(Chapter Seventeen )

CAMILA'S POV

"Camila what the fuck" I heard someone yell as I let go of Lauren. I felt like I was going to pass out, I stared at Lauren who also looked like she had seen a ghost.

"M-Mom what are you doing here?" I asked nervously, I couldn't believe this was happening. If she told Shawn about this he would kill me and probably Lauren too.

"What is this? What are you doing kissing a girl? Where is Shawn?" I heard my mother start bombarding me with questions, My head was spinning and Lauren was just standing there looking scared.

"And who are you?" My mom asked looking at Lauren who looked at me then back at my mom.

"My name is Lauren Ma'am I am Camila's friend and this is not wh-" Before Lauren could say anything else my mother interrupted her.

"I don't care what you have to say, I want to talk to my daughter alone. So if you'll excuse us" Sinu was being so rude to Lauren, I felt her grab me by my arm and started to pull me away.

"With all due respect Ma'am I'll only let her go if she asks me to" I felt Lauren grab my other arm, She stared at me patiently. I was swooning even though I shouldn't, the way she cared about me was another reason why I loved her so much but this was not her battle.

"I'll call you later" I said, smiling shyly. Lauren only nodded and let go of my arm as she walked back inside the club.

"Now you and me need to have a serious conversation Camila" I heard my mom say as we walked towards her car. The ride to the beach was quiet and awkward, I didn't know how I was going to explain this but one thing was for sure I would tell the truth.

We sat on the sand, hearing the waves crash was making me feel more at ease. We sat there in silence just looking out at the dark ocean as the moon sat just above us.

"When you were 6" My mom started speaking as I turned my head to look at her.

"You said you wanted to be with a princess, I asked you why not a prince? and you said because a princess could go shopping with you without complaining, you also said you could be best friends forever and you could talk to her and she would understand you and a prince couldn't do that." My moms voice started to crack probably replaying that moment in her head.

"I said that you couldn't, I said that being with a princess was not normal. I told you that it had to be a prince and princess and you stared at me, grabbed two of your dolls and put them together and said "They can be together because they love each other and love doesn't have eyes mommy" you were only six and already had an amazing way of thinking." She grabbed one of my hands and looked at me.

"I'm sorry for not letting you be with a princess, I forced you to be someone you didn't want to. I am so sorry Camila. I always knew you liked girls, even before you figured it out. I knew" Tears started to fall down my mothers face. I took one of my hands and wiped them away.

"Mom is not your fault, I, I didn't even know it was possible to love a girl. Until I met Lauren. Mom I love her like I've never loved anyone. She is my princess, my best friend and she's always there for me. I loved Shawn at one point but not close to the way I feel about Lauren" My mom was staring at me just listening to every word that came out of my mouth.

"I am getting a divorce mom" I said.

"Mija do whatever makes you happy, I can see that Lauren does that. I will support you every step of the way." My mom was being so supportive, I was so lucky to have her.

"Mom but you know that it can mess everything up with our pa-"

"I don't care about that if you're going to be miserable being married to someone you don't love. It'll be okay baby. I promise" I felt my moms arms around me and that's all I needed to finally talk to Shawn.

"I will always be there for you Camila, I love you just the way you are. Now, I want to meet this Lauren properly" I just nodded my head with a huge smile on my face.

"Hey where's Sofi?" I asked.

"She's at a sleepover with one of her friends, I was actually going to meet with some friends of mine but I saw you and well you know the rest" She said smiling.

"Ok lets go home so you can meet my princess" I said, We both smiled as we walked to her car.

"Dinah!" I yelled. We had arrived back home about an hour ago, Lauren embraced me in a hug as soon as she saw me but almost passed out when she saw my mom behind me.

I introduced them properly, by properly I mean "Mom this is my girlfriend Lauren". Lauren got paler than usual and that made me and my mom laugh. Sinu was being extra careful on what to say probably not wanting to make Lauren more nervous and now me, my mom, my girlfriend, Dinah and Normani were seating on the floor eating pizza.

"What? It's true! You're all over Lauren all the time. Mrs. Sinu this girl is just a horndog" Dinah kept talking, Lauren was so nervous and shy right now that I thought she was going to die at any second.

"Dinah stop don't you see Lauren, I thought she couldn't get whiter but, She can" Normani said laughing, Lauren just smiled not saying much.

"So Lauren" I heard my mom say.

"Y-yes ma'am?" Lauren asked back nervously.

"Call me Sinu mija, Don't be so scared I promise I'm not here to say you can't be with Camila. I see the way she smiles, she's glowing and that's all I want for her no matter who she's with." My mom said as I grabbed my girlfriends hand that she squeezed affectionately.

"Sinu, I promise you that as long as I live Camila will always have a smile on her face." Lauren said, Dinah and Normani did a loud "Awwh" as my mom smiled back evidently pleased with her answer.

"I'm sure you will Lauren, But she is still married. You girls need to figure out what's the next step fast. It's not fair to Shawn for you to be playing with him like this" Sinu said taking a sip from her soda and she was right. I had to fix this mess as soon as possible.

"We will mom, I will talk to Shawn this week and we'll go from there" I smiled at my mother then at Lauren who seemed to relax.

"You guys have come a long way" I heard Normani speak up as she stared at me and Lauren.

"You really have Mila, You guys were just meant to be right from the start" Dinah continued saying as I embraced Lauren in a hug.

"This is true love mijas" My mom also joined in. She was right this feelings I had for Lauren where real and no one could even make me think otherwise I was in love and I wanted to spend the rest of my life by her side.

"I wrote something for you" I said getting up running to Normani's room where I had my guitar. I came back with the instrument in one hand, getting a surprised look from my mother.

"You're going to sing? In front of everyone?" She asked very surprised.

"What's wrong with that?" I heard my girlfriend ask her as I took a sit next to her.

"Camila has never sang in front of anyone, She used to sing all the time with her father but after his passing she just shut off that artistic side of hers." Sinu answered, I could hear a crack on her voice.

"For Lauren I could sing in front of a million people if she asked me to" I said giving my girlfriend a kiss on her cheek.

"So you wrote her a song?" Dinah asked curiously.

"I did. I never know how to express how I feel, but one night I was so inspired by her that I came up with this" I started to strum the chords on my guitar, my mom looked at me with a proud expression on her face as the other three girls just smiled at me.

I took a deep breath and turned to face my girlfriend and just lost myself on those beautiful green eyes.

Dinah and Normani were in tears right now, Lauren was just looking at me. Her eyes were starting to get watery too and that only motivated me to give her my all.

I strum the guitar chords harder and my voice became raspier as I hit the last notes.

Though were tethered to the story we must tell

When I saw you, well I knew wed tell it well

With a whisper we will tame the vicious seas

Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees..

When I finished off my mom was sobbing at this point and so were Dinah and Normani. Lauren started at me on the most loveable way.

"I-I love you so much Camila, those lyrics were so beautiful and I don't even know what to say. You're amazing, Thank you. Thank you for letting me hear you sing, thank you for giving me all your love and thank you for allowing me to love you" Lauren said with tears streaming down her face as she crashed her lips into mine in a slow loving way.

"I love you Lauren" I whispered into her lips.

"Camila you're father would be so proud of you" I heard my mom say as I backed away from Lauren.

"I only hope so" I said.

"You two are definitely singing on our wedding" Normani said as she wiped away her tears.

"Yes Camren is doing a duet, That was so beautiful. Like I can't right now" Dinah said laughing as she tried to stop her tears from coming down.

"Thank you guys, I just want all of you to know that this girl right here is everything to me." I said as Lauren crashed her lips on mine once more.

"Lets get married" She said, I could hear Normani and Dinah squeal and I saw my mom clapping.

"Wh-what?" I asked.

"I never want to be away from you, get a divorce and lets get married." Lauren said excitedly.

"Norminah and Camren wedding" I heard Dinah yell as she got up.

We all stood up at the same time as we did a group hug.

"I'm telling Shawn tonight" I finally said, all of my girls smiled.

"Do you want us to come with you?" Lauren asked nervously.

"No I have to do this on my own, I'll go get it over with then come back here if that's okay?" I asked cautiously.

"Of course babe." Lauren said as she blushed when my mom did a low "Awwh".

"Okay mija I have to go get Sofi. Be careful and I'll come back tomorrow so we can talk about everything okay?" I nodded my head as we all said our goodbyes to my mom.

"Okay well here goes nothing I said" Before kissing my girlfriend not before she gave me a one hour speech of how I should call her as soon as I sense something is going wrong, I agreed and left her house.

I was ready to tell Shawn, I wanted this marriage to be over so I could start my new life with the girl of my dreams, with my princess.

After an hour of waiting for Shawn to get home I finally heard the front door open.

"Camila?" I heard him call my name as he stumbled to the couch.

Great, He was drunk.

"I'm here" I said as I approached him.

"Take a sit next to me babe, I missed you so much" he said as he extended his arms to wrap my body around them. I shook my head and took a sit across from him.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he sat upright.

"I want a divorce Shawn" I said, His eyes were fixed on mine as he let out a scary loud laugh.

"Are you drunk?" He asked astonished at my request.

"I'm pretty sober. You well know this isn't working out Shawn, We both know there is no love. You don't love me and I don't love you" I said in a calm tone. He didn't say a word I saw his jaw clench and I reached for my phone.

"Is there someone else?" he asked staring at the floor.

"Yes" I whispered loud enough for him to hear me.

"Who?" he asked again, his hands turned into fists and I started to type a text to Lauren to come get me.

"It doesn't matter" I said before I could finish my text the phone flew out of my hand.

"Lauren?" he asked his tone angry and disgusted. "You're leaving me for a girl?" he asked as he walked away from me my phone on his hands.

"I-I'm sorry. It just happened Shawn. I fell for her I can't help who I fall in love with" I started to cry scared of what he would do next but also relieved I had finally told the truth.

"You must be really stupid if you think I'm divorcing you, You're mine. If you leave I will get you and your mom and your sister deported and sent back to Cuba. You want that Camila?" he asked as he approached me and lifted me up the couch from my shoulders.

"As long as i'm not with you it doesn't matter what you do" I said as he pushed me down to the floor.

"You will never leave me" he said as he got on top of me, I felt his cold hands around my neck. "If you can't be mine then you can't be anyone else's" he said as his grip started to tighten around my neck not allowing enough oxygen inside my body.

Everything started to turn black, the sounds around me started to dial down, the last image on my mind where those beautiful green eyes that I would never get to see again.

Then everything stood still, I was surrounded by nothing but silence and darkness.

A/N: Sorry I took forever to update I've been busy and well I hadn't had time! Gotta love adult life right?

Anyways, This story is almost over I have a better story in my head already so I just want to finish this one off. I promise the end won't be so bad or maybe it will? Lol.

My babies are so happy in Europe tho, OT5 is so alive y'all!
