Chapter Twenty One

You all went out of the door and into the main room

"I think he's been chasing it the entire time" M said in a hurried manner

"He was just looking for the right time to take it. It happened to be today" you added

"High T is the mole. He's gotta be" M looked at you and H

"A mole for who? Where would he take it?" You held his hand for mental support, you knew he felt betrayed by someone he trusted for so long

You three stopped to look at each other

"Paris" all of you turned to see Agent C running towards you three"My guess would be Paris" he continued

"That makes sense. It's where it all started" you said

"Yes. I knew all along that something was off" C groaned out, pointing above to where High T's Office is"I thought he was covering for you." C pointed to H as he turned to look at the women.

" But it turns out, it was him. He was hiding his own tracks" C explained

"There's gotta be an explanation. Come on, X, M" H pulled on your hand that held his, and patted M's shoulder

"I'm coming with you" C announced as he walked forward

"No, C" H said. C turned around to face H.

"Come on, now. This isn't about you" C countered

You and M only listening at the two, conversing

"I know. I agree" H said, rather angrily. You squeezed his hand gently, three times. H sighed

"Listen, if it turns out what you're saying to be true, and word gets out that T, the most decorated agent in MIB history, is a traitor, the agency will never recover" H explained to C

"If we stop him, no one ever has to know" H continued

"But what if you can't stop him? Then what?" C fended himself

With a short pause, H decided.

"Well, tell them it was me" you looked at H incredulously"Tell them I was the traitor. Trust me, the agency will believe you"

"You" H pointed to C, who looked up to H's brave sacrifice

With a last look, you signalled M to follow you two then walking away

"That's some hardcore decision you made there, H" you whispered softly

"There's no other way. I can't let you be named traitor. M, as well. She just started her reputation" H replied, showing he cared for the team. With a small nudge, you smiled at him

" Don't worry, guys. We'll stop him" M assured everyone

Running to the parking lot, you three arrived the car. A wrecked car

"Oh, that's right. That happened" H looked at the car

"It looks like it got Hulk smashed" you grimaced at the look

Looking to the other side of the ruined car, is a covered car

Strutting towards it, H pulled the cover off, revealing a clean sexy black car

"That's what I'm talking about" Pawny talked for the first time in a while

"I'm driving" Smiled M, walking to the left side of the car

"Uhm.""Uhh.." you and H wanted to tell her, but was too late when she entered the car

H walked towards the right place but was soon stopped by you pointing at the back of the car

"You. In the back" you ordered, sternly looking at him

"Geez, all right" H raised both his arms up in defeat and opened the back door. You entered the drivers seat and made yourself comfortable

You saw M look forward, blankly with a tight smile

"Wrong seat" you laughed at her

"That really should be here" pointing to the steering wheel

"Not in this country" H said from behind

Closing the doors, you pressed the start button

Start StopEngine

Turned the lights on and drove off

"I really would appreciate it if this car would arrive back here without a scratch" H warned you, the driver. You drifted went you turned the car to go to the road

"You can only wish, pretty boy" Pawny shouted to H in excitement at how fast you were driving

"There should be a big red button somewhere" Announced H

"Yes! Press the red button" Pawny cheered

"Found it" M said in the passengers seat, beside you

She pressed it but met with a small beep -ing sounds

Blue screen started appearing around the car

"What was that supposed to do again?" Pawny questioned

"Something good" you responded and prepared for blast off

"WHOA!" you all exclaimed when the car did Blast off

Pawny slammed to H's face in the back but got swatted away so he got slammed on the glass at the back of the car

H just screamed along with Pawny

Boosters and wings started to form around the car

The car is now flying hundreds of meters above the ground as you drove smoothly through the dark sky. The moon blooming and shining brightly in the sky

"Let's do that again! That was so amazing, My Queen" Pawny jumped to the armrest in between you and M

"Soon, Pawny. Soon. And I told you to stop calling me that. Just X." You scolded Pawny

"Right, Just X, let's do that again" Pawny correctly didn't correct himself. If that made sense.

"Let's not do that again" H groaned, holding his forehead where Pawny got slapped on

"Don't listen to the blond boy, Just X" you laughed at Pawny's statement

"We're so doing it again" M said

A device from the car started ringing

H tapped it and Agent C's voice is heard

"H, X, M, you all gotta see this"

An illustration of the Hive appeared and seemed to be moving fast

" A portal from Sector C has been activated" C announced

"The Hive" M whispered

"I'm sending you back up. Out" the call ended. You looked at H from the rear view mirror and back to the way your driving to

"M, you remember when I told you we're in the lying business?" H asked M after a second of silence

"I vaguely remember that" you whispered to yourself to which H answered with a,"You drank Vodka"

"Oh, right. Continue" you said

"Mm-hm" M simply answered the question sent to her

"That's T said that when he recruited me. He said, 'We have to lie to the world, which means we can never lie to each other' " H explained

"I just don't believe that he has" he continued

"You don't ? Or you can't ? That's two different things. People live to either lie or tell the truth. The circle of life." You said. You heard H sigh"A little of both" he answered

" You know, you can't just trust your gut, H" M said

"I still don't like his gut" Pawny nudged to X, who shushed him

"Sometimes things are as they appear to be" M tried comforting the man sulking at the back

"No, we saved the world, for God's sake. Together, with nothing but our wits and our Series-7 De-Atomizers" H explained, still can't get over the fact that T betrayed him

"So I've heard" M said

"I've heard the same sentence for the past few years" you exclaimed at the people inside the car

Seeing the Eiffel tower and weird blue-ish strikes beside it, you smoothly flew down and swerved the car to park in neatly on the side of the road

Turning the lights off, pulling on the handbreak and turning the engine off, you all hopped off the car

Closing the button of your suit as you walked to look at the tower and the sky thundering, you looked at H and M

Walking towards the tower, you in the middle, you all entered the elevator that takes people up the top.
