The Grandline

(This is a long one peeps! be prepared and enjoy the chapter!)

"Jeez, reverse mountain is still as chaotic as I remember it" Ace rubbed the bump on his head

Reverse mountain had been, a small hassle, to say the least. Quite a few pirates were nursing a bump or two from the wild ride that they went through to enter the Grandline.

"Gurararara! It's been so long I almost forgot reverse mountain!" Whitebeard laughed

"OIIIIII"

"Wah! Luffy! Why are you yelling!" Ace bonked the rubber boy on the head

Luffy seemed unaffected by the blow

"CROCUS! LABOON! IT'S BEEN SO LONG!" Luffy waved towards the base of the mountain where a lighthouse and some sort of giant wall resided

"Is that a friking whale!?" Thatch yelled out

"Shhh! I sense someone coming out of the lighthouse! Keep quiet everyone!" Marco called out

A scarred looking whale slowly came into view as they approached the lighthouse

"Oh, If it isn't the future pirate king!" An old white haired man with a weird head piece came out of the lighthouse

"Hi old man!" Luffy greeted

"What are you doing on that ship?" Crocus questioned "It's quite an accurate replica of the Whitebeard pirate's ship" 

"Yep! It's cool isn't it!" Luffy hung on the railing

"It's very impressive that's for sure, It looks almost identical to the real Moby Dick" Crocus complemented

"Tsk, because it is the real one" Ace whispered

"Shut, not the time Ace, we can't be heard yoi" Marco reprimanded the fire user

Crocus narrowed his eyes towards the ship

The Whitebeard's sweat-dropped slightly

"What are you doing back here in the Grandline, brat? Last I saw from the news coo, you were causing chaos in New World" Crocus turned towards Luffy

The straw-hatted captain jumped down from the ship to pat Laboon on the head

"Ehhh, well, It's kinda weird to explain but, I gotta get back to the New World soon! My crew is probably worried that I've dissapeared for so long" Luffy laughs (he technically shishishi's)

"I won't hinder you any further then, good luck future pirate king" Crocus smiles as he walks back to his lighthouse

"Thanks!" Luffy turns back to Laboon "You take care until I come back with Brook, alright Laboon?

Laboon whistles 

Luffy laughs again and jumps back onto the 'Fake' Moby Dick

"Onwards to Alabasta! I have a friend to meet!" Luffy grins

With eternal poses, the Whitebeard's reached the desired island quite fast

"Alright, I've got the list of what needs to be restocked" Marco said "Thatch, Ace and obviously Luffy, you're coming with me"

"Yosh! Let's go" Luffy begins to run towards the city

"Not so fast!" Thatch snatches the back of Luffy's cardigan

"Ehhh, Thatchttt!" Luffy whines

"You gotta put these robes on, the desert heat is no joke!" Thatch throws Luffy a red robe

"But Ace and Marco aren't wearing any!" Luffy complains

"That's because their devil fruits allow them to, Ace is a flame brain and doesn't feel shit. And Marco is already fire turkey, heat doesn't bother him" Thatch lifts one finger as he explains

Thatch nurses two bumps on his head as he walks towards the city of Alabasta

The three Whitebeard's were visible but had a disguise on

"If I remember correctly this place was under Crocodile's control" Marco points out

"Didn't you say you fought him Luff?" Ace looks at his brother

"Yep! I helped Vivi get her kingdom back" Luffy happily calls out "I haven't seen her since! I'm exited to meet her again!"

"Wait, her kingdom?" Thatch turns to Luffy

"Yeah! she's the princess!" Luffy picks at his nose

"You're friends with the princess of Alabasta?!!" Thatch yells

"Yep! she's cool! she's got a bird!" Luffy laughs

"Ace, what kind of people does your brother attract yoi?" Marco asks

Ace merely shrugs

 "I see the castle!" Luffy runs off towards the palace

"Oi! Luffy! Wait for us!" Ace chases after the younger

"Hold on! We're going to the palace!?" Thatch runs after the siblings

Marco just sighs

The group arrived at the palace gates where 2 guards stood

"I'm here to see Vivi!" Luffy yells out

"Luffy! You can't just say you want to see the friking princess and expect them to let you in!" Thatch whisper yells

The guards looked at Luffy, recognition lighting up in their eyes

"Follow us right this way Luffy-san, It's good to see you again" One of the guards motioned for him to follow

Jaws were dropped

"Shishishi! Let's go!"

The group were led to a room with a table of food, Ace and Luffy immediately started digging in

"We've informed the princess of your and your companions arrival, Luffy-san, she'll be here shortly" The guard told them

"Oshkay! th-nk u!" Luffy replied with a mouth-full of food

The Whitebeard's took off their disguise after the guards left

"I can't believe they just let us in like that yoi" Marco spoke out

"Luffy's relations are no joke, haha!" Thatch laughed

A few minuted passed before the door opened revealing a blue haired woman in an Alabastian style summer dress

"LUFFY!" The woman excitedly yelled as she threw herself towards the man

"Vivi! Long time no see!" Luffy hugged his old time friend back

"Yes! It has! How are the rest?" Vivi pulled away from the hug

"They're good! I think" Luffy laughs

"The guards also said you brought company, who are-" Vivi cut herself off as she looked behind Luffy towards the pirates

She froze for a few seconds

"A-Ace-san..?" Vivi slowly questioned

"Uh, hi! You must be Vivi! Luffy's friend, right?" Ace smiled politely

"H-how..What..?" The blue-haired woman stuttered "But you're..!"

"Vivi!" Luffy cut her off

The princess turns to her friend

"It's a long story, but, they've accidentally time traveled...from the past to here" Luffy explains "I'm trying to get them back...to the past"

"I...see" Vivi looks sadly at the rubber man

"It's good to meet you again, Ace-san. We've met once when you came to visit Luffy in Alabasta" Vivi smiles sadly at the commander

Ace nods a bit confused at the sudden gloominess emitting off of his brother and the princess

"Anyways! where are the others, Luffy?" Vivi changes the topic

"I got pushed into the past and traveled back about a week ago. They're probably looking for me, shishishi!" Luffy laughs "Nami's probably worried out of her mind, I gotta find them soon" 

Vivi laughs "She definitely is"

"As much as I'd hate to interrupt  this reunion, Luffy, we still have to go restock yoi" Marco said

"Oh! I can do that for you if you'd like, phoenix-san" Vivi offered 

"There's no need, princess, we wouldn't want to trouble you" 

"It's fine! you guys are Luffy's friends! I can do that for you guys! I'll ask the guards to bring whatever you need to your ship" Vivi smiles

"Thank you then, princess!" Thatch replies handing her the list

"Of course, It was really nice meeting you again, Luffy!" Vivi hugs the rubber captain again "I'll see you later, yeah?" 

Luffy smiles "Yeah! Shishishi!"

"Are we headed to Sabaody, pops?" Ace approached his father

"Yes, we've stocked up enough to last us there" Whitebeard looks down at his adoptive son "How's your brother?"

"He was a bit sad to leave his friend, but he'll cheer up the moment he hears there's meat for dinner" Ace laughs

"Gurarara! You D's are all food motivated!" Whitebeard smiles

"He was acting a bit strange when the princess noticed me though" Ace brings up the interaction

"Strange? How?" The old man questions

"We apparently meet in the future, but she seemed...a bit too shocked to see me" Ace crosses his arms over his chest "She was about to say something else when Luffy abruptly stopped her"

"Hmm" Whitebeard thought for a bit "Maybe something's happened in the future"

"And we can't know what happened, cause it's best we aren't aware future events yoi" Marco walked out from behind the captain's chair

"Have you been eavesdropping?" Ace glared and pouted at his adoptive brother

"I wouldn't put it that way yoi" Marco replied

"Marco is right though, Ace, It's for the better that we don't know what happens" Whitebeard said

Ace sighed before agreeing

"Crap! there's marines!" Someone called out

There was a marine lookout ship in the distance

"Not that suprising considering we're close to Enies Lobby" Jiru said

"Ah! it's that weird floating island place!" Luffy called out

"Huh? floating island?" Ace stood beside his brother by the railing

"Yeah! The island is floating over a giant hole in the ocean!" Luffy bounced on his toes

"And you know this how yoi?" Marco dreaded the answer, as did everyone else on deck

"I went there to save Robin!" Luffy kept bouncing on his toes

"Oh god" Ace put a hand over his face "What did you do?" 

"Hmm? I went there,declared war on the world, fought some marines called cd's or something, escaped a weird golden snail call and saved Robin!" Luffy happily replied, oblivious to the reaction of the pirates

"Ohh okay, you just declared war on the government and fought some top government officers" Ace grabbed Luffy by the shoulders

"YOU DECLARED WAR ON THE GOVERNMENT AND GOT CAUGHT IN A BUSTER CALL YOU IDIOT!" Ace shook Luffy back and forth while yelling

After a few minutes of Ace yelling and Luffy being shaken, Marco decided to step in

"Ace, calm down, It's all in the past. At least he didn't break into Impel Down or something crazier, right?" Marco stopped Ace's attack on the younger by trying to reason with the older sibling

"Yeah! I totally didn't go into Impel Down and fight the poison guy!" Luffy looked of to the side while he pouted his lips

The 2 commanders turned to Luffy very slowly

"You...what?" Ace's eyes were shadowed by his hat 

"I tried to save you yoi" Marco sighed

Safe to say, there was a lot of running and yelling that day
