Part 9
22:40, 5 December 2025"Do you know how to play any other of our songs?" he asked me.
"Yeah, some of them," I answered nervously.
"Let's play Zitti e buoni then," he suggested.
When the music in the background started, he began singing and I started playing the guitar.
I was barely focused on playing because I couldn't stop looking at him. He was so fucking relaxed and calm, yet still had that special rock wilderness and fire in his eyes.
"Oh god," I said when we finished. He put down the microphone and pulled me into a hug. Then he hugged Santa. Of course, I first looked at the guitar in my hand. I closely observed the curves, the color, the brand.
"Do you like it? I heard you have a small collection of your own guitars," he said.
I nodded and smiled widely. Then he took a permanent marker from his pocket, took the guitar, and signed it. "I love your energy, keep it. And if I ever come to Thailand, you're gonna show me your collection and your boyfriend is gonna record a TikTok of us three."
I took the guitar back from him and read: For Perth, a brave Thai rocker. Damiano David.
