The Trade

                   Hiccup walked towards it "Hey boy, were not here to hurt you," he reached out his hand getting closer. The dragon quickly saw him and charged its ray, "I'm not going to hurt you," he pulled out some dragon nip and held it forward. It smelled it but shook it head to try and resist it effect. It looked back at him and saw the same kindness in his eyes as one its met before, but didn't want to believe it. It kept shaking its head to not give in. 

                   Hiccup saw it was kind of working and said, "Don't be scared," he said in calm voice as everyone watch in amazement, he stopped right in front of the dragon with his hand extended. It looked at him and breathed heavily and looked at everyone around it. It finally looked Hiccup in the eyes while backing up a few steps. Hiccup waited with his hand still extended and closed his eyes. The dragon took a few steps forward and sniffed his hand, it was still unsure, but put his head in his hand.

                     The dragon calmed down and it went wide eyed looking at him taking its head back. Hiccup opened his eyes and smiled at the dragon, he put both hands on the side of its head. Everyone landed there dragons and Stoik felt very proud, "So where did you come from boy?" Hiccup asked petting its head and meanwhile Fishlegs landed Meatlug behind Skullcrusher to check on the girl and quickly said. "Hiccup! its pretty bad, we need to get her back to Berk!". Hiccup Looked back to Fishlegs and his father and so did the dragon.

                       Its eyes turned back to slits as It realized what had happened. It charged it ray in its mouth, but before it let lose Hiccup stood in front of it saying "No don't!" Toothless quickly roared at the dragon in fear of his rider. It didn't fire, but looked at him with fury. It jumped on top of him and grabbed him with its claws and flew up and hovered.  

                       Toothless started firing at it, but realized he could hit Hiccup and stopped. "I'm ok bud!" Hiccup said still worried for him self. "Son!" Stoik turned to Skullcrusher "Fire!" he pointed, but before he could Astrid flew down in front of them and said "No! We cant risk hitting Hiccup!" she put her hand out. 

                       "What's your deal dragon!?!" Stoik yelled at it. The dragon looked at Hiccup then to the girl and roared. Toothless barred his teeth knowing what it wanted. "A trade?" Astrid said confused looking at the girl. "We cant, she'll die if we do." Fishlegs was still trying to stop the bleeding from her shoulder. Stoik looked down, unsure of what to do but Hiccup yelled down "I'm fine! I don't think it'll hurt me, save the girl!" They all looked at each other, but out of no where Stoik got on Skullcrusher and took of towards the dragon.

                         "Dad don't!" Hiccup tried to stop him but it did nothing as Skullcrusher fire multiple blasts that the dragon swiftly dodged. Stoik looked down at the other dragons riders and yelled "Don't just stand there!" They all looked at Astrid who didn't know what else to do and gave the single to help, but before Stormfly took off Toothless grabbed Astrid and put her on his back and took off after.
