Chapter 4

              Chloe woke up with a huge yawn, and stretched. She looked at the clock, and then started to panic. For once, she had slept in to late, and it was picture day for the whole school!

Chloe bolted, realizing she had to get dressed as well as brush her teeth and eat, and all that good stuff. Chloe ran to her closet, leaving a flustered and confused Pollen.

After a second of skimming through her closet, Chloe decided on a yellow dress shirt, and a black skirt, with short black combat boots. She then quickly applied some mascara. Then she looked into the mirror and smiled. Perfect.

Satisfied, Chloe ate very fast, brushed her teeth, and ran into the elevator, pressing the button for the lobby. She got on, making sure Pollen was in her bag, and bolted as soon as it opened. She ran into her car, and slammed the door shut, sighing with relief. Just in time. She wouldn't be late today.

Chloe arrived a few moments later then she had expected, but she was still on time as she rushed up the stairs and into her classroom, rushing to her chair. Chloe smiled as the teacher walked in, acting like she hadn't just been in such a rush.

Sabrina scooted closer to Chloe as the lesson began, but Chloe didn't find the heart to push her away, or tell her to stop. As class went on, someone shouted from the right side of Chloe.

"LIAR!" A girls voice screeched.

"I AM NOT. I SWEAR!" Another girls voice shouted. It came from Alya and Marinette's seats. The girls who were usually so close, were fighting, pointing fingers, and screeching.

"YOU SO ARE, AND I AM SO DONE WITH YOU!" One of them screamed, slapping the other.

The whole class gasped, including Chloe. Adrien and Nino stood up, concerned. Mrs. Bustier walked over, and guided Alya out of the room. Marinette's eyes were wide as she rubbed her cheek, and tears formed. Adrien and Nino tried to comfort her. Chloe wanted to, but knew she'd have to apologize first, and Marinette wasn't in the mood for more crap today.

Marinette then ran out, upset. Chloe stood up, ready to go and say sorry, and try to comfort the poor girl.

"Where do you think your going? You'll just make it worse. She doesn't want you there." Alix sneered as Chloe took a step. Chloe glared.

"Of course she does, I'm going to comfort her" Chloe retorted, walking more.

"Oh really? You think she wants you? Awww, its just like your mother!" Alix shot back. Everyone in the room gasped loudly. Adrien and Sabrina came to Chloe's defense as soon as they could, but Chloe burst.

"How dare you! I AM TRYING TO BE A BETTER PERSON, AND YOU JUST DON'T CARE! NOBODY IN THE WORLD LIKES ME, I GET IT, BUT YOU CAN AT LEAST BE NICE ABOUT IT, AND NOT BRING UP MY MOTHER! YOUR RIDICULOUS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS" Chloe exploded,  stomping away, tears forming in her eyes. As she stomped out, Pollen floated out, looking concerned for her owner.

"Shes right. I'm not good enough, so I'll make myself better" Chloe thought, wiping tears away. She knew what she was going to do.
