Chapter 19- Home?

A/N

Me and @fitzistrash are doing a crossover. To understand Celeste and her past, you have to read their book, Trying To Find Home.

---

I woke up with a start, sweat all over my back. But sweat wasn't the only liquid there, and blood started to seep through my shirt. I had fallen asleep writing and figuring out how to go back. These are the only clothes that I have. Great.

Suddenly, I felt hands on back and tried not to flinch. But I was able to refrain from hurting her. It was Caitlin. She obviously saw the blood.

"What happened?" Caitlin asked, concerned.

"Did I forget to tell you any injuries I get in my dreams, I get in real life?" I look at her face, "I'll take that as a no. Don't worry. I have super healing. I should be fine."

She nodded her head, "What if you die in your dream, though?"

I shrug, "My dad is working on a cure. Its an illness that needs to be cured. But I did have meds for my nightmares. It helped most of the time."

She looks back at me, pitying, "What if you can't get home?"

Anger bubbles up inside of me, "I will get home. I have to, I've got no choice. Does Supergirl doubt herself? Wait, no. She's a superhero, she obviously does sometimes. That's not the point. When Supergirl and the Flash met, they were able to get him back to his earth- THAT'S IT!"

She raises an eyebrow, "What's it?"

I smile, excited, "Well, in the show Supergirl, Barry accidentally runs so fast that he goes to another earth. Unfortunately, he didn't know how to get back. But, then they figured it out at the end of the episode. They combined their speed, because Barry couldn't replicate the original, and then opened a rip in between the multiverse."

"And how does it work? The rip?"

I shrug, "You have to focus on which earth you want to go to. If you don't make it back to your earth, and end up in another one, it's your fault."

1 hour later

We finally made it to the field that we planned to do this on. Celeste wasn't fond of the idea that since she doesn't have superspeed, me or Barry would have to carry her and run. Then, the person holding her would throw her, and the other would push her with their speed.

Unfortunately, it may end up breaking a few of her bones. Luckily, she's Regenerator. She'll heal pretty quickly. But that's not the point. We're going to go home!

I told Celeste how it works, the rip between worlds. She also seems pretty set on the idea that I'm the one to carry her. Maybe it's because if I try anything, she can beat my ass. Which, I won't, of course, try anything.

To be honest, I've had a lot of fun. Believe it or not. I'm around two people who can eat as much as me, Celeste even more. If dad were to see this, he'd roll his eyes and joke about me being with my own kind.

Maybe sometime I'd visit. Barry or Celeste. I'd like to see her world. I've never been in a fanfiction world before, it's all so crazy. But, then again, I haven't been to many worlds. And I hope the next time I go to a new one, I want to be there.

I look at the team, eyes getting watery, "Though you guys are weird, after I get home, I'll miss you. It's only been a week, but it feels like forever. Celeste, I know we aren't friends, but maybe sometime I can visit?"

Celeste laughs, "And then we can tease Stark about you technically being his daughter."

I laugh too, "Yeah. I never really thought about it like that. If it wasn't for my mother going missing and her DNA in the system, my dad could've been another version of Tony Stark."

She rolls her eyes, "Get your sappy goodbyes over with, I need to go home."

I smile, "So do I. I will visit Team Flash sometime again. To you, it may be seconds or minutes. To me, it could be anything but. I'm going to have to watch your show after this, see what I've ruined by just being here."

Caitlin walks up to me and pulls me into a hug, "Goodbye."

Barry settles for a handshake, "I hope to see you again, but not when your universe is at stake."

Joe gives me a handshake too, "I really wish you could tell us the future."

I shrug, "I can't be here to monitor it. Trust me. I would if I could."

Harrison just rolls up and looks at me, "I know you know more than you said. For that, I'm thankful. Changing the timeline is a dangerous and unpredictable thing. I wish you well."

Cisco comes and gives me a hug, "Don't destroy the suit."

I laugh, "Wasn't planning on it."

They say their goodbyes to Celeste, but I don't listen in. That's their thing. I can tell a lot of them want to give her a hug, but they know her boundaries by now. They just do handshakes.

"You ready?" I ask Celeste.

"Ready as I could be."

I grab her and start running as fast as I can. I see Barry starting to run, and he gains on me. He's right next to me, and I throw her, he hits her in the back, throwing her through the newly opened rip.

We turn around and go back to the starting point. We don't wanna risk me being thrown into the team. We start running, and when we get fast enough, he pushes me, and I go through a new rip.

The rip is a pretty blue. But, I can't think about that. As I run through the rip, I focus on my world. What I've done there. The day I want to arrive. Which is a week after my disappearance. I close my eyes, and then I'm out of the rip. I look around.

I'm home. I'm in my room in the Avenger's Tower. And sitting on my bed, looking like a depresso expresso, is my dad.

I run up to him, "Dad?"
