8: Clueless

Sunday had went by faster than expected and I had spent the rest of the day with Rosetta. I hadn't mention anything to her yet, which ate my heart up but me and Fred decided to keep whatever we had going on a secret.

Today is Monday and I was already dreading it like always. I got up around 7 and started getting ready while waiting for Ro and Hermione to come.

I brushed my hair and teeth, took a shower and started to get myself together when I noticed a purple marking on my neck. I was too lazy to try and cover it up so I sighed. I did a quick hair charm just so I can make an excuse of me burning myself while doing my hair. The charm made my hair into smooth tight curls so I brushed it out to give it a softer loose look. It was nice and I loved when I did my hair like that.

I decided to wear something else other than the optional school uniform. I grabbed my loose beige cotton sweater that also Hung nicely off the shoulders, a plain white skirt, plain black socks and my all black doc martens. Also had some rings and my name necklace to accessorize the look. I still wore my robe obviously, plus it was gonna be cold.

As I was cleaning, I heard a charming voice outside my room yell, "Is Thy Royal Snow almost ready".

" ha ha very charming" I said while opening the door."My My, SHE IS SHINING! Isn't she Ced?" Grey said."Oh yes FINALLY, our Sunny Snowy girl is GOLDEN" Cedric replied.

"How the fuck are you two this energetic on a Monday" Rosetta said walking behind them. They both shrugged and just stood by the door while I grabbed my books.

"Someone seems Better than before ... why are you so giddy" Hermione asked me while wiggling her eyebrows up and down. I wanted to tell my friends so bad but I couldn't. Well not yet.

I was blushing in excitement from all of them and well my morning from yesterday."Shove off you lot, let's go I'm staaarving!!" I said while locking up and leaving.

After we all made our way to the Great hall, We sat in the corner of the Hufflepuff table. Hermione sat in between me and Ced, across from us was Ro, Grey and in between them was Cho. We all talked about Quidditch and school.

I was eating my toast when Hermione had moved closer to me and whispered in my ear.

"Why is it that Fred cannot keep his eyes off you?" She asked.I looked at her eyes to guide my way to where she was looking and across from us I seen him, gave a sweet smile as well before he turned away. I didn't know how to reply, but I just said the first thing that came to mind. It was dumb.

"I don't know..he's weird"

"Mhm...very- MERLIN ..EMERALD AURORA SNOW YOU LITTLE MINX" she yelled, nearly grabbing the attention of the whole table. I choked on my toast from the way she yelled in my ear.

"Are you MAD?" I asked her, in a strict tone And I yelled the last word back at her.

The others didn't really care about what she was on about surprisingly, so we whispered a conversation to eachother.

"That....Mark..under your ear- is it .."

"'Mione. I did my hair today, burnt myself while curling"

"Oh right, I'm sorry, I just thought there was something you weren't telling us" she said calmly.

I wonder if she played it off or if she actually believed me. Guess that's one reason she didn't get sorted into ravenclaw.

Breakfast just finished and I didn't really speak after our convo. Her words, "I just thought there was something you weren't telling us" lingered in my mind and it hurt. Something in me wanted to tell them but I just couldn't. I mean well me and Fred just screwed around, was I supposed to say "oh yeah by the way I've been getting Railed by Fred". Besides, me and Fred weren't even friends before so I don't know how it lead to whatever it is now.

I was walking alone on my way to potions when I felt two hands grab my waist behind me to turn me around.

"You in skirts will be the death of me" he said.

I instantly pushed this scoundrel away. He made me feel exposed and as much as I loved wearing skirts, I felt like I needed to be covered up.

"Tom, leave me the fuck alone" I said In a angry tone.

"Come on snow, I missed you and I know you missed me." He implied.

Tom Riddle. Charming, tall, sweet but rude at times, Curly brunette. A slytherin who is currently in the same year as I am. We were going out last year for like 3 months until I found out he cheated on me with Romilda Vane, a Gryffindor who is younger than us. I didn't care much since all we mostly did was argue about the most littlest shit, whether if it was about how my house beat his house in quidditch or even me talking to my close guy friends. Any argument we had, he started it. But overall, I was still hurt over the betrayal, there was still moments we had that made me happy. All the trust I built was now broken. If you couldn't tell by now, my "love" life was horrible. I was always the one to stay loyal. I had been heartbroken by not one but two slytherin boys.

"Funny, you sure didnt miss me when you were shagging Romilda". I was pissed and just thinking about it made me heated.

"How many times do you want me to apologize Snow? For the 50th time I was DRUNK. Besides she wasn't as nearly good as you." riddle replied.

"Pucey told me everything you Git. Remember? Your own Bestfriend tattled on you. How many times do I have to remind you, Leave. Me. Alone." I spat at him before walking into potions. Tom just stood in the halls looking dumb as fuck because he is.

I wasn't in the mood for anything so I walked into class completely ignoring everything. I felt eyes look upon me as I sat at my seat.

"And why might we be late this Morning, Ms. Snow?" Professor Snape asked. I quickly just replied that I had a headache and instead of giving me a detention, he said "5 points from Hufflepuff".

While we were taking notes, I was dozing off thinking about Fred and his toned body and how he makes me feel and I was especially thinking about his-

"Pssst...PSST!...Snowwww!-" I heard from behind me.

What a coincidence. It was Fred. I turned around when Snape wasn't paying attention.

Right when I turned around, I whispered "what do-" but I didn't get to finish my sentence since this mf threw a crumbled up paper at my forehead. I sat there with my eyes narrowed at him. He motioned his fingers, pointing to the crumbled up paper and mouthed the words "go on, read it". So I rolled my eyes and turned back around to read it.

I opened up the note that had some scribble scrabble excuse for words that read;

"Have you even noticed what table you are seated at?"

I turned back around to look at him and I shrugged. Fred chuckled a little looking at me. I had no idea what he was talking about....until it hit me. I widened my eyes which made him chuckle a little harder.

It's the table we shagged on during detention. I quickly crumbled the paper back up and threw it at his head while he was too busy laughing. I did chuckle a little when I turned to face forward, thinking about that day. It was funny but a little moment like this with Fred is what made me heart beat faster.

When class finished, the conversation I had with Riddle still irritated me so I still ignored everyone. Including Fred who wanted to talk to me after class, I felt bad but I wasn't in the mood.

The rest of the day was going by fast. My last class was just a free period so I had met up with Ro and we went to the library to study.

On our way there we seen George, so we caught up to him and since he has study hall he just went with us to the library.

We sat with him for a few minutes before he spoke.

"My brother is meeting up with me here soon so you two can scram now before this arsehole irritates you two".

"Irritating he is...but the other tables are full so he will have to deal with Us if..Snow can behave" she replied to him.

Oh god I was nervous. Me and Fred and his bestfriend next to my bestfriend...great.

Few minutes passed by and Fred had entered and sat next to George which was opposite from me. Me and him were both quiet towards eachother but talked to Ro or George.

"Blimey, I forgot my Quill. I'll be right back" I said.

"No- wait. here just use mine, I don't need it right at the moment" fred said, while handing me his quill.

"Thank you" I told him. Which the whole mini situation shocked Rosetta and George.

"WHAT!... did you just say THANK YOU? ..Fred mate did you hit your head on the door again this morning?"George was saying this while We were quiet and the whole time Ro was chuckling a bit at George's comment before she said something.

"Em are you alright hun? Thats Fred who offered the quill....not George". Ro asked while still in shock.

"Shove off, I can obviously tell the difference" after I said that, Fred looked at me with a sweet smile.

"Merlin calm down, it's a quill- and she said thank you out of manners you Plonker ." Fred said and scoffed while rolled his eyes to George.

It got pretty awkward after that and quiet but there was a few words we shared about classes.

After we all studied, me and Ro grabbed some food during dinner and just went back to my dorm. I was going to tell her about Fred but I still didn't know if I could. I didn't know what me and Fred were, I would say friends with benefits but we weren't even friends. I even thought we could be more than friends. I wanted to wait to see how long this "thing" lasts before mentioning it to Rosetta.

SOOO idk but I feel like this chapter is shitty, but I'm gonna keep it. The next chapter will be better I hope ;).
