A few days had passed since Sophia got to Camp Jaha. Kane had gone to try and negotiate peace amongst them and the grounders. Clarke had come back. Finn and Murphy, Sophia had no clue where they had gone. She was busy helping Sinclair and Raven, well more so, she was watching what the two were doing and learning.

"No wonder we haven't been able to make any kind of radio contact...Mount Weather is interfering with the signals. We need to get someone inside to infiltrate and shut off whatever they're using to jam the signal." Raven muttered before looking at Sophia.

"Oh no. Fuck no. I'm not going back in that place. Why don't you make Clarke go or something?" Sophia frowned.

"Not wanting to pull your weight? Sounds familiar, but I mean, I guess that's to be expected with how attached you were to Murphy when you got here." Raven rolled her eyes.

"Murphy is NOT my boyfriend. That kiss meant absolutely nothing. It was a mistake that won't be happening again." Sophia insisted, but there was that pang again. That pang telling her she didn't mean it. She didn't mean it, and she knew it.

"Speak of the roach..." Raven muttered, going back to work as Murphy, Bellamy, Finn, and Clarke came through the gates. Sophia noted the tension as she made her way over.

"What happened?" She questioned. There was silence. Murphy just shook his head as he walked passed, grabbing Sophia's wrist to drag her along.

"Wha-- Murphy, what the hell?" She questioned as she followed him back to their room. Murphy just wordlessly plopped himself down on one of the beds, letting out a tired groan as he plopped back.

"Finn lost it. I don't know who the fuck that is out there, but it sure as shit isn't Finn." Murphy waved his arm around as he spoke. Sophia arched a brow as she decided to sit on Murphy's bed with him.

"It must have been pretty bad if you, of all people, are calling Finn crazy." She joked, making Murphy roll his eyes as he poked Sophia. "Very funny." He muttered with a sigh.

"We should get out of this place." Murphy sat up. "The grounders are going to want a fight for what Finn did. I don't know about you, but I'd rather NOT be here when that happens." Sophia frowned, shaking her head. "It won't come to that. Kane is talking to the grounder's leaders. It'll work-" "it's a pipe dream, Soph! You saw for yourself what the grounders are capable of. You saw what the grounders did to me. Do you really think that after what Finn did, the grounders are just going to kneel over and join us? They're going to march and kill us all! I'm not going to be here when it happens. Come with me, Soph. We can survive together. Somewhere away from here where we don't have to worry about the grounders."

Sophia frowned, shaking her head. "I can't, Murph. Jasper is still in Mount Weather. If an alliance with the grounders can bring me closer to getting Jasper out if there, I'm staying." Murphy let out an annoyed groan, flopping over on his bed again before nudging Sophia off with his leg.

Sophia looked over at Murphy. She was about to say something when she heard a commotion going on outside. Murphy sat back up, and the pair looked at each other in confusion before getting up to head outside to investigate.

"Holy shit-" Sophia blinked as they got out and saw Jaha. "He's alive-" Murphy blinked, just as shocked. They watched as the adults all started surrounding Jaha, asking him questions.

Jaha fell to his knees in exhaustion as he spoke up, "I have a message from the grounder's commander. Leave or die, we have two days."

Sophia's eyes widened as her stomach dropped. "We can't leave..." She frowned. Her mind started spiraling, the thoughts of her brother-- her friends. All are still trapped in Mount Weather. If they left, there would be no saving them.

Murphy looked over at Sophia. He noted how she seemed to be starting to panic, her breathing coming out ragged. Murphy frowned, grabbing her arm to lead her away from the growing crowd of people, all shouting over each other, wanting answers.

Murphy stopped by the water barrel, filling a cup for Sophia before handing it to her. "We...we can't go. Our people are still in Mount Weather." She mumbled after taking a sip of water. "They'll be fine. Besides, I highly doubt Clarke will willingly leave them behind. If anything, I bet she's already planning something to get them out of there."

"She tried that before with Anya, and look where that got us. If it weren't for that war against the grounders, we all could have been safe and away from Mount Weather." Sophia muttered. "Clarke wouldn't have given up. The whole reason we were sent down here was to see if Earth was habitable AND to get to Mount Weather. There just would have been more of us there." Murphy pointed out. "Alright, fair enough. So what do you suggest we do?" She questioned.

Murphy thought about it for a moment, looking over to see Clarke, Bellamy, and Finn head out to who really knew where. "We give them Finn." Murphy shrugged. "John!" Sophia hit his chest. "That's the first time you've used my first name-" he grunted when she hit his chest again. "Alright, alright. Just hear me out on this one. The grounders are pissed that basically an entire village of their people was murdered-" Sophia's eyes widened. "What?" Murphy covered her mouth to stop herself from questioning more. "Finn murdered a village of grounders, women, children, all because he was so desperate to find Clarke and was sure the grounders took her. Anyway, we give Finn over to the grounders, maybe they'll spare the rest of us. They just want revenge for what fucking psycho did. It's the best way, then we can still stay here, we can still plan a breakout at Mount Weather, everyone can be happy...with the exception of Raven and Clarke, but they'll get over it."

Sophia sighed, crossing her arms as she thought about it. "This is fucking insane, you realize that, right? Offering one of our own up as a sacrifice? For what? A chance of being spared by the grounders?" Murphy shrugged, crossing his arms as he stood next to Sophia. "I don't hear you coming up with a better plan, Princess." Sophia rolled her eyes at the damn nickname again before elbowing his side. "Shut it with the damn nickname, Murph." She muttered in annoyance.

"I'm just saying. This is the only way. And you know it." Sophia frowned, her shoulders sagging.

This was insane. There's no way she's actually considering agreeing with Murphy's plan and sacrificing Finn for a chance of being spared and being able to rescue the others from Mount Weather. It was all just talk...right?
