Chapter 6

           The rest of class was a blur, with Adrien, Marinette, and others looking concerned at Chloe. Chloe honestly was not paying attention, except for when Chloe had to pay attention when a project was announced at the end. What scared her was that she and Sabrina were not partners.

"This is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous! Who's my partner then!" Chloe glared at the board, on which Mrs. Bustier had written the partners down. She and Nathaniel were partners.

Chloe nearly screeched out loud, but kept her composure. School was over now at least, she reasoned. A hand caught her shoulder before she could move though. Chloe whirled around, her Queen Bee instincts kicking in.

"Chloe, chill out! It's just me! I just wanted to know if you wanted to meet at your place to work on the project" Nathaniel exclaimed, eyes widening.

"Sorry, Nath-" Chloe was cut off by a angry stomping noise. She and Nathaniel exchanged a glance, and walked out, agreeing to meet at the hotel in a few minutes.

Chloe smiled when he left, and Pollen flew out of her purse, smirking.

"So red-head it is, My Queen?" Pollen joked. Chloe blushed in embarrassment at her kwami's words.

"NO, NEVER! I LOVE ADRI-KINS, I JUST NEED TO ADMIT IT TO HIM! NOW HIDE, POLLEN" Chloe whisper-shouted at her giggling kwami, not noticing that she was blushing. 

Pollen giggled, and flew into Chloe's purse as Chloe walked down the steps of the school, and went into her limo to go to the hotel. It took a few minutes, that Chloe used to listen to her favorite song: Scars to your beautiful. It reminded her that she was beautiful inside, and that there was no need to harm yourself. Chloe really needed that after everything that had happened today.

Chloe got out of the limo, and saw Nathaniel  waiting for her in a seat outside of the building.

"Why is he so..like this?" Chloe thought as she walked over to him. Nathaniel patted to a spot RIGHT NEXT TO HIM.

Chloe sat down, taking her beets off. She smiled at Nathaniel, and took out her book.

"So, where should we-" Chloe began to ask, but was interrupted by a scream. Chloe and Nathaniel both stood up, and looked towards the sound, but saw nothing.It didn't matter though, because it was no doubt, a akuma. 

"Oh come on!" Chloe thought unhappily. Chloe readied a excuse, but Nathaniel beat her to it.

"Chloe, run and hide!" He demanded. Chloe's eyes widened. It was the excuse to leave she needed, yet...

"What about you! I can't just leave you" Chloe argued. Nathaniel gave her a look, and Chloe decided to obey, hiding in a place nobody knew but her and her father in the hotel.

"Pollen, Buzz On!" Chloe said. She felt the sensation as she transformed, and smiled while transforming.

When Chloe was now Queen Bee, she made her immediate goal to save Nathaniel first. Queen Bee ran out of the hotel, and found him almost immediately. 

"Hey, you! hide in the hotel, please! You should be in a safe place there." Queen Bee ordered Nathaniel. Nathaniel looked conflicted. Queen Bee took that as a ok, and readied her spinny-top to escape and get to when akuma, when Nathaniel spoke again.

"But, Chloe is in-" He began.

"I saw Chloe, she's fine! Chloe just wants you to be safe, and so do I" Queen Bee shouted. Nathaniel nodded, giving Queen Bee a relieved smile as he ran into the hotel. Queen Bee wiped some sweat off her forhead.

Priority one: Nathaniel, was over. Now she just had to get that akuma.
