Chapter 4

Disappear

Frozen, we all look at each other. Suddenly rays of light peer through the lines of the door drawing. Taehyun jumps back and runs away from the wall. Kai hides behind us. Beomgyu beside me with a curious face.Yeonjun and Soobin were in front of us.

The light was so bright we all covered our eyes. I open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out.

We hear a second click. Then the sound of door hinges. The light disappears and we open our eyes. The wall is gone leaving another hole to another hallway. In everyone's eyes I could read What happened?

Yeonjun goes through first and I go behind him, holding onto his sleeve. Then Soobin with Huening Kai. Lastly, Taehyun and Beomgyu.

Yeonjun and I walked into this second hallway. The hole brought us back to the abandoned hallway. We turned around to say something to the others but they were gone.

Wait. They were gone? But- Hold on-

"The wall is fixed?" I said in confusion pointing at the very wall we tore down earlier.

Yeonjun looked back at me in confusion then realized what I had just said. The wall fixed itself somehow?

"TAEHYUN? SOOBIN? HYUKA? BEOMGYU?" Yeonjun called. They were nowhere to be found. We ran to the construction classroom and grabbed 2 hammers.

Hitting the bricks to open the wall again just revealed another brick wall. The hole was gone. Our friends were gone.

We immediately pull out our phones and call them. No response. We try again. And again. And again. Still no answer.

"SOOBIN! TAEHYUN! BEOMGYU! HYUKA!" I yelled. Pounding my fists on the brick wall where the hole once was. Yeonjun was doing the same.

"They were right behind us. There was no place they could possibly go without us seeing them." I turned my back against the wall and slid to the floor.

Yeonjun stopped calling for them. He kneeled down beside me and embraced me with a warm hug.

"It's okay. We'll find them somehow." His voice. He tilted my chin up and wiped away some tears that were dripping off my face."We'll stay together now okay? Let's go look for them, hm?" He looked down on me. Helped me up and walked with his arm around me.

YEONJUN POVWe walked around the school looking for the others. It was completely empty.

"Yeonjun?" Y/N asked.

"Yeah?" I looked down on her.

"I'm scared. Taehyun and Soobin and Beomgyu and my little brother Hyuka disappeared." She sniffled."And the hole is gone."

A tear fell down her face and I wiped it off for her. I stopped walking and gently put my hands on her cheeks.

"We will find them. I promise." I forced a smile.

"And if we don't?"

"W-what? Don't say that! Of course we will. I will make sure of it."

"You look so pale. Here." I pulled out a juice box from my bag."Drink this." I poked the straw through and held it up to her lips. She slowly took sips of the juice.

I move my backpack from my back to my front and crouch down in for Y/N to get on my back. She nodded and hopped on. She could never refuse a piggy back.

We tried to exit but the door was locked. We went to the other exits but they were all locked too. We tried the windows but they wouldn't open.
