Chapter 42

Jeon Hayoung POV

After being introduced and interview by Mingyu's manager I was accepted on the spot.

"Thank you Mingyu for helping me get the job" I said to Mingyu before leaving.

"No problem. Just happy to help a friend in need" he said with a chuckled.

"Then I guess I'll be going since you are still working" I said

"Seungcheol hyung is not picking you up?" He asked

"No he's busy with work. Don't worry I'll take a taxi" I said waving bye to Mingyu who waved back.

I was walking past stores but stop in front of a restaurant. I checked the time on my phone it was as almost 11 which means it almost lunch for Seungcheol.

I decided to return the restaurant and order food for Seungcheol oppa.

"Hello, what can I get for you today" the kind old lady asked.

"Can I get two jajangmyeon, one sweet and sour pork, and pickle radish on the side to go please" I asked

"Sure thing. That'll be $20.54 Cash or card"

"Card"

I swipe my card.

"Thank you. Your order will be right up" she said

"Thank you"

I walked to an empty table and sat while wait for the food.

Couple minutes later the food was ready and I left the restaurant.

I hail a taxi and told the taxi driver the location of Seungcheol business.

"Thank you miss" the taxi driver said before leaving.

I turned around and walked into the building.

"Hello Mrs. Choi" the receptionist said

"Hello. Is Seungcheol in his office" I asked

"Yes. Do you want me to inform him that you're here" she asked

"No it's fine. Thank you" I said walking to Seungcheol office.

I reach the 10th floor which is Seungcheol office floor.

I was about to walk in but I heard a voice.

"It's been a while since we met. Let's go grab lunch together" a female voice said

"Sorry I'm busy right now" Seungcheol said

I decided to knock.

"Come in"

I walked in.

"Hayoung" Seungcheol said walking over to you.

"What brings you here" he asked

"I notice that it was almost your lunch break so I brought you some food" I said showing him the bag of food.

"Thank you. You didn't have to" he said before giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Seungcheol"

I look at the woman who was in the room.

"Sorry but I'm busy. I'm having lunch with my wife. Please leave" Seungcheol said

The woman scoffed and walked out the room.

"Who was that" I asked

"Oh no one. Let's eat! I'm starving" he said grabbing the bags from my hand.

I shrugged the woman off my mind and had lunch with Seungcheol.

"Here's yours" I said and hand Seungcheol the jajangmyeon.

I opened mine and mix the noodle with the sauce.

"How was the interview at Mingyu's work place" Seungcheol asked

"It went fine. I'll start working soon so I won't be able to bring you lunch but I'll still be able to pack you lunch" I said before taking a bite of the noodle.

"Okay. I'll send you to work since you'll be making me lunch then"

We ate out lunch in peace and had a nice talk.

As we finish eating, I was cleaning the table we had our lunch in.

I place all the trash in the bag and wiped the table down.

"Hayoung leave it. I'll have my secretary to trash it out" Seungcheol said.

"It's fine. I'll throw it out on my way out. I have to leave soon anyways" I said throwing the last trash into the bag.

"Are you going home after"

"Yeah. Maybe stop at the supermarket" I said grabbing my purse and the trash bag.

"Okay. I'll be home around 8"

"Okay. See you at home" waving bye to Seungcheol.

"See you later" he said back.

I walk out the office and exit the building.

I threw the trash bag away and took a taxi to the supermarket.

I exit the taxi and enter the market with a basket.

I picked up some fruits and vegetables along with some eggs and meat. I put some condiments into the cart and some small snacks.

I stop in front of the drinks sections and picked up some banana milk and some coffee.

"Hayoung?"

I turned around.

"Joshua"

"Hi. Didn't expect to see you here" he said with a laugh.

"Same. Didn't expect to see you too. What are you doing here" I asked

"Grocery shopping. Living with 11 other guys, food gone fast" he said with a chuckled. "You by yourself"

"Yes. Seungcheol still working so I'm be myself."

"Let me drop you off then. You didn't take a car" Joshua offer.

"Oh okay then thank you"

We both paid for out item and I followed Joshua to his car. He helped me place my gorcey into the back trunk and help put away my cart.

He drove me place to my place and help me unload my groceries into the kitchen.

"Thank you for giving me a ride" I said

"No worries. I'll leave now. Be safe by yourself" Joshua said before leaving and driving off.

I closed the door and locked it.

I placed all the grocery away and tidy up the kitchen. I did some deep cleaning since I have nothing to do since it's only 2.

After cleaning I just rest and watch some kdrama on the tv.

Couples hours later I check the time and it was already 7:24.

"I should start making dinner"

I turn off the tv and got up towards the kitchen.

I put on my apron and decided to cook stir fried pork with veggies.

I clean and cut the veggies and place them on a plate.

Then I soaked the noodle in warm water for a couple minutes.

While waiting for the noodle to soften, I stir fried the pork in a pan with some oil.

After seasoning the pork with salt, black pepper and red pepper paste, I added the veggies then the noodles.

I was almost done cooking when I heard the door being unlocked which means that Seungcheol is home.

"I'm home" he said

"Welcome back. I'm in the kitchen" I answered

Seungcheol walked into the kitchen.

"Smells good" he said

I chuckled.

"Great. Dinner almost ready. Wash your hand" I said

Seungcheol walked out the kitchen to get cleaned up.

I place the stir fry onto a plate and placed it on the table along with some rice and a bowl for both of us.

I pour some water into a cup for both of us and made sure I turned off the stove.

"Dinner ready Seungcheol" I said

"Okay"

He walked back into the kitchen and sat down.

"Thank you for the food" we both said
