"Where are we going again?" I asked Joe as I put in some small earrings.

"To dinner with Caspar and Ellie. It's casual and relaxed. We're meeting them in about ten minutes."

"Okay," I nodded, slipping on some shoes.

"I hope it's not awkward when we meet Ellie because of the first time we saw her," Joe laughed awkwardly.

"She was so drunk, she probably doesn't remember much."

"True."

"Do I look alright? Honestly? I feel so gross."

"Minxie, you look perfect."

"Joe," I groaned.

"Fine, do you want me to say you look mediocre or something?" Joe asked sarcastically, "Minx, I wouldn't lie to you, you look perfect."

"Okay," I nodded.

We went down to the car and let it heat up a bit and then drove down to the restaurant where we are meeting Caspar and Ellie.

"Minxie! Joe!" Caspar greeted.

"Hello!" I smiled.

Caspar introduced us to Ellie. She's really pretty. She has long blonde hair, kind of like mine, but a bit more wavier and more bleach blonde. She has brown eyes but they're really wide and round. She's just really pretty.

"Hi, I'm assuming you're Ellie," I smiled.

"Yup! And you're Minx?"

"That's me," I laughed lightly.

"And you're Joe, yeah?" She smiled.

"Correct again!" Joe laughed.

We sat down with them and chatted, getting to know Ellie.

"How long have you and Joe been together?" She asked.

"Oh, um, just about a year and half it must be, huh?" I answered.

"D.amn it doesn't feel like that long, but yeah, it must be," Joe agreed.

We all talked more about anything and everything. Caspar kept talking about Noah and being excited for him.

"I'm sorry. Who's Noah?" Ellie laughed awkwardly.

"Minx and Joe's baby," Caspar smiled, wrapping his arm around Ellie.

"Oh duh, sorry. When is he due?"

"Any day now," Joe nodded.

"Wow! That's awesome," Ellie smiled.

"Yeah, we're really excited."

It was really nice to meet Ellie and I would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't for Noah kicking throughout the middle of our meal.

"Minxie, you okay?" Joe asked quietly.

"Yeah, Noah's just kicking," I smiled slightly.

"Okay," Joe nodded, resting his hand on my thigh.

I smiled through the discomfort and continued talking with Caspar and Ellie.

"So are you two official?" I asked.

"You're one to ask," Caspar laughed, referring to how Joe and I didn't make anything official for a while, "But to answer your question, not yet."

"Oh shush," I giggled.

"Well, you and Joe never even said anything to anyone and were just always together," Caspar laughed.

"Yeah, but..." I laughed, not having an excuse.

"We're engaged now," Joe piped in, finishing my sentence.

"Exactly," I laughed lightly.

"Alright, alright," Caspar nodded, laughing still.

We finished eating and had paid the tab before Joe and I excused ourselves to go home so I could rest.

"It was really nice meeting you, Ellie," I smiled.

"Yeah," Joe agreed.

"Aw, thanks. It was nice to meet you both too. I hope you have a safe delivery soon," Ellie grinned.

"Thank you!" I smiled before Joe and I left to go get to the car and go home.

"How's Noah doing now?" Joe smiled as he drove us back to my flat.

"I think he's still quite comfortable," I laughed lightly.

"Aw, anytime now Noah," Joe laughed.

"Mhm," I hummed, rubbing my stomach, "I'm sick of being pregnant," I laughed lightly.

"Only a few more days," Joe smiled.

"Yeah," I smiled.

We got back to my flat and I went straight to bed. I've been feeling a bit bad for Joe recently because we haven't done anything sexually for a few months now. I've read different forums online about how women have managed to continue having sex until they give birth, and Joe's tried to initiate it a few times, but I just always feel too tired and achey. Not to mention that Noah has been constantly moving and kicking me in the ribs, so that makes it even more uncomfortable.

"Are you going to sleep?" Joe asked as he went into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

"Yeah, I'm sorry," I nodded.

"Why are you sorry Minxie?"

"Because..."

"Hm?"

"Because I feel bad. We haven't done anything in such a long time because all I ever want to do is sleep."

"Minx, what are you going on about?"

"Us not having sex..."

"Oh. It's okay, I can survive," Joe laughed lightly.

"I'm sorry," I apologised again.

"Baby, you're fine. Please, don't worry. I can take care of myself," Joe laughed.

"Ew, you bloody w.anker!" I laughed, joking.

"P.iss off! Everyone does it!" Joe defended himself, still laughing.

"Ew!" I teased him, joking still, "I'm joking."

I sat up to give him a kiss to let him know I really was joking.

"What else am I supposed to do?!" Joe continued defending himself.

"I don't know. I'm sorry," I smiled, "We can try tonight?" I suggested.

"No, you need to sleep. I can wait for a while," Joe winked jokingly, "But seriously, not tonight, come on."

"You're so confusing," I groaned playfully.

"No, I don't want to pressure you, and you're tired and waiting to give birth. The last thing you need is to worry about me and our sex life," Joe assured me.

"But I want to keep you happy," I argued.

"I am happy!" Joe said, "I have you and in only a few days- well now only two days, because it's the evening- we'll have our baby!"

"Okay," I nodded meekly, "Joe..."

"Hm?"

"I'm scared."

"Don't be. You'll be fine. Just think, everyone on earth had to be born, so that means a lot of women have had to give birth, and I'm sure you're stronger than a lot of them," Joe explained.

"What?"

"Nevermind. I promise you'll be fine. I'll be there and so will your parents and Zoe and Alfie. Oh, and my parents will meet us back at my flat afterwards, as well as Caspar."

"Okay," I nodded.

"You should be more excited, because then you'll get to hold Noah."

"Yeah," I agreed.

"Come on, let's get to sleep," Joe smiled as he got changed.

I nodded in agreement as I changed into just a big shirt because trousers are becoming too uncomfortable to wear.

"Goodnight baby," Joe hummed as he laid next to me.

"'Night," I yawned before falling asleep.
