ALANNA'S POV

" you've seen porn photos " Briony asked Jamie as it had somehow be led into conversation

" hasn't everyone seen them these days " I say with a laugh coming out with it

" no , not porn just these two girls in my year , that I knew . Well know " Jamie said , correcting himself on the last bit

Briony then went to look in my direction, I'm guessing she was questioning wether one of the photos belonged to me .

" well they weren't mine " I exclaim, annoyed that she would even think to look at me for something like that

" you've seen two girls in your year topless " Briony questions

" yeah " Jamie admits

" would they be happy that you saw those photos " she then asks

" well it's there fault for sending them " I say simply

" yeah and everyone else saw them too " Jamie said

" was Katie one of those two girls " Briony then said

" what " Jamie said shocked that she would even dare to bring it up

" how do you know that " I ask , curious to see how she had jumped to that conclusion

" how did you guess that " Jamie asked at the same time as me

" I didn't guess that , I asked and know I want to know what it felt like to see that " she confirmed

" in particular , how does it feel looking at photos of naked people that you know" she says adding more information

" I dunno , good " Jamie said whilst he looked down at the table

" eww that's gross " I say as I pretend to be sick

" no , that's just weird " Jamie spoke

" I'm going to agree with Jamie " I say , my face riddled with disgust

" she was quite , no offence but quite flat , you know " Jamie spoke quietly

" yeah it was never her best attribute " I say abruptly from my thoughts , not really expecting for it to come out

After I said that I instantly received a stern look from Briony which instantly made me avoid eye contact and shut my mouth.

" right " Briony spoke , sounding a bit taken back by her comment

" well everyone said it that saw it , not just me " Jamie spoke up

" well Alanna you saw it I assume , did you say it " she spoke

" she was my best friend and I'm no sure about you my I don't backstab my best friend " I say in a snarky way

" Jamie , I asked wether you were attracted to girls , do you think that girls are attracted to you " She then asked

" what sort of question that " Jamie asked as he gave Briony a funny look

" what about you Alanna , do you find boys attractive " She then asked again, turning to look at me

" well I'm not gay if that's what your asking me " I speak up , getting all defensive

" no , ofcourse not " Jamie said like he was grimacing just at the thought of it

" why , of course not " she asked , quoting what Jamie had just said

" cause I'm ugly " Jamie said honestly

" how does that make you feel " she asked

" well aren't you supposed to say that I'm not ugly " Jamie asked , not getting the response that he was hoping for

" well that would be a bit weird don't you think , you know I say considering the age gap " I mutter under my breath but that doesn't stop Briony from giving me a dirty look

" yeah well you don't say stuff normal people do " Jamie said in snarky tone

" well then how would you feel if I did say that you weren't ugly " she asked

" come on don't you think this is getting a bit awkward now " I ask just to get completely ignored again

" I don't know why you don't say the things that normal people say " Jamie questioned

" maybe cause she's not normal " I say simply

" you think I should contradict you when I say you're ugly " Briony states

" I dunno " Jamie said quietly

" I'm interested in the fact that you think you're ugly Jamie " She says

" well if you just told him that he wasn't ugly then he wouldn't believe that would he , problem solved " I pipe up sarcastically

" well how would you know , you wouldn't would you cause you're dead pretty " Jamie said talking to Briony

" this isn't about me Jamie , I'm not the interesting one and I want to understand you " She spoke

" you want to understand , my understanding of my understanding " Jamie spoke raising his voice

" yes " she spoke firmly

" the other bloke it much easier " Jamie admitted

" yeah I would have to agree you do ask some weird questions, no offence " I say

" wether I understand what I did " he say which then just set him off again as the realisation setttled in to what he just admitted.
