18) Tears

Previous chapter summary:Inko requests Hisashi that he brings Izuku back home, feeling sad without his presence. Hisashi is happy about her change of heart and complies to bring him the next morning.They find, Izuku lying unconscious in front of the door , covered in snow. He was cold and not breathing. Because of the Intense snow storm, ambulances would'nt be able to come so in a panic Inko calls Mitsuki and they take Izuku to the hospital on Chik.Now...___________________________________________

Inko, Hisashi , Katsuki, Masaru and Mitsuki were sitting in Mitsuri's hospital cabin.

It was cold. Not just from the lack of air conditioning.. but also from the tension that lay in the air.

Katsuki had just stopped crying and was now sleeping on his mother's lap.

Masaru and Mitsuki seemed to be quite tensed themselves.

Inko was still shivering in both cold and fear of what might have happened to the kid.

Hisashi was sitting with red eyes and a headache...

He hated this feeling.. sitting in this cabin reminded him of the time Izuku was born when Mitsuri was stating the list of disabilities his kid would have.

It had been nearly 4 hours since Izuku was brought in.

They had been sitting in the cabin for around 15 minutes.

Soon.. Mitsuri entered, with a grim look on her face.

She eyed Inko and Hisashi and sat down on her seat.

There was a moment of silence.

Then, Mitsuri spoke.

In a cold.. unforgiving voice.

Ri: "Before I begin telling you about how he's doing.. I want you to tell me, just how did he.. get in such a state."

H: "We don't know.. ok? I was just going out to shovel off the snow to make way for the car in the morning.."

"I tried opening the front door..but it felt jammed.. I saw some snow piled in front of it.."

"I pushed it harshly and turned out.. that under that pile of snow.. was .. *bitter tone* Izuku.."

M: *places her hand on Hisashi's shoulder*

H: "He wasnt breathing.. he wasn't speaking.. he seemed so.. dead.."

I: "Please don't say that Hisashi.. please.."

Ri: "Woah ain't this a sweet suprise. The mother finally starts caring for her child?"

*Claps her hands*

I: "Mitsuri.. stop..please."

Ri: "Oh pardon me, I'm just.. really reallllyy surprised how long it took."

"Well.. sadly you might be a little too late"

Ru: "What do you mean by that?"

At that point, Katsuki woke up.

Ri: " Izuku is dying."

Everyone was speechless..

Especially Katsuki.

Katsuki couldn't react.. he was too stunned to react..

He wasn't much aware of the phenomenon of death.. but one thing he knew..

Death is when someone sleeps and never wakes up again. No matter how much you try.

He was in denial.

Right now, he was just waiting for someone to wake him up if this was a nightmare.

He wanted Izuku to call his name and wake him up.. wishing him Merry Christmas.

Ri: "Major Hypothermia. I can say with confidence that he has been in out in the snow.. wearing nothing but that hoodie for more than 6 hours."

"Most of his organs have shut down. His lungs probably stopped when the door you pushed , hit his back. "

"His heart's efficiency has gone down by 40% and his brain waves seem to be dull."

"Im still surprised as to how HIM of all people is still alive."

H: "No..no.. why is this happening.."

"Why him.."

"He didn't even do anything wrong.."

Ri: "That's not all. We also found-"

K: "M-micchan.. Deku.. is .. *crying* d-dying??"

M: "K-katsuki! When did you-"

K: "Please save him Mi-cchan..p-please.. i-ill hate it if he will n-never wake up.."

Katsuki continued to cry as Mitsuri got up and came closer to Katsuki, patting his back.

Ri: "We're trying our hardest ok? Even as we speak, there are multiple doctors far more capable than even me.. helping Izuku."

".. I-I promise.. we'll.. "

"Try.. our best.."

Katsuki wasn't satisfied...instead he was even more afraid. Mi-cchan had a habit of never lying about these kinds of things.

Ri: "Also.. I want to tell everyone something..but I cant tell it to you yet.. Katsuki. So will you be a good boy and wait outside for a while?"

K: "B-but.."

Ri: "Don't worry.. Your Mom will tell you everything later."

Katsuki was hesitant yet he complied and meekly waited outside the room as the adults talked.

Ri: "As i was saying.."

"We found some amount of.. Bi-oxalate Anazinocylate- 13 .. in his blood."

"Commonly called.. BOA-13"

"Sound familiar?"

They all started thinking when Masaru suddenly looked horrified to the core.

M: "W-whats wrong? Do you know it?"

Ru: "Yeah.. i-its.."

"It came out on news a few months ago.. The BOA-13 , highly potent.. drug.. that was banned from all markets of Japan because of its lethal effects of over dose.."

Everyone was horrified at this piece of information.

Ri: "Almost correct.. the worse thing is that.. its an aphrodisiac which causes hallucinations and makes the body go into a rut. "

H: "A-aphrodisiac??"

I: *covers her mouth in horror*

M: "Mitsuri.. does it mean that.."

Ri: "Yeah... Izuku was probably ra*ed."

"There were samples we found in his hoodie that have been sent to the forensic labs to identify "

"It's also clear from the bleeding and severe r*ctal trauma. Whoever bastard did this.. didn't show any mercy or humility.. it was brutal."

"Since he is'nt sexually mature, the drug didn't put him in a rut.. but instead caused his body to go numb and heated up. And over all that, he was given a dose which isn't even safe for healthy adults.."

"Izuku will need not only physical.. but also mental and emotional to recover."

"That is.. if he makes it through the surgery."

"We'll need to get the police involved."

Inko cried loudly into Hisashi's shoulder.. Hisashi himself couldn't stop the tears from flowing.

Mitsuki grit her teeth as she bawled her hand into tight fists.. digging into her palms.. drawing blood

Masaru noticed this and immediately hugged her to comfort her.. and himself.

Mitsuri couldn't keep her serious demeanor and broke into silent sobs.

Being her doctor even since he was born.. she was very attached to him..

She was hurting just as much as the others were.. for Izuku.

Ri: *wipes her eyes* "Oh well.. Hisashi.. what about Haru? Didn't he contact you?"

M: ".. Haru.. THAT BASTARD! I KNEW IT! *holds Hisashi by his shirt* I TOLD YOU THAT HARU WAS A DANGER! AND LOOK WHERE IT TOOK US!"

I: "H-haru? Your.. creepy cousin from the marriage day?"

"B-but you said Izuku was staying with a friend of yours?"

H: "I-Inko I can explain.. Haru is a changed man! And I'm sure he's done nothing !"

M: " OHHH SO HE'S DONE NOTHING HUH???"

"THEN WHY THE F**K HAS THAT BASTARD NOT EVEN GIVEN YOU A CALL??"

"DONT SAY THAT "OHH HE PROBABLY DIDNT NOTICE THAT IZUKU IS MISSING" OR SOMETHING!"

"IM GOING TO PUT THAT SPINELESS ASS**** ON A STRETCHER AND THEN IN PRISON!"

Mitsuki dropped Hisashi to the floor and started trying to exit.

Masaru and Hisashi tried to hold her back but as soon as they saw her infuriated glare, they let go..

M: *comes out*

K: "M-mom! What's going on? What's all the noise..?"

In her fury, Mitsuki ignored Katsuki as she proceeded to go towards Chik that was parked in a corner with a ticket on it.

Just then.. she heard a voice.. one that she absolutely despised.

She turned her head and saw him.

M: "Haru.."

Haru seemed to be distressed and in panic, with his clothes and hair all dissheveled . He was trying to ask the receptionist if the Midoriyas has come here.

Mitsuki came closer and tapped his back once.

He turned around.

Haru: *relieved face* "Oh Mitsuki! Final-"

M: *punches him in the face*

That one punch was enough to cause Haru to get a nosebleed.

The receptionist screamed and begged Mitsuki to stop as the security gaurds and other people started approaching them.

Haru: *holding his nose* "W-what.. why-"

M: *another punch to the gut*

Haru: *falls to the floor* "AUGHH!"

And then she kept kicking him again and again, as she thought about Izuku's condition and whatever Mitsuri told them about him.. taking out all of her frustration on him.

The security gaurds, tried to get her away.. but her fury outpowered their strength.

M: "THIS MAN IS A RA**ST!"

"HE RA*ED... MY 7 YEAR OLD NEPHEW! *tearing up* HE DRUGGED HIM! "

Just then, Katsuki came running and latched on to her leg , crying.

K: "MOM! STOP! PLEASE!!"

"THIS ISNT YOU! PLEASE STOP MOM! YOURE SCARING ME!"

It was after then, that Masaru and Hisashi caught hold of her again.. and crying.. she fell on her knees.. in defeat..

M: "Y-youre.. a monster.."

"How.. *sniffle* could you..*covers her eyes* "

Katsuki had never seen his mom cry so bitterly before..

To him, she always seemed like the strongest person he knew.. unwavering.. and strong..

So.. seeing her cry.. caused shivers to run up his spine..he was crying too..

Haru: *getting up slowly* "I-izuku.. w-where is he..?"

H: "in the operation theatre.. but.. why.. Haru.. I trusted you.. h-how did this happen.. d-dont tell me.. you had a hand in it?"

Haru: " I have no idea.. huff.. what you're talking about Hisashi.."

"I went to the club last night.. and even made sure to lock the doors and tuck Izuku in bed .."

"B-but i returned in the morning.. to see the house door open.. and.. Izuku was missing!"

"I-i searched everywhere for him!"

H: "Then why didn't you give us a call! "

Haru: "I did Hisashi! I did! Hundreds of times! You didn't pick up!"

"Check your phone!"

Hisashi realized he had forgotten his phone in the car..

Ru: "How did you even come here?"

Haru: "Not being able to contact you or find Izuku.. I decided to come to you.. but you had left already!"

"The neighbours told me you guys were causing some noise in the morning and calling for an ambulance.."

"I've been checking all hospitals in the area for over an hour! And finally.. i found you!"

"Please tell me Izuku is safe!"

H: "No...he isn't.."

Doctors kept coming in and out of the operating room.. with bloodied gloves.. and instruments.

Haru was in complete shock at the story that Hisashi told him.

He stood up and started banging his head on the wall until he started bleeding and had to be stopped by others.

Haru: "ITS ALL MY FAULT!"

"IF... IF I ONLY.. DIDNT GO TO THE CLUB LAST NIGHT!"

H: "It's ok! It's ok.. no one is blaming you.."

M: *glares them*

I: *trying to calm down Katsuki* "Everything is Okay Katsuki.. no need to cry.." *kisses his forehead*

"Izuku Is going to be fine.."

K: "B-but M-micchan said that.."

...Haru: "Im sorry Hisashi.. i-i really am.. i can totally understand if you don't trust me anymore but.. I swear.. i would never do something so heinous to my nephew!"

H: "it's all right.. it's alright.."

"I know.."

Haru: *deep breath* "I-ill just head home and bring back some stuff okay?"

*Starts to exit*

Ri: "Freeze. Midoriya Haru."

There were 3 policemen standing around Mitsuri.

Haru: *eyes widen*

Ri: "You are a suspect for this case.. the police would like to have a word with you.. and an inspection of your house."

Policeman: " Don't try to resist. Any moves you make can and will be used against you in court if needed."

M: "Let's see how your faith in this man plays out Hisashi.."

Haru: "... All right *slight smile* Let's visit my house then."
