06:52, 27 February 2024"Hello? Earth to Foster," someone said, waving a hand in front of Sophie's face, bringing her out of her thoughts.
Sophie blinked, her eyesight focusing. She saw Keefe still waving a hand in front of her face, a worried look on his face.
"Sorry, I just blanked out for a bit," Sophie sheepishly grinned, trying not to raise any suspicion, especially from Biana. That girl was the literal definition of boy crazy, aside from Marella.
Sophie wondered if Keefe knew. After all, he WAS an empath.
"She's zoned out again," she heard someone say. Shaking her head to push away all her weird, boy thoughts, she focused back to the present.
"What were we doing again?" she asked.
"Truth or dare," Tam replied, obviously annoyed at the fact that he had to play the game. Sophie felt the same way.
"Can't we play something else? Pleasseeeee," Sophie begged, turning to Biana.
"No," Biana stated simply, refusing to look at Sophie.
Sophie grabbed Biana's face, forcing her to look at her, and pulled an adorable puppy-pout face. It was one of Sophie's many talents, and she usually succeeded in getting what she wanted, although she didn't use it that often in case everyone would get used to it.
"AHH!" Biana screamed, trying to free herself from Sophie's grasp, but failing. "Not that face! It's irresistible!!"
Sophie grinned cheekily. Keefe rolled his eyes.
"Typical Foster, relying on her looks to get what she wants,"
Sophie turned around to face him. "Hey! I do NOT!"
At that distraction, Biana successfully pulled away from Sophie's grip, although she did not seem very happy with the fact that Keefe had called Sophie cute.
"Fine," she grumbled. "We'll stop playing the damn game,"
Sophie grinned, wrapping Biana in a hug. "Thanks, Bi! I knew you would come to you're senses!"
Biana rolled her eyes, Tam doing the same, while Fitz, Linh, Dex, Marella and Keefe watched them with amused looks on their faces.
"What should we do now, then?" Dex asked.
"How about boy talk?" Biana and Marella both asked at the same time. Linh and Sophie both rolled their eyes, along with the boys. A/N: Eye rolling is very common there.
"You do realise there are boys, here, right?" Fitz asked, raising his eyebrow sceptically.
"Oh yeah,"
"Well, you guys can leave, except for Dex, he can stay if he wants,"
"Why?" Keefe asked.
"Cause he's like a sister to us," Biana replied.
Dex's face was a mix of humiliation, shock, anger and... pride? Either way, it
"it's fine, I'll go with the boys," he said, rolling his eyes at Biana.
Biana merely grinned at Dex, before shooing the boys out. Surprisingly, they left without a fight, although Dex was muttering something about a sister and girls being annoying.
