Chapter 6

I wake up the the sound of someone yelling. I open my eyes, it must be midnight because all I can see is well, nothing really. I blink a few times hoping my eyes could adjust by now. Nothing.

"Josh! How are you feeling?" Jen's concerned voice fills the room.

"Uh, okay I guess. Hey what time is it?" I ask turning my head towards the direction of Jen's voice.

"Um about ten-ish"

"Ten at night?"

"What? No, ten in the morning. Can't you see the sun?"

"What sun" I slowly say.

"Um doctor? Is he okay?"

"Yeah. Why?" Another voice replies, the doctor.

I hear Jen whisper to the doctor, then I hear the doctor say

"Oh no."

"What? What is it?" I ask desperately.

"Can you see?"

"No, pitch black."

Papers ruffle and some doctors whisper to each other.

"I think you might be blind."
