Chapter sixteen

harmony sighed as she slid out of her bed and walked downstairs hearing loud banging.

she opened the door and immediately tried to slam it but demario stuck his foot in the door.

"move shawty, nigga tryna apologize." he sighed pushing the door open causing her to roll her eyes.

"ion accept it, fuck on folks" harmony spat opening the door so he could leave back out.

"money ian mean to i got upset-" "cause i heard you on the phone with a bitch shordy" harmony cut him off causing him to sigh.

"yeen een take yo ring off folks you punched me straight in my jaw" harmony shook her head growing irritated of holding the door open.

"i reacted too fast mama i'm sorry." demario said as he gently grabbed her face.

"how you get my address?" harmony asked furrowing her eyebrows at him.

"you worried bout da-" "get the fuck out folks fa i call somebody to beatcho ass." harmony warned pulling him towards the door.

"you gon call dat nigga you was fuckin on yo story?" demario asked pulling away from her causing her to chuckle.

"folks get out my crib." she said again as she called shiesty.

"ian goin nowhea, gone close dat doe" demario shrugged taking a seat on the couch.

"wassup money?" shiesty answered as he and alexander headed to her house.

"folks come get dis goofy bitch ass nigga out my crib now." harmony said causing demario to look at her.

"we onna way" alexander said before harmony hung the phone up.

"yo ass a brewster fa real ju" demario chuckled as he stood up off her couch.

"folks yo bitch ass mama is too, get out!" harmony yelled as she ran upstairs seeing demario making his way to her.

he ran upstairs after her before snatching her back by her hair.

"stop folks!" she screamed as he punched her in her face.

demario grabbed harmony by her neck before continuously punching her in the face.

"keep my mama name out yo mouth bitch." demario spat mugging her before throwing her on the ground.

"aye money!!" alexander yelled as he ran in the house leaving the door open for shiesty.

"getcho ass innat bathroom." demario said sternly as he snatched her up by her arm and pushed her in the bathroom.

harmony went to scream but she decided against it, cleaning the blood off her face.

demario walked out of harmony's room only to be met with alexander and shiesty.

"whea money??" shiesty asked clutching on his pole.

"bathroom, i just ran ole boy off" demario lied dapping them up before walking past them.

"fasho.." alexander mumbled eyeing shiesty before he opened harmony's door.

he went in her room and tried to open the bathroom door but harmony pushed it back shut.

"whats goin on witchu bestie?" alexander asked trying to open the door again but she locked it.

"nun im straight." harmony lied as she stared at the swelling around her eye.

"bagg got rid of ole boy?" shiesty asked and harmony rolled her eyes at the lie.

"yeah, few minutes foe yall came. aye get out i'm naked." harmony lied causing the two men to leave her room, closing the door after themselves.

she found some make up and started applying it around the dark spots on her face.

she then put on a full face of make up before walking out of her bathroom.

she went downstairs to the living room where alexander and shiesty were sitting.

"where you been at bestie? we aint seen you in the club nomo or nun." alexander said causing harmony to shake her head.

"aint been wanting to be around nobody fareal folks, been goin thru it." harmony admitted taking a seat in between them.

"what's goin on monyun?" shiesty asked passing her the wood causing her to chuckle.

"did i tell y'all how me and von met?" harmony asked and they shook their heads no as she hit the wood.

"so 6 years ago round bout dis time i was looking for anybody that knew anything about what happened ta my sista. i seen von sister and beat ha ass cause she fought my sista." harmony started taking another drag from the wood.

"couple days lata i went back ta parkway gardens and von was tryna fuck wit me. ian want em doe so i kept it pushin. me and his sista ended up fightin cause i pushed him. i ended up shooting von dat day thats when we became opps." harmony explained raising alexanders eyebrows.

"wait why youn fuck wit von nomo?" shiesty asked taking the words from alexanders mouth.

"von killed my sister. ian find out til after he took my virginity-" "you was a virgin!?" shiesty yelled cutting her off.

"yes folks, anyways. a few weeks ago i went to gigi crib and von was there we got into it bad. then i found out he killed my brother." harmony stopped taking a minute to suck her tears up.

"ian even go to his funeral it was yestaday.." harmony mumbled as a tear slid out of her eye.

"damn... i'm sorry bestie we'a kill dat nigga if you want us to." alexander said as he pulled harmony into a hug.

"preciate it.. it's straight ima get em." harmony shrugged passing the wood before getting up off the couch.

"i'm finna crash til its time to open the club folks." harmony said as she stood up off the couch.

she dapped alexander and shiesty up before heading upstairs to her room.

once she was in her room she closed her door and climbed back in the bed.

Hours later

harmony sat in her office counting her earnings before cardo walked in.

"boss somebody wanna see you." he said before stepping to the side allowing demario in.

"unt uh ion wanna talk. cardo get him outta hea!" harmony yelled standing up from her desk.

"bruh ima catch yo ass just wait" he asked laughed smirking deviously at her as cardo grabbed his arm and escorted him out of her office.

harmony sat back down shaking her head as she continued to count her money.

she sighed as she got up and locked her door before going into her dressing room.

she got down on her knees before closing her eyes.

"dear god, i know i havent came to you in a while but some tellin me ta talk ta you. butta if you can hear me i'm sorry. im so sorry i wasn't there for you when you needed me. god i pray you have mercy on my brothers soul we were just trying to survive. in jesus name i pray amen." harmony prayed allowing tears to slide down her face.

she finally broke down crying allowing her tears to spill out of her eyes.

she cried long and hard for about 20 minutes before getting up off her knees.

she wiped her eyes before standing up off the ground.

once she cleaned her face up she walked out of her dressing room.

she took a seat before looking up as her door opened.

"money they ass in here fighting" cardo said causing her to sigh as she stood up from her desk.

she walked out of her office before following cardo.

"where da fuck dey at?" harmony asked furrowing her eyebrows once they passed the dressing room.

"on da stage" he mumbled causing harmony to sigh deeply as she took a short cut to the stage.

she walked on the stage and sighed seeing harlem was fighting.

harmony pulled Dussé and harlem apart before dragging them to her office by their arm.

"whoeva next need to be onnat fucking stage! clean kash earnings up before any bitch go out dea!" harmony yelled as she drug the girls to her office.

"why the fuck y'all fighting on my stage?" harmony asked mugging them as she sat on her desk.

"this bitch throwing quarters at me while i'm dancing" harlem spat mugging dussé who was wiping blood from her nose.

"why would you do some hating shit like dat folks? she dance betta den you" harmony shrugged causing dussé to mug her.

"bitch no the-" harmony cut her off punching her in the mouth.

"get out folks you done." harmony chuckled grabbing her by her hair.

she drug her to the door before opening it. "get dis bitch outta hea folks." harmony said as she pushed her out the door.

"harlem getcho money and go home. you need to stop fighting folks." harmony said sternly as she mugged her.

"money that shit hurted, you get onna stage and let a bitch throw quaters atchu hard as fuck" harlem slightly fussed looking at harmony funny.

"i said what i said lil folks, go home." harmony said sternly as she took a seat at her desk. 

harlem shook her head walking out of harmony's office leaving her to count money.
