Lumine's POV:

I had gotten a concussion from the fall. So I was in bed rest. I couldn't focus much my head felt like it had been scrambled. Ajax was at work. Forcing me to stay at his place so I could be better looked over. Even so I still did some work from home when he was gone. I'm sure he won't notice! I put everything away when I noticed he'd be home soon. I got back in bed quickly and picked up my phone to act like I'd been relaxing all day. "Lumine!" He called.I sat up. "Ajax!" I smiled.He came close to me and basically picked me up out of the bed hugging me. "You pick me up so effortless!" I giggled"Lumine your supposed to be resting. I told you no work." He frowned at me."How did you know?!?" I asked confused."I'm the CEO, I see all the work that gets done by who and when. Especially from my personal assistant." He snuggled me close to him as he sat down on the bed. "I'm not that bad! I can do some work!" I said."Lumine you hurt your head really bad, I need to know your here safe. I'll stay with you here tomorrow okay?" He said. "N-No! No no! You have meetings tomorrow! You cant cancel those! And two are old fashion so you cant do a face call!" I said."Well I'm more worried about you then some business guys." He said."They are very important!" I argued."No. Im not going if your gonna be here working! Promise me you won't work tomorrow! Please?" He begger looking deep into my eyes.I sighed and pressed my forehead to his."Okay... I won't work..." I sighed."Promise me.." he said"I promise you." I looked into his eyes."Good... I swear your gonna be the reason I get grey hairs at 26." he laughed.I giggled. "Mmm~ I'll get them before you so don't worry.." I laughed."Hmm.." he looked at me."W-What is it?" I asked."When do women become infertile?" He asked.Infertile why would he? Like menopause?"I-I'm not that old! Jerk!" I glared at him.He looked at me wide eyed. "N-No! I didn't mean it like that!" He quickly defended himself."I'm only 27..." I said but then felt old saying that."Normally women who are late 30 and early 40 start to struggle with fertility..." I said."Oh thank god I have a bit of time.." he sighed."You have a bit of time?" I giggled."W-well I can take my time with you.. to make you fall for me more, and then have you say yes when I propose, and then I do at our wedding and then finally a family..." he smiled.My face flushed."D-don't take too much time for all that okay?" I blushed.His face flustered as he looked over at me before laughing and tackling me to the bed. I giggled as he hugged me tightly."You're so cute..." he chuckled.———-

I had finally healed and gotten back to normal. Back in the office and work my ass off from all that I missed and everyone was glad to have me back. I thought things between me and Ajax would get more serious. Now that Signora is out of the way. But it hasn't changed at all. Just dinner dates at his place, sex whenever we can, he would sneak into my office every chance he could get. Shared glances. That's about it. How does he plan to marry me if we haven't even been on a real date! Aether keeps texting me too. He wants to meet him and so do my parents now. Christmas is coming up. Our business closes for a week. I'm sure we'll have time then right? A week passed by and I had no idea how to ask him. I was so nervous. Nervous he'd say no. So instead I added it to his schedule and put a little ? By it. Now I just have to hope he'd see it. He gets notifications when I add things to his planner. He should see it! I took a deep breath and continue with my work but pretty soon it was the end of the day. There was nothing left for me to do and he hadn't dropped by. I packed up myself. And watered my plants. "Stay warm! See you guys tomorrow.." I smiled at my plants."So she does always talk to her plants!" I heard a laugh behind me."W-Why do you always walk in when I do this?.." I laughed nervously as I looked to Ajax behind me.He came close wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me into a kiss."Sorry I didn't have time to see you today.."He smiled."It's okay! You were packed tight with meetings today!" I smiled."So wanna talk about the thing on my planner!"He smirked and picked me up placing me on my desk."W-Well it's been a few months. Aether and my parents want to formally meet you.." I blushed."Hmm... we'll i cant leave my siblings all alone. But my parents should meet yours two. My home is plenty big, so why don't you guys spend Christmas with my family?" He smiled at me."Is that really okay?" I asked nervously. "Of course! We have plenty of room! Plus, I think it's about time we start taking this relationship more seriously. Even if we still have to be careful. I'm crazing about you Lumine. I love you." He smiled,"Right when I think it's all gonna end, you pull me right back in.." I smiled."Beleive me.. you're not escaping me now!" He laughed as he kissed me."Lumine I completely forgot to drop these papers off earlier- OH MY GOD!" I looked over to see none other than Amber.
