JACK°

I felt Elsa let go of my hand which made me panic for a bit. Then I noticed her flying by herself rather okay even without me. She was a bit wobbly but it wasn't like she was flying all over the place. I simply flew closer to her just in case.

"ANNA!" She called out again.

The glow on her pendant grew larger. I began to notice what she was trying to say. I quickly grabbed her hand and flew us quicker to the direction of the glow.

"Anna!" Elsa yelled again. But this time there was a reply.

"Elsa!" A familiar voice called out.

"Anna don't worry I'm coming your way! Stay where you are!" Elsa said before turning to me.

I nodded and skillfully navigated our way to get us close and closer to the almost blinding light. And there she was, Queen Anna, standing by a fire with two little kids beside her.

Just like Elsa, her crystal was on a pendant as well, but of course it wasn't like how Elsa's looked.

Elsa ran over to her sister and engulfed her to a bear hug. "I'm so glad I finally found you." She said.

Anna returned the hug with just one hand, her other remaining to hold one of the kid's hand. My eyes widened when I noticed something rather odd.

The kid, almost half his body was pitch black. He looked at me with such scared eyes, odd scared eyes. I feel rather conflicted about knowing that he sees me.

"They almost got you." I spoke up suddenly. The kid looked down. This grabbed both Elsa and Anna's attention.

There was an awkward silence before Anna offered that we sit down. Elsa sat across Anna, just in front of the barely lit fire. I sat beside her, observing the two children beside the queen. The other kid was a girl, but unlike the boy, she had no signs of having any part of her being turned.

"I saw them while I was on my way to the Enchanted forest. I thought for sure they were some of the children that went missing in Arendelle." Anna said.

"They're not?" Elsa looked surprised.

"No. They don't look like any of the children from there. I think they're from a neighboring kingdom. I don't know how they got here, and they don't really know either." Anna said.

"But their clothing, it looks Arendellian to me." Elsa pointed out. "Maybe they live on the outskirts?" She suggested.

Anna simply shook her head. "I got these for them from the castle." Anna explained.

I noticed that the girl was pointing at Elsa so I looked over her to check why.

"What?" Elsa asked. I shrugged before turning to the girl making Elsa look her way too. She then realizes why I looked at her then looked down to check what was being pointed at her.

Anna noticed both of us being clearly confused about what was happening so she spoke up. "What's wrong?" Anna asked.

"Oh, I was just checking myself if there was something on me. You see she was uh..." Elsa simply looked at the girl who is now pointing to Anna.

Anna looked down as well. "Oh, the crystal." She said. "She might've noticed yours too." "You went to Grand Pabbie's!" Anna said excited.

I'm genuinely surprised she didn't notice the fact that there is an almost blinding light here that is being emitted by both their accessories.

"We did. I figured they'd be able to help." Elsa said, realizing what the girl was pointing at.

She frosted the crystal to help mute out some of the light it had. I didnt even notice that the frost it had before was gone in the first place.

"So, what about their names?" Elsa tried to start a conversation, though I can feel she's just trying to contain herself from bombarding her the same questions she asked Honeymaren when we saw her.

"I asked them what it was but they didn't really know either. It was almost like amnesia." Anna explained.

"But they gladly gave me permission to at least give them temporary nicknames until they remember their actual names." She said proudly.

"This lovely little girl would prefer to be called Pike." Anna gestured to the girl who simply bowed. "And this dapper young man is Gutt." She added.

I noticed Pike was not really looking at my direction at all while Gutt was giving me an almost uncomfortable stare. Does Pike not see me?

"You said you had to get their clothes from the castle, why didn't you tell Kristoff you were going somewhere?" Elsa asked.

Anna looked down. "I didn't know how to tell him right away because he might freak out." She said biting her lower lip. "But I did leave him a note saying I'll be back. I didn't know where exactly I should be heading that's why I couldn't tell what place to tell him I was going." She explained.

"Well he said your missing. Are you sure you left a note?" Elsa asked.

"Sure I did! I left it near our bed so he'd be able to find it easier." Anna said.

"Well, I'm glad we found you. We should really head back to the castle." Elsa said. The took a glance at the two children with us. "Or maybe go to Grandpabbie's first."

Anna nodded. "Let's go with the second option." She said standing up. "But I have a question, well more of a suggestion..."

"What is it?" Elsa asked.

"I can't really let go of him and he can't move half of his body." Anna began explaining.

"Oh, I can make a sled." Elsa made a swirling gesture with her hand and just like that a sled appeared.

"Stay here while I find a puddle." She ran to try and find the nearest body of water that wasn't frozen over. That's going to be hard considering that winter isn't really a great time trying to find puddles.

"Uh, Elsa, what about a snowman?" I suggested, making sure it was loud enough for her to hear.

She looked our direction. "Right, snowman. I almost forgot I can make them." Elsa laughed nervously as she approached us.

With another swish, a snowman came to life. This is the second time I saw her make a living snowman, the first one being when we were moving with the Northuldrans. It's still fascinating to watch.

"Help us get to the North Mountain please." Elsa spoke to the snowman that has similar physique to Marshmallow.

The snowman nodded and began to pull the sled where the Queen and two children sat.

"Aren't you going to sit with us?" Anna asked.

Elsa shook her head. "I'm good. I could use a little exercise." She said recieving a look from Anna. "I'll join you when I feel like it." She added.

"Okay, I'm just saying it's not really that near and you'll be really tired when we get there." Anna said making Elsa laugh.

"Well, I'm just..." Elsa looked over to my direction. "...joining Jack." She finished her sentence.

I looked at her confused, looked down and wouldn't you know it, I'm walking too. It's like I forgot the fact that I can just float my way through this.

"You've been awfully quiet." Elsa told me.

"I have?" My eyebrows furrowed. "Well, I don't really have anything to say." I said.

"It's just unlike you I guess." Elsa shrugged, looking away from me and looking towards the snowman ahead of us.

Grandpabbie was no doubt a great help. Right when we got there he immediately knew what to do. It was almost like he anticipated us.

"Queen Anna, I'm glad that the charm was able to help." He said.

"Yes, you were right. It did protect me and helped me find my way." Anna glanced over to her sister who smiled. "But about this crystal, there's more to it than a tracking charm isn't there?"

Grandpabbie gave her a smile. "Yes your majesty, as a matter of fact it's more of a protection charm than a tracking charm." He explained before glancing to Gutt. "He can't touch it directly."

"That's right. He winces when he does come in contact with it." Anna looked at Grandpabbie as if she was surprised he knew. At this point, I'm not surprised he knew. But I'm getting the gist of it.

It's a protecting charm for fearlings. I didn't know there was any. How did they have them? Were they here all along? Did the guardians used something like this or did the guardians give it to them?

But the Valley of the Living Rock is a place filled with magic. I guess them having something like that wouldn't be completely impossible.

"Then it was a good thing I gave mine to Marshmallow." Elsa muttered. "A protecting charm." She held her pendant as she looked at it.

I smile a bit. And good thing I gave mine to her. I guess I have one less problem about it. I don't have to worry about fear getting to her even if I'm not there. Plus she's definitely feeling much better now that we found her sister. My smile slowly faded.

"Guess I don't even need to be here anymore." I whispered to myself.

"What?" Elsa looked over to my direction.

"What?" I simply returned it to her.

"You said something just now." Elsa said.

"It was nothing. It's okay." I said waving my hand.

"Jack, is something on your mind?" I felt Elsa hold my hand. "If there is you can tell me."

I looked at her surprised. "Oh, no just thinking about how lucky we are since we already found Queen Anna and Honeymaren and that we can now just focus about other things and..." I explained, unable to actually say what I want to say. I noticed everyone's eyes was practically on us at this point, some giving us a grin.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Elsa said nodding. "It's time we find the real source of this. The fearlings are gaining on us." Elsa said, her voice brimming with confidence.

"We have to save everyone. We'll bring all of them back." Elsa glanced over to gutt. "We'll bring them back and make sure they get back to normal too."
