Chapter 14

Lucy and Tim pack their bags which included the snacks they got earlier, blankets, and jackets since it's cold on the mountain. Then Angela yells from the living room for everyone to come down since everyone got back. They all grab their stuff and split up into 2 cars. In the first car is Angela, Wesley, Lucy, Tim, John, and Bailey. In the second car is Grey, Luna, Celina, Aaron, Nyla, and James.

———In car 1———

Tim-I'll drive

Angela-Ok thanks

Tim is driving while Lucy rides shotgun. In the second row is Angela and Wesley. the last row is John and Bailey.

Lucy-So how long is the drive

Tim-Grey said to go to the visitor center first to get used to the altitude the GPS says 15 minutes to get to the base of the mountain then 45 minutes to get up.

———In car 2———

Grey-I'm driving 

Aaron-Ok

Celina-Let's go I'm so excited 

James- I'll sit in the back row with Nyla 

Aaron-Ok me and Celina can sit in the middle row

After driving for a bit they finally get to the base of the mountain then starting driving up right behind Tim's car.

———In car 1———

Tim-We made it to the base of the mountain then starting

John-I'm so excited 

Angela-Anyone want snacks I've got a bunch

Bailey-yes that would be great

Angela-I got candy, chips, pretzels, trail mix and more here's the bag

Bailey-Oh wow you are very prepared on the snack front 

Wesley- She's always like that on road tips

Bailey-Can I just grab the chips

Angela-Yeah go ahead

Bailey-Ok thanks I'll share with John 

Lucy- Can I see what you got

Angela-Oh course

Angela brings the bag of snacks to the front

Lucy-Omg how did I not see you bring all these snacks in here its a whole pantry 

Angela- I'm not sure how you didn't see it but I love having my snacks

Lucy-I can tell can I just take the gummy bears

Angela- Yeah

Tim-Guys there are goats if you look out your windows

Lucy-Omg their so cute

John-Bailey remember goat yoga

Bailey-Oh yeah you sucked at that

Tim-Do you think any of them are named Gerald 

Lucy-Oh shut up 

Angela-What is up with  you four and goats

Wesley-Yeah this is weird

Tim-What's more weird is how Lucy sounds making goat noises 

Angela-When did that happen?

Tim-When we were—

Lucy-Don't you dare continue 

Tim-Fine

Lucy starts eating her gummy bears

Lucy- Tim do you want any you've been driving for a while

Tim-Sure

Lucy-Ok I'll feed you 

Tim-That's not necessary 

Lucy-Yes it is

Tim-Ok whatever 

Lucy feeds Tim multiple gummies while they are driving up the chewing helping them both with the pressure from the changes in altitude. After a while they reach the visitors center and park their car and wait for Grey which is only about a minute behind.

———In car 2———

Grey-We have made it to our first stop

Luna-Park right there I see Tim's car

Grey-Ok perfect

Celina-I can't wait to stretch out my legs

Nyla-I'm with you on that girl

They all get out and meet up with the rest of the gang.

——— 3rd person pov of everyone———

Celina-How was your car ride

Lucy-It was fun talking to everyone but I'm so glad to be out

Celina-Me too

Nyla-Did you guys see all those goats driving up

Angela-Yes apparently Lucy, Tim, John, and Bailey all have an interesting history with goats

Nyla-History with goats? I've got to hear this

Angela-I don't know the whole story but something about goat yoga with John and goat noises from Lucy.

Celina- Lucy let's hear it

Lucy-No way let's  just go look at the view
