, my Violet are you afraid of bugs. You killed titans without fear so I thought you weren't scared of anything."

I ran and turn to see Eren and Historia. I ran to them. Eren looks a bit angry. The kids were running behind me. I hid behind Eren's body.

"Kids he can turn into a monster and eat you for your sins. So go over there and take that thing too"

"Violet stop you are scaring them."

"They started it first"

They threw the bug towards us. I lost strength in my feet.  I never like bugs to begin with. My feet weaken and I fell to the floor.

Eren POV

"The queen of the walls is here playing with the children"

I look to the distance to see Historia playing with the children. Then I turn to see Violet. Was she slacking off once again? She was laying on the grass. The children asked her to play. I walked over to Historia.

Violet was playing with them but then she showed.

Jean was hugging her. He was taking advantage of the situation. I can't allow his pervert hands on Violet.

"Eren do you like Violet"

I turn to Historia words.

"Noooo what do you mean"

I didn't like Violet I just want to protect her.

"Ah so you don't"

Violet is a friend a close one right. I look to see her fighting to teach those kids a lesson. I smile at her encounter. She then came running towards me. I look to see the kids had a bug in their hands. To think Violet is stronger than anything and she is afraid of a bug. I laugh at her she was cute. Then she hid behind me. She finally needed me to protect her. I smiled then they threw the bugs at us. I wasn't scared but then I felt her fall. I turn around to see she had fainted. Did she really faint because of a bug? She had never flinch whenever a titan was.

I should carry her back. Violet was very light. She hardly eats anything everything is mostly given to Sasha. She wasn't the person to go all over food.

Historia was beside me.

"Eren how is the hardening experiments"

"Not so well."

They weren't going as I hope they would. I did really wish they would have gone better.

"You know one day you are going to face off Reiner and Bertolt what will you do"

"I will have to kill them."

"Do I have to watch them die"

I heard Violet's voice was sleep-taking. I bet she is having a nightmare. I had her on my back.

"I have to fight fight fight for freedom but will it be enough."

I stop and heard her say. She was still sleeping. Fight fight fight, why do you say it three times. Historia had the same expression.

What was she dreaming about? I was more concerned about her. I notice that she had headaches more than usual. What am I supposed to do with her? I continue walking inside.End of Eren POV

Was I dreaming I touch my head? That headache was killing me. Those dam kids have a death wish, don't they? I have to get ready today is the day we see him.

I stood up from the bed. I guess Eren probably brought me here. But I think it is time to see Him again. I look to see my face in the mirror. I still can't get used to it. My hair was a pretty blond. My eyes were a clear blue. I did my hair in a ponytail. Lack of Effort. It brought me such anger. I remember my math teacher. He would compare me to my sister. I didn't really mind it but he took it way too far. Because I have a lack of effort. I just don't see the point.
