(Chapter Twenty-One)

Camila's Pov

It had been a few days since I got out of the hospital, I was slowly settling back in to my daily routine and getting caught up on my best friend's wedding that was only a week away. Lauren would never leave me alone and that was extremely cute but I was also feeling suffocated. She never left the hospital when I was there, now she wouldn't go or do anything without taking me. I loved her but she needed to understand that I was safe now, Shawn got locked up the day after I woke up and just two days ago he had signed our divorce papers. I was officially divorced from that lunatic and I couldn't feel happier.

He gave up on trying to make my life miserable and just signed the papers and said he hoped he would never see me again, that was something we both agreed on. Today I was spending the day with Dinah while she tried on her wedding dress so they could adjust some final touches.

"I get you Mila but you have to understand, You basically died. Lauren would of went crazy if that happened. It's just normal she wants to protect you all the time now" My best friend said as she was putting on her wedding dress.

"I know D but she has to understand that I can take care of myself. I mean Shawn is gone, there's nothing to worry about. We can finally be happy and together." I said as I looked through different wedding dresses while I waited for Dinah to come out the dressing room.

"Just give her time and stop being a dick" She said making me laugh.

"Fine, Just hurry up we still have to meet up with them for lunch." I said as I turned and saw my friend on her wedding dress. She looked beautiful and the dress was perfect for her, it was a beautiful pearly white, the lace was short because Normani wanted hers to be long. It was backless just perfect for Dinah's beautiful back, it had a little sparkle on it but not too overwhelming it was just too perfect.

"Dinah, You look phenomenal. Holy shit." I said before a tear fell down my eye.

"Awwh mila you're going to make me cry, stop" She said as she embraced me in a hug.

"You honestly look amazing, Normani is going to pass out when she sees you. I'm so happy for you Dinah."

"She better, this dress was not cheap and thank you for waking up just in time Mila. I love you."

After another 2 hours of adding some final touches to her dress it was finally ready to go. We were meeting at Filippo's with my girlfriend, Dinah's fiancée and Ally.

"Hey Babe" Lauren greeted me as I felt her hands around my waist and her soft lips on mine.

"Hi baby, I missed you" I said as we walked hand by hand inside the restaurant.

"Gross, keep the PDA at a minimal for god's sake" I heard Dinah yell from behind us.

"So is your dress finished?" Ally asked Dinah as we took a seat in a booth.

"It is, we just needed to adjust some parts but it's perfect. I hope you'll love it." Dinah said turning to Normani.

"Anything you wear I love." Normani said back as they kissed.

"Gross, Keep the PDA at a minimal for god's sake" I mocked Dinah back, I felt a sharp pain on my stomach right after.

"Dinah what the hell" Lauren yelled back.

"That's what she gets for mocking me" my best friend smiled as I lifted the fork she had thrown at me.

"Please behave, I don't want to get kick out of here too" Ally said as the waitress arrived and we all ordered.

The rest of the afternoon was uneventful, Ally had to go get some things ready for Dinah's baptism tomorrow. Dinah was going shopping for a bathing suit as Normani fought her on how she couldn't wear that and me and Lauren went home to catch up on some alone time.

"Finally" I said as I threw myself on our bed, I had officially moved in right after I got out of the hospital. Living with another couple was not easy because we never had any alone time, but after their wedding Dinah and Normani were going to move out just two houses down which didn't mean anything because they will probably be here all the time anyways.

"I know, We literally don't have a second alone" Lauren said as she laid next to me.

"Well, we are alone now." I said as I got on top of her, those green eyes could hypnotize anyone.

"We are" Lauren's voice sounded huskier than usual, I felt her hands tighten on my waist as I pressed my lips on hers.

Immediately our kiss turned more aggressive, it had been a while since we did anything so I knew we both needed this. I felt her hands on my ass as she squeezed it hard making me moan quietly on her mouth.

"Fuck I missed you so much" She said as she opened her eyes that were now a dark green. I got up and removed my shirt and bra, I didn't want to waste any more time, I needed to feel her.

I turned the door knob quietly so they wouldn't hear me.

"Well, You're finally up" Dinah said as she threw clothes all over the room.

"I was no expecting this, what are you doing?" I asked as she kept throwing shit all over the room.

"Well, if you must know everything. I'm looking for something. What do you want?" She asked rudely as she kept looking for something.

"What did you lose now?"

"I wrote my vows and I lost them. They were perfect too, Normani went to have breakfast so i'm looking for them before she comes back and kills me" Dinah said sounding scared, I laughed at how much power Normani had over her it was kind of cute but weird.

"Dinah relax, just re write them"

"Re write them? Are you crazy? It took me like a month to write those, I can't you know I suck at expressing myself and those vows were just perfect. I need to find them so instead of standing there like a dummy come help" she said pushing me inside her room.

We looked everywhere when I finally spotted the bright pink paper she had used, I grabbed it and put it inside my shirt.

"Sorry Dinah I think you're going to have to re write them or just improvise" I winked as I left the room.

I didn't tell Dinah that I found the paper because I knew her and they were probably terrible, she didn't know this but being put on the spot help her get creative so I knew if she said her vows right there and then they would be beautiful.

"What was that about?" Lauren asked as she scrolled through her phone, she was probably on tumblr as usual.

"Nothing, Dinah just being Dinah" I said as I went inside the bathroom so we could start our day and get ready for Dinah's baptism.

A few hours later and after all of Dinah's whining she had finally been baptized in front of our closest friends, family and her soon to be wife. It was a beautiful ceremony, the most surprising thing to me was Dinah crying after it ended. She said she felt different and something she couldn't explain, We all knew how much this meant for Normani and listening to Dinah's words right after just reassured me how strong their love for each other was because Dinah was not religious at all and she for sure didn't believe in anything that had just happened but the fact that she put all of that aside to make Normani feel like she "saved" her was beautiful to me.

"Can we just go eat now? I drank like half the water in that lake" Dinah said as Normani covered her with a towel.

"Anything you want babe, You have to change first. Can we meet over there?" Normani asked, Me, Ally and Lauren just nodded in acceptance as we made our way to Dave and busters.

"Are you nervous about getting Normani and Dinah married?" Lauren asked Ally as we entered the loud establishment.

"Of course I am, I feel like I'm going to cry and mess everything up." Ally replied nervously as we made our way to a booth.

"I think you crying will make it even more special, It just shows how happy you are for them. I for sure I'm going to lose my shit" I said taking a seat next to Lauren on the booth. The place was packed and loud so we had to yell at each other.

"I guess you're right." Ally responded a little more relieved, we order some drinks while waiting for the soon to be wives.

We were having a great time and were on our 3rd round of drinks when I saw a familiar face making their way towards us.

"Hey Lauren" I heard the voice say as I chugged my drink down.

"Oh, Hey, What are you doing here?" Lauren asked eyeing me to make sure I wouldn't go crazy.

"It is a public place, Long time no see." The girl leaned over and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek as Lauren pulled back.

"Wh-What are you doing? Can you not do that." Lauren said as she took a hold of my hand, I could feel the whole room spinning those drinks were strong.

"Oh hey Camila I didn't see you there, You're still hanging around I see." The girl said mockingly as I tried to stand up but Lauren pulled me back down.

"Hey Lucy I see you're still trying to get my girls attention" I said back, I grabbed Lauren by her face and kissed her passionately, she kissed me back and I could see Lucy's face getting red.

"You're pathetic" She said before walking away.

"Oh my god Mila, I didn't know you had it in you" Ally said laughing, Lauren was blushing and had the most endearing smile on her face, God I loved this girl.

"Lauren hurry up, Dinah is literally losing her shit. Who would of known she would be this psycho on her wedding day. To be honest I thought that was going to be Normani but she's so calm I'm actually worried" I said as I put some last minute touches on my hair. it was the big day, our best friends were getting married, this was actually happening and I couldn't be happier for them.

"I know, It's pretty scary when Normani is this calm it means that all hell is going to break lose later." She said as she applied red lipstick, she looked so hot I just wanted to undress her but that couldn't happen because we were already running late.

The ceremony was going to happen just along the beach, a few friends and our families were going to be there.

"Okay okay lets go" Lauren said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me next door where Dinah was finishing up her make up. Normani was at Ally's since it was bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.

"I still don't have the damn wedding vows, Normani is going to divorce me before we even get married." Dinah said applying some light eye shadow.

"You're going to be fine I'm sure you'll get inspired once Normani is standing next to you" Lauren said trying to encourage her.

"You say that because you two are good with your words, I'm not."

"D, You're going to be fine. Just relax and hurry up, you don't want to be late for your own wedding" I said as I left the room.

A few minutes later we had arrived to the beach were all our families and friends were sitting waiting patiently. I greeted everyone fast and sat next to my mom and Sofi who were sitting next to the Jauregui's. Lauren was ecstatic to see her family but our talk with all of them had to wait since the wedding was about to start.

Dinah walked to the front of the aisle were she gave Ally a hug and we all stood up once Dinah's sister Regina started playing the melody of "Drunk in love". Yes, Normani agreed on this song and it was different and hilarious but really romantic since they both were obsessed with Beyoncé.

I saw as my best friend was being escorted by Lauren's dad, He had been like a father to her and when she asked him to escort her he cried for hours and immediately agreed.

I could see my girlfriend already tearing up, I was too this was a beautiful day. I looked up to see Dinah with tears streaming down her face and a smile I had never seen before.

"God, You look beautiful" Dinah said as soon as Mike left Normani with her and Ally.

We all took a seat and the ceremony began with Ally saying a small prayer then she went on about how beautiful this was and how marriage was a huge commitment. Then it was time for the wedding vows, I saw as normani took out a paper from her bra and everyone burst in laughter.

"Dinah, what can I say to you that I haven't said before. Since the first moment I saw you in dance class I fell for you, you had such a different vibe and your cockiness just pulled me in. I fell in love with you not because of your body or because you're always making me laugh but because of your big heart. You love me with no conditions or restrictions you accept me just the way I am and I'm just so glad I took that dance class. You are the love of my life and I promise I will always be by your side. I love you so much Dinah Jane" Normani finished her vows and I could hear people crying.

Her words were beautiful and I knew my best friend would be in great hands, Dinah wiped her tears off and I could see she was stunned of what Normani had just said. Ally let out a little cough and Dinah looked around confused.

"Oh yeah, My turn" she said nervously making all of us laugh.

"Shit, Well. Oh shit sorry I'm not suppose to say bad words. I'm just so nervous" I could see Dinah looking everywhere as if she wanted to run away, We made eye contact and I mouthed "It's Normani, Relax" she nodded understanding exactly what I meant, she took a deep breath and started saying her vows.

"I honestly didn't write any vows down, I am horrible with words and even if I wasn't their wouldn't be enough to express how much I love you. I admire everything about you Normani, Your dedication to everything you do, your loyalty to your friends and family and the way you love me is just something I will never be able to explain. You make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world, when you touch me you set my skin on fire and when we kiss you always leva me breathless. You are a light on my darkest days, you're my motor to keep going. You support me on everything I do even if it's something stupid like playing Beyoncé on our wedding day. I just want to be with you forever and show you every day how much you mean to me and if there's another life after this I want to spend it with you. I love you so much" Dinah finished talking and everyone was silent.

That was the Dinah I knew, she could express herself in ways she couldn't even understand, Normani was wiping off her tears and so was Ally and Lauren and basically everyone there.

"That's my fucking sister" I heard one of Dinah's brothers yell, everyone laughed and Ally finished off.

"May your love be eternal and undying. In witness of your love and commitment, it is now my pleasure to introduce you to those present here as wife and wife. In honor of your entrance into holy wedlock, you may now kis-"

Before she could finish her sentence Dinah threw herself at Normani lifted her and kissed her in front of everyone as we all cheered.

"This is my fucking wife" Dinah yelled as she hold Normani's arm up as if she just had won the lottery or something, an in a way she had.

We all congratulated them and made our way to the party, Everyone was having a great time. I loved being with my family and with Lauren's parents. We had the "talk" explained everything that had happened from the beginning to now and they said they've never seen Lauren this happy, they gave me their blessing to date their daughter and we made it more than official that we were finally together.

After so much darkness in my life this was like the light at the end of the tunnel, but like all tunnels it has an end.

A/N: God, I am so sorry for taking more than usual to update, I've been working crazy hours and to be honest with the whole Laucy kiss, and all of the drama going on I was not inspired to write. But then I got my inspiration back lol
