Chapter twelve

January 8th 2020Jacksonville Florida

"youn got what it take shordy, next!" harmony yelled dismissing a dancer from her presence.

harmony watched a young girl strut onto the stage, she went to stop her but she closed her mouth.

she carefully watched as she did her performance, harmony was fascinated at how elegantly she moved.

after her performance was finished harmony couldn't hold her applause.

"you fye shordy ian gon cap... how old you is?" harmony asked looking in her eyes, as she walked closer to her.

"seventeen but-" "can't do it, you gon get me locked back up lil folks" harmony sighed running her hands down her face.

"look i won't tell anyone my age! i gotta help my sister pay these medical bills.. i can't lose my sister like this.." harlem unintentionally confessed causing harmony to sigh.

"i'a put you on the maybe list. if i hire you, yo face can't be shown to the public thats a non-negotiable." harmony said sternly as she pulled a notebook out.

"yes ma'am, i'm harlem." she said causing harmony to smirk a little.

"write yo numba down i'a think on it." harmony said sliding her the notebook before going in her dufflebag.

"hm shordy, take care of yo business." harmony said as she handed harlem a stack of money.

"t-thank you." harlem said as she hugged harmony, catching her off guard.

"you good shordy be safe getting to da crib" harmony said as harlem let her go and walked off.

"next!" harmony yelled as she took a sip from her styrofoam cup.

a few hours later she was in her office, looking over her notes.

"i did like diamond but harlem gon bring the money out.." harmony mumbled to herself as she scanned her notes.

"what raheem?" harmony sighed as she answered her phone.

"harmony you bogus as fuck g. von killed our sister and you cuddled up with this nigga!?" raheem snapped causing harmony's heart to sink.

"what the fuck are you talking about butta?" harmony asked as she stood up from her seat.

"grandson killed kirah! why the fuck you think i said dont fuck with shordy g?" raheem asked, harmony only hung up in response.

she quickly left the club and made her way home, where dayvon was.

about 10 minutes later harmony got out of her car and walked straight in the house.

"grandson!" she screamed as she slammed the door, causing dayvon to run downstairs.

"what ma??" he asked before furrowing his eyebrows seeing her gun pointing at him.

"you killed my sister?" harmony asked as tears brimmed her eyes, dayvon just stared at her.

"thats why you haven't killed me yet... you knew." harmony clenched her jaw as everything finally started making sense.

"harmony calm-" "fuck that! you killed my sister then sat in my face like you didn't!" harmony cut him off cocking her gun.

she shot at him but he quickly got on the ground.

"ma stop! i wanted ta tell you i-" "you what!? wanted to fuck me first!?" harmony cut him off as she shot at him again.

dayvon tackled her on the ground before grabbing her gun from her.

harmony punched dayvon in his face before rolling over on top of him.

she sat on top of him and punched him in his face.

dayvon didn't fight back since he honestly deserved it.

"ma stop! what he-" "jojo get the fuck off me folks!" harmony cut jojo off pushing him off of her.

"jojo go upstairs folks now." dayvon said sternly as he stood up and wiped the blood from his nose.

jonathan went to protest but he decided against it letting harmony go, going upstairs.

"harmony i-" "von get the fuck out fa i kill yo bitch ass on tooka." harmony cut him off, mugging him.

he didn't say anything he just nodded, walking out of her house.

harmony paced back and forth for a second before punching a hole in the wall.

"fuck!" harmony yelled as she grabbed her keys and walked out of the house.
